Shingeki no Kyojin - ep08

Things start off with Armin holding onto Mikasa's broken blade, and soon after Mikasa throws it away. It seems that Mikasa isn't going let anyone else close to her die, that she intends to take Armin with them. Then as they are about to leave Armin gets an idea, that they use this rogue Titan to destroy the other Titan surrounding headquarters. Although to do that they need to kill the two Titan closes to it, and once that is done it will head in the direction of Headquarters to destroy the next closes Titan. The plan is successful, and with it completion things focus in on the main group that is heading to headquarters. They make it inside only because the Titans are consume with devouring their comrades. Although they are surprised by the appearance of Mikasa that they have given up for dead, but they are surprised even more about the Titan they brought with them.

Then as Mikasa explains things to the others, that this Titan isn't interest in humans at all that it's only desire is killing it's own kind. That the best things is to use it to keep the Titans outside at bay, this will allow them to focus on killing the smaller Titan that are inside headquarters. That there biggest concern is getting resupplied. Then towards that end Armin comes up with a plan, that to execute it they will have to divide there forces into two different groups. The first group will go down to the warehouse on an elevator, there job is to serve as bait for the Titans down there as well as blind them once they all are lured in. The second groups job is to finish them off from behind. The plan is mostly successful except for a few mistakes but no-one dies and they are able to resupply.

Then with all this done they return to the roof of headquarters to see how the rogue Titan is fairing. Although what is surprising is that the Titan is pinned to the side of a building and the other Titans are eating it. Then when Mikasa suggest helping it Jean is outraged at the idea of working together with a Titan, but the other think it is a good idea. That even though they understand nothing about it, that doesn't change the fact that it would be any less useful since in the end it doesn't really matter if in the end they kill the Titan or this rogue one does their job for them. However when Armin see the Titan that killed Thomas, and speaks about out loud. This sends the rogue Titan berserk, which leads to to breaking free of the Titans at the cause of it arms. Then kills this Titan and the others around it, but this action leads it to burn itself out. Although as this rogue Titan is dissolving, at the base of it's neck it reveal Eren to Armin and Mikasa's surprised. What even more surprising once they bring Eren back up to the roof is that the Arm and Leg he lost in his battle have regenerated. This raise a whole bunch of question but the largest one is how did Eren became a Titan.  

Date A Live - ep08

Now with the realization that the AST have already killed Kurumi once, Shido realizes he doesn't have much time to try and save Kurumi because there is no guarantee that she will survive the next time. This is where the story leads us into Shido asking Kurumi out on a date but this event triggers a cascading effect that this going to complicate things. First you have Origami pinning Shido to the wall to try and get answer from him about whats he was talking about with Kurumi. Then you have Tokka who has lately been feeling lonely because she hasn't been spending much time with Shido. When some of Shido's classmates see that she is crying they give her tickets to the aquarium so that she can go on a date with Shido. This leads to her asking Shido out but in a way that makes him forget that he has already asked Kurumi to go out with him. Then when he finally remembers, Origami calls him basically ordering to go out with her and not giving him any room to refuse her.

This leads to a complicate situation where he has to date the three woman on the same day, and what makes it worse is that he is meeting them a half an hour apart from each other. The first is Tokka, who he meets at 10 o'clock for their date at the aquarium. Then when it is almost 10:30 he has to leave Tokka to get teleported back to where the meeting place is to meet Kurumi, although I don't think that following the advice from his sisters dating computer is the best idea. The reason being is that it has the first date be at a lingerie shop however she doesn't reject the idea. Then when they are at the shop, he has to make a run for it when he is spotted by his classmate that pushed Tokka to ask him out. Then he manages to get to the meeting place to join up with Origami, but she wants to have lunch first before they see a movie. Now with the ball rolling things focus briefly on what he does with each girl before having leave to meet with the next one.

