Hagare Yuusha No Estetica - ep01

Thing start off with us being place in the middle of the story and having to figure out what is going on. It appears that the maids that are chasing our hero, are not just maids but soldiers as well. It is also interesting how our hero Akatsuki chooses to fight them, by striping them of their underwear. I guess that is one way to eliminate your enemies will to fight. Once Akatsuki has dealt with the maids pursing him, and is almost at the dimensional gate that will return him to his world. He encounters Risty the queen of the demon lord. Although with they way they portrayed them, it also looks like she was trying to keep her lover from leaving her. Then just before Akatsuki leaves he tells her that he will always be there for her she just needs to ask, which alludes to the fact that it is likely he will be back.

When he returns home, we find out what was in the bag he was carrying the entire time. It appears that a girl was inside, what a souvenir to bring home. All joking aside, it seems that when Akatsuki defeated the demon lord he intrusted his daughter to him. Whether this was a last request or not at this point is known. However shortly after their arrival, they get summoned by Babel. Which is a government organization that has jurisdiction over all the children that return from Alazzard. The thing that concerns Miyu the most is that they will find out that she isn't of this world. That they will see through their lie, that she is Akatsuki long-lost sister. In the end, thing go smoothly and they are none the wiser.

Then they move onto practical skill test, Miyu test goes well enough. However when Akatsuki is about to have his, Hikami Kyouya interferes. It turns out that there is some prophecy attached to Akatsuki, that he will become some sort of king. This leads to Kyouya wanting to see Akatsuki's power personally. He goes about testing Akatsuki by first making it appear that he is going to kill Miyu to test Akatsuki's speed. Then to test his strength has him break his pillar of ice, he almost kill Miyu with. They leave with it looking like Akatsuki fail, but just as they exit the pillar shatters. Things end with Hikami Kyouya true intention being revealed that he wants Akatsuki's power for himself. Also there is a bit of foreshadowing by Akatsuki about the true reason that he brought Miyu to his world.
