It was a bit
unexpected with them ending this arc so suddenly, although Tatsuya
end the threat of No-Head Dragon just as quickly as he did Blanche
once he knew the location of their base. Also what we see is his
action against them represent how he wanted to act against Blanche if
the others from the First High School didn't get themselves involved.
This act of revenge for the potential threat that they posed to
Miyuki also shines some light on the nature of their relationship and
why they are so close. That she is the only thing left that he can
feeling anything for so anything or anyone that threatens Miyuki only
one fate awaits them is death.
That with
covertly ending the threat it also shows us the next potential enemy
for the next arc.
That with his
elimination of the head of the branch organization in Japan, Tatsuya
discover the identity of the true leader of the organization in
China. This is important become No-Head Dragon are the main suppliers
of Sorcery Boosters, the reason that the government has such an issue
with them is with how they are made. That Sorcery Boosters are an
unethical uses of magical technology that was created from use parts
of a Magicians brain. That both Japan and the US can't allows such
things to existed so with this information there is potential that
they will deal with this threat directly in the near future.
That with this
the Nine School competition is over, and the only thing left is the
after party. Where Tatsuya and Ichijo are reunited after their
battle, that after he brush aside Tatsuya concern for his health it
final dawns on him that Tatsuya and Miyuki are siblings. Then to
prevent him for making a further issue of it he ask Miyuki to dance
with Ichijo. This allows him to once again recedes to the side lines.
Although this doesn't last long when Honoka ask for a dance which
leads to many more. Until Juumonji confronts him about something he
wishes to discuss with Tatsuya in private.
That with this we
finally see that there are some consequences for his victory over
Ichijo. The reason being is that he is the next head for the Ichijo
clan and it seems that the ten clans can't allow someone able to do
this to be unconnected to them. Which is why the first thing Juumonji
ask him is if he is related to them. Which he denies that he is
even-though he is related to the Yotsuba, but it isn't quite clear on
why he denies this. Then in the response to Tatsuya answer he implies
that in the future he may end up marrying Mayumi or someone else to
bring him into their ranks. That it is something he should think
about. The question is with his showing in the competition how much
longer can he continue to hide his great many secrets and what will
this next arc reveal about Tatsuya.