Although this rhythm is disrupted when he leaves Kurumi alone for a while. That as she is waiting in the park for him to return, she see a group of boys bullying a cat. However she doesn't really care about the cat, it just that she like bullying the weak. That as they are bullying the cat, she in turn is going to bully them. Then before she begins she blinds the cameras that Kotori has been using to observer her with, which means she known this whole time that she was being watched. Then when Shido returns, he finds that Kurumi is missing. This leads him into searching for her, but he isn't prepared for what he finds. That Kurumi is in an open field cover in blood, and he see her as she kill the last of the bullies. Now that Shido has found out there is nothing that she can do, but before she can really do anything to Shido she is sent flying. It turns out that he is save by is sister Mana, things end with these two in a dead lock against one another.

Valvrave the Liberator - ep07

Now with the conclusion of the last battle it is revealed that there are other Valvraves, It seems that the revelation has driven the Student Council President power mad. That he beliefs that they are his because he is the head of the only governing body aboard the unit. Although Haruto feels that they shouldn't be use unless they have to but because of the reason behind how he knows this he can't tell others. That to pilot a Valvrave you must discard your humanity, that in the end he beliefs it is safe to not use them for now. This decision is later enforce because Haruto knows the most about them and they should follow his advice. Although this conflict with the Student Council President might start a rebellion later on, but for now things are resolved.

Then things return to normal for a bit when Yukino is helping Shoko cook, it turns out that Shoko's cooking looks something like witch's brew. However apposed to how it looks, from the peoples reaction it is surprisingly good. This is when L-elf makes his appearance by giving Shoko one of his prophecies, by advising her on the only path that their country can take. However Shoko doesn't agree with his ideals that the must turn it into a military state. That to this opposition L-elf takes the whole unit hostage and the goes about setting a trap for Haruto. That when he springs his trap he falls into a trap set by his former comrade A-drei. Which ends with Haruto pinned to the ground when he escapes.

Then with Dorssia on their door step, Yukino launches to fend them off. Although it appears that they are ready for the Valvrave this time. That shortly after she engages the enemy her movement are sealed by this boomerang weapon. That it is during this time that L-elf wakes up Haruto and tells him to bit him. Although there is no grantee that he will be able to pilot the Valvrave, that it might just kill them both. Although it turns out that it does work, that with their two abilities combined they are unstoppable. This is show through how easily Haruto manages to force Dorssia to retreat, what this means is that Haruto is seeing that it is only a matter of time before they are force to follow L-elf's lead. Although the one thing that Haruto doesn't know about is that his friend Aina was killed in the fight in the hanger. However this doesn't mean she is going to stay dead since the Valvrave makes someone immortal, doesn't that also suggest that they are cable of bring the dead back to life. That we might just have our next pilot.

Devil Summoner 2 - ep08

The battle get start as this Septentrion appears before Hibiki, that it is nothing but a giant rolling ball with protruding spikes. Although when Hibiki teams up with Nitta to destroy one of the three, it is only once they destroy it does he realize what Yamato meant about why they all had to work together. Since they can't be destroyed individually, then the greatest problem is going to lie with Ronaldo's group since they are the weakest. In the end it takes the Septentrion destroying an auditorium that Airi preformed in to give her the strength need to destroy this Septentrion. That with the appearance of Airi's new demon all three groups have the strength that they need to destroy all three part of this Septentrion simultaneously. However in it's destruction there is still the fact that Hibiki received a Dead clip of Ronaldo death. Initially it awakening of Airi's new power that they prevent the prophesied death from coming true. Although in it's last moments the Septentrion unleashes a final attack, that kills Ronaldo as the Dead clip foretold. However before the battle he gave Hibiki a jump drive with everything he discovered about Yamato. That now with Ronaldo gone Hibiki will probably need it new more than ever. There is also the question of what will happen to the resistance now that Ronaldo is gone. Will Hibiki take charge and lead them in Ronaldo's place or will JP's absorb them back into there organization.

