Date A Live - Ep12


Now with Shido's decision to change venues and leave the the water-park behind the real date can began. It seems that the move to the amusement park was a good decision on Shido's part but when Shido wants to ask her what she remembers of what happen five years ago. Things don't go well because Origami choose this moment to interfere, then for this moment things go down hill because she is unwilling to listen to reason. That Origami believes that Kotori is responsible for kill her parents, but Shido doesn't believe that is what happen. Although it is difficult to make Origami believe that there is more going on because the AST only tries to kill the spirits and never tries to understand them. Now with all attempt of peaceful settlement being thrown out the window, it comes down to one person trying to kill the other. In the end it appears to Kotori is going to win until Origami tells Kotori is responsible for killing her parents, it is this news that Shock that brings her back to her senses..


Then when Kotori lost the will to fight, Origami tries to cease this opportunity to kill her. However Kotori is save by the intervention of Tokka and Yoshino. Then as Tokka is fight Origami she is trying to convenience her that she is wrong in trying to kill Kotori because it wouldn't change anything. That she understand how she feels because she felt the same when Origami kill Shido, that even if she succeed it won't change anything. However it seems that Origami has closed herself off from the world. Then as Origami is battling it out with Tokka, Shido continues on his path to seal Kotori's powers. Although it isn't until Origami is returning to finish what she started is Shido able to make any progress. Now with Shido sealing Kotori, he is able to protect his sister since Efreet is now possessing him instead of Kotori. The real question is that if Origami still had the strength to fight would she have really kill Shido to get her revenge. Now that things have end with Kotori it is clear that the series is not over with a good amount of question left unanswered and the matter with Kurumi unresolved. It will most likely be six months to a year until the second season begins but nothing is over because this was only the opening act.
