Episode 8 – Summary
This is another one of the fluff episodes, it's main focus is on the fact that everyone that is one the student council is too weak and the military just can't have them dieing on them. That is why they are on this beach that is protected by the military's barrier, so that means that it is safe for Himea to be here and not have to worry about demon worshipers or the chruch. Even though there is a lot of focus on increasing degree of the interaction between Himea and Taito. There are also other things that get point out during this episode.
The first thing is that Aomi has successfully blackmail the military into making her apart of the student council, but in-fact this is partly Gekkou fault because he lit Taito on fire. That because of this Aomi saw him on fire without receiving a single burn. Which cause the military to cave into her demands so that they could keep what is going on at the school a secert. The other main point that gets focus on is that because Himea lost most of her magic to Edeluca, her strongest spells require a lot of time to prepare so that Taito needs to get stronger fast so that he can act as her guard.
Last thing they sort of point out that they will need to get strong enough to kill a god, what this is eluding to is that things might happen where they will have to fight and kill the Tenma because they have already proven themselves to be a threat once already. Then final they end things with the arrival of Taito's Childhood friend Haruka, which is going to increase the tension with Haruka and Himea fighting over Taito.