Then as Hibiki is reflecting on all that has happen, he receives a visit by Alcor. Then when Hibiki question him on the fact on why he won't help them if he has the power, it is then that he reveals that this is a trial for humanity. That since he isn't human he isn't allow to help because he is a Septentrion like the one's that they already have defeated. Then he explains that the world is governed by Polaris, that many view it to be a god. In the end it takes action to maintain the worlds order, and the Septentrion exist to see that it's will is enforced. That in the end this is why Alcor made Nicaea and the demon summoning app is because there is nothing he could do to directly to openly deify Polaris. However he could create the tools to give humanity a choice, that they could go quietly and let Polaris erase them from existence or they could fight. That in the end the people that are alive today or only the ones that choose to fight against their own extinction. This raises the question after everything is over what then. That to Hibiki it raise the question of even if they survive will their be any worth in world where nothing remains while it seems that Yamato doesn't care about saving the world because he doesn't believe there is anything to save. The question is what does Yamato really want, and is he going to achieve once everything is finished.  

Shingeki no Kyojin - ep07

Things returns us to Mikasa search for Eren, and instead she find a group of soldiers unable to follow the retreat order because they don't have enough gas to make the trip. That through meeting these unfortunate souls that she is able to find Armin, who was a part of Eren's squad. That only when he sees Mikasa does he finally speak of the misfortune that his squad met. That in the end he was the only one that survived. This news hit Mikasa hard because Eren was her everything, and now that Eren's gone she has no-longer has any reason to go on living.

This cause her to make a very poor decision, that she intend to have the Titans kill her by going into on last final battle. That Through this act she drags the other hopeless mass with her by declaring to retake the resupply depot from the Titans so that they can make it back alive. That in this last attack so die just because they run out of gas. Although for Mikasa when she runs out of gas and she is about to have her life end by a Titan like she wished. Mikasa ends up having a change of heart that if she dies that Eren would have truly been forgotten, that she now wishes to live to keep the memory of Eren alive.

That at this moment is when another Titan appears to defeat the Titan that almost devoured Mikasa. Although the interesting thing is that it looks remarkably like Eren. Then as the Titan are fighting among each other, Armin sweeps in to save Mikasa seeing that she ran out of gas. Then later on the roof top they are rejoined by Connie. That is when they see the appearance of another Titan, however the one from before blocks it's path towards Mikasa and the others. This strange Titan that kills it's own kind get even stranger when it takes up a fighting stance, when Titan are suppose to be mindless beasts. That this is when it kill another effortlessly, than once this is done it moves past Mikasa and the other not even caring that they are there. This when it is reveal to Connie that Mikasa is out of gas. This is when Armin steps in and gives her the rest of his supplies, that she needs them more than he does. The question is if this Titan is really Eren and if so how did it come to be.

Date A Live - ep07

Now with the introduction of two new characters, it seems that things are going to getting a lot more complicated. First of two new characters is Mana, who turns out to be his sister. That it is through her that we get a bit more on the past of Shido. It seems that Kotori isn't his true sister, that he was adopted by the Itsuka family. There is another fact that is revealed is that both Mana and Shido lost all memories of their live before being adopted into their current families. There is also the fact that she has a vague memory of Shido being sent far away, it seems that it is possible that neither Mana or Shido are human at all. Although on of the things that seems will cause a lot of friction between them is that Mana is part of the AST. There is also the fact that she has already kill a spirit, that by siding with the AST is going to make her Shido's enemy. Then there is also the other side to the coin, what will Mana think when she realize that Shido is trying to save her enemy.

Then there is the introduction of the third spirit Kurumi, that the AST has given the codename of “Nightmare”. That it seems that unlike the other two she has a history of being directly hostile towards humans, that she has already kill 10,000 by her own hands. There is the question of should Shido try and save this one. Although there is another fact that her voice is probably the voice he hear when he was almost killed when he first met Touka. However what interesting is that unlike the other where he went to them, this time around the spirit is coming to him. There is also the fact that she seem obsessed with him, that she has no intention of allowing anyone else to have him. Also Kurumi probably knows more about him than he knows about himself. Towards the end there is the fact that Kurumi was kill by Mana probably before she went to meet her brother. However she didn't stay dead, like how Shido didn't stay dead when he was shot by Origami. This asks the question on how are Kurumi and Shido connected, that through their interaction it will reveal the truth Shido's origins.

