Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka? Of the Dead! - Ep03

Characters

Aikawa Ayumu - He is the series protagonist, in the previous series he was murder by a serial killer. Then latter on brought back to life by Yuu, who is a silent necromancer. Which later on he had the unfortunate luck of meeting Haruna, which latter leaded to him becoming a Masou Shojou (Magical Girl). This all makes him a very complicated and troubled young man, when all he wants is a normal life. That is a little difficult when everything about his life is anything but normal.

Haruna – She is the Mahou Shojou that had her powers stolen by Ayumu when she tried to erase his memories after she chopped him in half in the process of trying to kill a meglo. That currently she is a freeloader that is living in Ayumu's house while waiting for her powers to return, and while she is waiting she has Ayumu work as a substitute Masou Shojou.

Eucliwood Hellsythe - “yuu” - Is the person that resurrected Ayumu, also she is unusual because she doesn't speak or to be more precious she choose not to speak. The reason being is that her very words influence the universe, that if she told someone to die they would. There is also the fact that even after she dies her magic will never fade. This is way her only way of communication is through pen and paper.

Seraphim - “Sera” - Is part of a clan of Vampire-Ninjas, she can to Yuu because she wants her to resurrect their leader. That to this ends she is willing to be Yuu's servant, however Yuu doesn't want her because she already has Ayumu. This leads to her being Ayumu's servant in name only, and decided to live in Ayumu's house until she is able to convince Yuu to resurrect her ninja's clan leader.

Mael Strom - “Yoshida Yuki” - Is from a Ninja clan, that are rival with the Sera's clan. That by an unfortunate accident she ended up kiss Ayumu. That according to Sera Vampire-Ninja's consider kissing someone as being married to them and it doesn't matter if it was intend or not. This makes her association with Ayumu a bit complicated because Sera lives with him and is technical his servant.

Sarasvati – She is from the same Ninja clan as Sera, and what make her interesting is her view on Ayumu. The reason for this is Sera hates him, while Sarasvati is in love with him or more preciously his ass. Which I would think would make for a particular uncomfortable conversation. Also what makes things a bit more interesting is that she is Sera's superior.

Orito – He is Ayumu's friend and classmate, and is mostly regard by others as being generally creepy. While Ayumu tries to take great care to keep him out of his magical life because Ayumu wants to preserve some degree of normalcy in his life.

Taeko Hiramatsu – Is Yuki's friend and Ayumu's classmate, although currently Ayumu doesn't know about her feelings for him. However it would be interesting to see how Ayumu would react if he knew how she felt.

Dai Sensei – She is Haruna's teacher from the magical world, although it appears that her character exists to express Haruna's connection with the magical world. However she does have the occasional interaction with Ayumu.

Kyouko – Is a Mahou Shojou like Haruna but somewhere along the way she ended up getting corrupted.
She was the serial killer in the first season that lead to Ayumu dieing and latter getting resurrected as a zombie. Then in the second season it appears that she holds a great deal of malice for Ayumu, because he is responsible for her imprisonment.

Summary

In the beginning we see that Sera is trying to have a civil conversation with Sarasvati about why she would be in love with Ayumu. The reason is that Sera can't see why someone like Sarasvati would be interested in a low-class piece of trash like Ayumu, who Sera insults on a regular bases. Then before Sarasvati gives her justification she goes through a long winded philosophical speech, that basically means that something in life merely exists that there is no reason to search for meaning. This leads to her giving her reason that she in love with Ayumu because of his ass, this reason shock Sera so much that she can't come up with any sort of response to it.

Then with the strange situation dealt with, it leads to focusing in on the main plot again. Which is seeking someway to get the Chain-saw fixed so that Ayumu can return to some degree of normalcy. However after finding out from Dai-Sensei that the processing of the paper work isn't even a third done. Haruna tries her had at trying to fix it, the interesting question is why didn't she try before. Although after-awhile it appears that she has fixed it, but at times looks can be deceiving. Then when Ayumu tries to use it to fix things, it falls apart leaving him naked again. Then the next morning when Haruna wakes up a sees the state that it is in, she declares that it is in a condition that even she can't fix. This all happen because she didn't tighten the screws, the funny things is that one word from Yuu and it would be fixed.

After this happens the plot continues in another direction, where for some reason Yuki is trying to learn how to be one of Sarasvati's dancer at her concert. That somehow she manage to get Yuki to agree to terms that if she fails, that it will be decide that she is unfit to be a Vampire-Ninja and will be sent back to the village. I can see Sarasvati doing this to get rid of Yuki by dishonoring her as a ninja, which would indirectly invalidate her marriage to Ayumu. That would then mean that she could make a move on him. The strangest thing is why her dance seems to curse everyone that comes near, unless Sarasvati taught her wrong on purpose.

When Haruna she what Yuki is doing she tries to help, but like in most things that Haruna does she just make a bad situation worse. This leads to increase the relative range of the curse, until Ayumu comes upon them and ask them to take a look around to she what they are doing. Then this ends up with Ayumu trying help out by showing them his break dance, to express the proper way to do things. Although doesn't seem to help much, but it does seem to impress Yuki. Then this leads them practicing harder to get it right to prevent Yuki from getting sent home, but it seems like all they are doing is increasing the effectiveness of the curse. On the day of the event, they succeed in curse everyone at the concert. In the end I don't know if you would consider this a success or failure, at the vary least they perfected a new skill.
