Episode 5 – 05 – New characters
Armand Jeremaih – Is a man that was under Hugh's command when he was in the military. Also from him we learn that the last rank that Hugh held was lieutenant, that is because he hates to call Hugh by anything but his rank. On top of all this he has an over the top personality that make him look like he is acting out a part in a play.
Viola – Is a woman who job is to serve the desire of men, also on top of this it is allude in the begin that she is not even human. What it seems that she was created for will be revealed in time, but one thing that is strange is that for every other character of importance they gave their full. Although for her we find that we just get her first name.
Melgar – His is an ancient magician that got he count title, and he is the one responsible for creating Viola for the sake of find out what cause men to be seduced. Also he want to know what cause Viola to develop a will of her own, so he want to take her back to dissect her.
Episode 5 – 05 – Summary
It starts of with someone banging on the door, when Hugh opens it he finds Armand who was once under his command when he was in the military as a pilot. Later we find out that so woman named Viola has asked all the men that propose to her, to get her a phantom book. Although it's not just the books but she asked for them by name. While having each man get her a different book. However, when Armand asked for her address he was given it immediately because he was with Dalian. This is because it seems that Viola wants to see her and appears to know who she is.
When they finally meet with her and ask how she knows these thing, and why she been asking for phantom. They find out that she just know these things, and doesn't even have memories of her own life. Shortly after they are attack by this creature that says she has until the next full moon before the count come to get her. Although in truth I doubt that she really doesn't know who is coming after her, because if she didn't why would she be so exact on which phantom books she wants.
On the next full moon, we see a small army prepared for battle. Although before the fight starts, Dalian tells a tail of woman under similar circumstance. Which in a way is subtly saying that none of these men are going to get this woman. Once the fight starts, count Melgar kills most of the men by turning their blood to mercury. Although when it appears the fight is lost, the five men that got their hands on a phantom books try to use them. However, Melgar simply burns them to the ground saying that all money can by is fakes, nothing of any real value. Things finally end when everyone is about to die and then Dalian allows Hugh to open the gate to acquire the five real phantom books. Which cause Melgars defeat, although in the end it turns out that Viola never intended to marry any of the men gather there just like the legend that Dalian was talking about earlier.