Valvrave the Liberator - ep06

This time around instead of focusing in on massive plot development they instead decide to focus on developing Yukino's character and the awakening of the next Valvrave. Then continuing where things left off with Haruto and Yukino discovering the other Valvrave. It seems that Yukino has no intentions to heed Haruto's warning, and after she is accept by the Valvrave. Yukino goes out for a joy ride in her new toy. Then when Haruto show up to scold her about what she has done, we began to see behind her facade. Then just as she gets Haruto to feel sorry for her she bites him, surprisingly you would think that it wouldn't work because he is able to do the same. Although it turns out that she is able to possess him.

Then she goes about having some fun using his body, that she intents to use him and the new Valvrave to make herself even more famous that she already is. This seems to be because of the fact that she is a fallen Idol, that her hatred for singing isn't because she didn't like but because the people that supported her abandoned her. That also to her it is a tool to get away from her horrible family, that everything around is a tool to make her life better. That when Dorssia returns to take what they want, she intends to use this as a chance to once again step into the limelight. However when Dorssia sends in the elite she collapses under the presser, and this leads to Haruto having to fight alone. That is until Shoko arranges for enough people to stroke her ego that it gives her the will to fight again. Even-though they have won the fight it seems on of the elite have manage to invade the unit while everyone was distracted. It is like that this was the commanders plan than even if they lose, it doesn't matter if they still get what they want in the end.

Devil Survivor 2 - ep07

Now with Alcor's appearance it breaks the tension between Hibiki and Yamato. However with his appearance he reveals that Yamato came to save him because he received Hibiki's clip from Nicaea. Then with this Alcor also reveals a great many other things such as he is the creator of both the devil summoning app and Nicaea. That without them humanity would have never even have a chance of surviving the Septentrion. Although there is another question that has yet to be answered, and that is what is Alcor. He seems to be alied with the demons but he declares he is not a threat, it seems like he is a netural party that isn't on anyones side. Interestingly enough he himself doesn't know what he is either. Then as he leaves unnoticed, it clear that battle lines have been drawn. That Hibiki has no indent to being used by anyone anymore, this means that he isn't going to working under either Yamato or Ronaldo. It also kind of convent that the three different faction develop at the same time an enemy is going to appear in three different place at once. That without these three different faction being formed then there would have been no way to defeat the enemy.

Then once that is all settle they go into further preparation for the next battle by having everyone take a physical. Although this is partly done to break up the earlier tension even more. However it seems that Professor Fumi alludes to the fact that there is a hidden objective in this physical. It is until the end that we find out that she was searching for something specific in the people that they have gathered fighting for them. It turns out that the one that has what Fumi needs is Nitta, but with the reverence of a living sacrifice. The question is what does Fumi intend to use Nitta for, and there is also the question of will she be able to because it seem like Hibiki will not allow anyone to harm her. That in the end any action that Fumi takes will probable cause Hibiki to turn completely against them. However it doesn't rule at the fact that Nitta could be the next one to die, because they have already proven that no-one is untouchable.

Shingeki no Kyojin - ep06

Now with the death of Eren and Armin is left alive, the question is why the Titan decide to go after Armin as well. However it seems it might be awhile before the question is answers. Although for Armin once he comes to his sense, he reflect on this moment a see the world for what it has always has been cruel. It is a place where the strong feed on the weak, while Armin is still struggling with Eren's death. Things move onto Mikasa and her efforts on the final defense line. That after she defeat a Titan and see that a merchant is holding up the evacuation because of he selfishness. It is something she can't stand while her friend are fighting and dieing this person is only thinking of himself. That once the way is clear Mikasa remembers the day that she first met Eren.

That in this flash-back we get to see a time when Mikasa was a happy child. That she original didn't always live with Eren. That her family live in a small cabin out in the woods. Although because this isolation is what ultimately lead to the death of her parents because some lowlifes what to abducted both her and her mother into slavery because they were oriental. Which apparently is a extinct race of people in this world. Although during the confrontation they unintentionally killed the mother. However when Eren and his father arrive to find Mikasa's parents dead with Mikasa missing. Eren's father tells him to go home while he goes to inform the authorities.

