Now it seems that
things have move on from Sorata to Nanami, but that is not the only
focus with it being valentines day. The series tries to advance the
couples that have been already defined. There is Misaki waiting for
Jin to arrive so that she can give him her chocolates, however in the
end he never comes. Then you have Rita that flew all the way from
England to give Ryuunosuke her chocolates. Although after she broke
into his room, Ryuunosuke takes shelter in the bathroom with his
labtop. Then lastly it seems that Sorata relationship with Mashiro
and Nanami is getting more complicated.
Things with the
three are move forward, by using Nanami recital as a catalysis. That
as Nanami recital has gotten closer Mashiro feels that Sorata has
gradually becoming more distant with her. This become more apparent,
when he already had plans to meet up with Mashiro after school.
However when he receives a call from Nanami, that she run into
trouble. It turns out there has been an accident and that the trains
are no-longer running, this also means that the most the people are
willing to do for her is push back her audition. This leads to Sorata
abounding any plans he had with Mashiro to rush off to help Nanami.
Then once he
arrives, he was intending to just give her money for the taxi ride to
get her the rest of the way. However that she not possible since a
lot of other people had a similar idea and a single taxi has yet
arrived. Then with this he intends to give her a ride their on the
bike he borrowed from Miyaharu, that she will get there because he
isn't going to allow her to give up on her dream. Although on the way
there, they practice one last time. Then during this practice Sorata
realize something that Nanami might not be acting that these might be
her real feeling. This shock cause him to stop, and Nanami uses this
opportunity to go the rest of the way on foot.
This brings us
back to Mashiro, he believes that she already went home but there is
a chance that she is still waiting at school. In the end, Sorata
finds her waiting for him on the roof. That here is when she brings
up that he's been treating her different than the others. This makes
it clear to him that she is trying to reach out to him it just that
she doesn't know how. That this ignorance is the only things that
protecting him from having to make a choice between the two. Although
even though he is a bit more aware of Nanami's feeling, the question
is does he even realize what Mashiro feels for him. Things are
drawing closer to the point of no return for Sorata but it looks to
be still a ways away.
