This anime is
based on it's manga counter-part but considering that the manga is
not even close to finishing it is likely that they will try to create
something originally based off of the text. There has been others
that this have been done with but for the most part they come out
feeling rushed the question is how much of the original source
material they decide to use and at what point was the manga up to
when they wrote the script. In this first episode they already about
cover the entire first volume which means they might start creating
something new in the next few episodes.
One of things
that it looks like they are trying to make clear from the very
beginning is Magnus is responsible for killing his family. While in
the manga it takes them awhile to define why Raishin wants to kill
him. There is also the fact that in the manga they implied that
Magnus was Raishin's brother. In the Anime they might give him a
different background, another thing is in the manga the night party
that Raishin is obsessed with takes a backseat to the real action.
That the actual fight in the night party is just the conclusion of
all the event that happened behind the scene that leaded up to that
final moment. They might decided to make the night party to be more
of a center focus than it is in the manga or they might choose to
focus in on Raishin's desire for revenge. It's still to early to
truly say which direction the writes have decide to go in, but it
will likely be revealed in the next couple episodes. Although the
main point of this episode is introduce us into the general premise
of the story while also starting the relationship between Raishin and
Charlotte. That next episode it looks like they will be starting the
Cannibal Candy Arc.