It seems that Eren is unwilling to do this and goes to find Mikasa in secret. It turns out he does find out where she is but the lowlifes didn't ever expect that a child would kill them. Then once Eren frees Mikasa and tells her who he is, that is when he finds out that there were three men and not just two. That this is when the last man catches him by surprise, and Eren convenience Mikasa that she must fight or she will die. This leads to Mikasa taking out the last man. Then once everything is resolved and Eren's father return he scolds him for what he has done. Although Eren makes the point that if he did nothing than they would have been too late to save Mikasa. This brings into perspective Mikasa attachment to Eren, that as long as he lives she feels that there is nothing that she can't do. Although the question is what will happen to her when she finds out from Armin that he is dead, will it drive her past the point of madness or will she lose all hope and drive in her life with Eren gone. Only time will tell.

Date A Live - ep06

Now with all the time they have spent on focusing on Shido and the spirits, they decide that now would be a good time to explore the inner works of the AST. It seems that their commander is over stressed and has a bit of an obsession with hot-springs. That in the end what drivers her over the edge is the fact the higher-ups decided to suspend the company trip to thirteen different hot-springs because of the increase spirit activity. It turns out that the soldiers under her command know how much see was looking for to this they suggest that they take a trip to paradise hot-spring. However it might not be as grand as the company trip it is just their way of showing how much they appreciate the commanders hard-work.

Although the problem that is created is that it turns out that Shido's group has decide to go to the same hot-spring on the exact same day. Which ultimately leads to an unavoidable conflict, which they are kind force to meet when Tokka breaks the road by throwing a fit because Shido is giving Yoshino to much attention. That through this event it leads to the crew of Fraxinus to used Date Town to keep the two groups separate from each other. That the battle between the two is quiet humorous because it create a whole new meaning of food fight. Although it is clear that the commander isn't going to allow anything to stop her journey to her paradise, no-matter what it might be. Although things end a bit tragically for the commander when Yoshino freezes the hot-spring because her puppet loses it head.

Valvrave the Liberator - ep05

Now with them declaring their independents, this event has cause the status quo to be re-established. Although the question is for how long, it is doubtful that Dorssia has given up on these weapons. Then there is that fact that ARUS really can't do anything about the situation either since the public is siding with these tragic youths, and with the election coming up they can't do anything that would compromise their position. This brings back to what life with be like for them now that they are independent, it turns out the situation is a lot like the story in “The Lord of the Flies”. That like the book everything start out nice and peaceful because they can now do what ever they want. However without any sense of true order and authority things will not turn out very well when thing start to go bad.

It doesn't take vary long for this to happen, That with the module being separated from the rest of the unit it cause the system to run a little hot, this ultimately cause the system to overheat and cause a blackout. This point at the first critical problem that they will be facing in the future, is how are they going to maintain the infrastructure of the unit that they are going to be living in from now on. While normal a power failure is a major cause for concern, however when power provides you both everything you need to survive it means with out it you are not going to live vary long without. It doesn't take for vary long for them to start blaming one another for the situation that they find themselves in now. Although once the power is turn back on, it shows how fragile their situation is. This raise the question how will they fair once Dorssia and ARUS return for the weapons they so desire.

Although this leads to the final point of obtain funds to maintain their government. It done in an interesting way since the beginning they have had the media and social network be a large part of the story. That by doing a little YouTube type video, while combining it with a site to take donation for them. It results in them so far earning a quarter of a billion yen. Then once this is finished it focus on Haruto and Yukino as they explore the deeper levels of the module in hopes of prevent something like the blackout from happening again. Although with L-elf involvement they discovered something that they didn't expect a whole armory of Valvraves, this fact frightens Haruto. Although it seem that Yukino wants one of her own, but once Haruto conveys his fears she calms down and agrees to let it be their secret. Now it seems that this is a beginning of a love triangle between Haurto, Yukino, and Shoko.
