Now with the
second half of the introduction, they have Kousaku being appointed as
the one to show her around. However what kind of funny is that
Kinoshita Ringo is not fooling anyone as who she real is, which makes
thing amusing when Kousaku is appointed to show her around because
everything he does is over the top. That it will be interesting to
see how the show gets Kousaku's character to shift from seeing Ringo
as Yuka Kusakabe to connect with her as a real person and not someone
put on a pedestal.
Although it is
very clear Ringo's reason for coming to this farming school is
Kousaku, it is likely that she came her to be closer to him. However
it will be interesting to see how she came about this decision, since
it is quite likely that she force the school to put her as close to
Kousaku as possible. That it probably wasn't the school that decide
that he would show her around but Ringo herself that cause this to
happen as well as arranging for her to be place in the same dorm as
Kousaku. Even-though there are some hints at this fact as he is
showing her around, it becomes blatantly obvious when they decide to
play the king game. That in the game he keeps getting the king and
keeps trying to pick Ringo but Minori is always misleading which
result in always picking her until Ringo become the king. That first
she bluntly ask what his numbers is so she won't make the mistake
that he did. All of this was to have Kousaku call her only by her
first name disregarding all formalities.
What didn't make
a lot of sense is the whole skit about washing of underwear. How
things went from Kousaku helping her out to Minori getting involved.
Possibly it was to show the budding love triangle but this building
tension was disturbed by Kei invading with his own phlosy on the
value of underwear. Then things get strange from there on in, but it
seems that they still don't really know how to act around Ringo since
a lot of their action seem kind of forced.
