Now Ichika has to deal with the
aftermath of asking Kanzaki to be his partner. First major point of
the chaos that follows Ichika is the reaction of his harem responding
to his indirect refusal. Although realistically he really couldn't
have asked anyone of them in the first place. In this ways Tatenashi
helped him be fair where in the end everyone was equally hurt.
However now they are out for blood, this leads them to team up with
each other. This leads Houki being left out which results in her
teaming up with Tatenashi. While Ichika tries to convince Kanzaki to
team up with him while she continues to refuse him but without
revealing that her sister put him up to it.
That in the end Ichika wins her over
with his persistence, although through all this it reveals a sub-plot
through out the episode revolving around sisters. First you have the
reverse parallel between Houki and Tatenashi, how they are in
different position of one being the younger and older sibling and
their struggle to break the uncloseable gap between their siblings
from apposing sides of the fence. The you have the parallel between
Ichika and Kanzaki how they wish to surpass the achievements of their
siblings. Also this leads to the fact how they desire to step out of
the shadow that their siblings has cast upon them. However when
things are going the right way for Ichika things turn sour when
Tatenashi is visiting Ichika and Kanzaki stops by to thank him for
all that he has done for her. This results in her finding out about
her sister being involvement with Ichika, and how her sister was the
motivating force behind Ichika's actions. The question is how is this
going to effect their relationship, while also change her perceptive
on Ichika actions. The other issue is how will she face Ichika now
that she knows, and how will Ichika resolve this issue.
