Episode 10 – summary
This time the main focus is on Kureha, because it is her birthday. The first of the three parts starts at Usami's apartment where she is celebrating her birthday with her friends from the Craft Club. While here we actual see that not just Usami's photo are curse but her whole apartment is possessed with ghosts. The gift that she receives from Usami is a full body pillow with a picture of Subaru on the cover. While Nakuru's present is to act out the story from her boy's love manga which is just disturbing. Then they move on two the second part of the story where they relocate to the Maid cafe from the previous episode.
While here she meet not just the rest of the staff but Kanade and Subaru are here to celebrate her birthday with her. Everything goes very nice how ever Kanade's sick sense of humor makes an appearance when she brings out her game she had made with Jirou shooting underwear at Usami. Then the party ends as Kanade takes Kureha back home in her limo. While we get to hear of previous birthdays that Kureha had.
In the end we see why Kureha is so attached to her brother is because he has been there for her all through out here life. In this way we can see that to Kureha could see her brother as more a parental figure that as a sibling. Although we also see why she was down at the beginning because last year Jirou forgot her birthday. However this year he didn't and what turn at as a warm hug, escalates to him getting beat-up by his sitter again.
