Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - ep13

Now the situation at the competition is building because of Tatsuya skill as an engineer. This allow for the First High School to regain some of it's ground that it has been losing when Tatsuya's efforts almost grantee their success. However this get him some unwanted attention from his own school as well as the Third High School. The first problem is that Mayumi wants to put his name down for the developer of the spell that Shizuku used because the school wants to enter it into their database. Although Tatsuya declines this offer on the ground that he can use the spell but his speed isn't fast enough to make it practical that it would be shameful to have his name down as the developer but the real reason is that he need to keep a low profile to prevent people realizing he is Mr. Silver.

The issue that has risen is that the Misaki from the Third High School doesn't believe that the first years got these wins on pure skill alone. That it is likely their successes are the result of an extremely skill engineer, that he has proof of this by the fact that the winner of the shooting competition from the First High School used a CAD that isn't even in production. That they are going to new to watch the up coming matches to try a find out who this engineer is since they can't work on everyone's CAD. However it raise the question of is the Third High School really in league with the No-head Dragon or are they merely benefiting from their actions. Although they do declare the reason for the Syndicates involvement that they want to cook the book by making sure the First High School loses because they can't afford to pay out the winnings in the case that they win. That means that if Misaki is working with the syndicate then they will try and have Tatsuya killed since at the end it was clear that Misaki knows who has been helping the first years win.

The other major point that is brought up is Jun Morisaki's feels of inadequacy and how his fellow blooms are getting close to a weed. This also Lead to the mention of one of the key events that the First High School has to win to get victory is the Monlith Code and it seems that Jun is determined to win it. There is also the major issue that the student council is planing something to raise the scores of the boys, does this mean that Tatsuya is going to compete. That the Monlith Code seems to be the event that is going to determined victory because it is unlikely that Miyuki will fail at Mirage Bat. The interesting question is will their be a direct confrontation between Tatsuya and the Syndicate. The other issue is how much longer can Tatsuya keep his secret.

No Game No Life - ep12

Now with Izuna pulling out her trump card, things lock extremely bad for Kuuhaku because it seems that it is only a matter of time before they lose. However it turns out that this is just another part of their plan because it is to get Izuna in position were Steph could shoot her in the back. This was possible by Steph riding on the back of an npc while also carring out the orders the Sora gave her once her gauge is refill. This was successful because the npc move silently without making a sound and with steph being asleep unit the last moment it allowed for them the hide her until she was needed. That they only thing was to lure Izuna to her location and what better bait than Kuuhaku themselves.

Then with this Kuuhaku wins back the Continent that Steph's Grandfather lost, although we also see the reason why the warbeast took so long in accepting their challenge. That they were busy removing most of their resources from the territory before the game so that even if Elkia won they would get also nothing for their victory and would be force to challenge them again and this time they wouldn't lose. That this leads to them being challenge by their leader of the Warbeast the Miko.

This leads into the amount of trouble that Elkia has cause the Warbeast, that with the elf's spying on the game. That with their loss the elfs are already challenging them to a game, and it seems that the Flugel are now banging on their door as well. That what the Miko is after is a bit of revenge on the Inamity before they are done in by either the elfs or the Flugel. That the game that Sora chooses is a coin toss, but with the coin landing on it's side it means that they both win. Then what the results in is both of their demands being met where the Federation get absorbed into Elkia but the Warbeast keep all their rights. Which basically leads to the merger of the the two countries.

This leads to the explanation of the tenth rule that in someways people would view that it contradicts with the others. The point being that you don't need to dominate conquer the other nations to gather their race piece. The rules are simple you need to gather all sixteen race piece to gain the right to challenge god but you can't take them from the race you need to do it by forming an alliance like Elkia did with the Federation. This also leads to the revealing that they feed the elfs false information about the Warbeast game through Fil by altering her memory, that when they do challenge them they will lose as well. This leads to Kuuhaku meeting with the number one ranked Exceed Old Dues by having Miko summon them through the possession of her body and this foreshadows the next season but the question is when this will happen.

Nobunaga the Fool - ep24

Things progress to their final resolution by returning to the moment that Jeanne was shot, it turns out that she didn't die but it doesn't change the fact that she is dying. That with this act Mitsuhide is aware of Cesare and kill him for his interference, although he is also intending to kill Nobunaga because he got what he need from Jeanne. However things don't go as he hopes with Nobunaga summon the Fool which also him to final meet with King Arthur. This allows to see the true appearance of Arthur which is that of an old man trying to escape death with obtaining immortality and give everyone the world that they dream of. In the end Nobunaga can't accept living in a world that is trapped inside a dream, that truth is preferable over the illusionary world that Arthur promises even if that means that both him and Jeanne are going to die. This refects the Japanese ideology of life that in the end it only has meaning if it can end. That to live is to die, that something that can never die then you can say that it has never live at all only that it existed.

That this meeting concluded Nobunaga has his final battle with Alexanders where they wheld the full power of their planets Shinki. Which turns Nobunaga into a black dragon and Alexander into a golden Dragon. That it is through this conflict that they summon forth the Holy Grail, this also leads us to see Arthur true goal that it wasn't about harmony or immortality it just that he want to be reunited with his lost love but because of Nobunaga's nature as the destroyer-king he destroys the Holy Grail and with it Arthur's dream. Then not long after Arthur is kill in the aftermath of their battle. However now with Alexanders defeat Nobunaga doesn't stop destroying.

That with the battle finished Mitsuhide go to face Nobunaga, and the question him on why he doesn't stop. That wasn't their dream to unite heaven and earth, that if he continues then there will be nothing left. This leads to the final confrontation between Mitsuhide and Nobunaga, that in reality Nobunaga with all his power he could of crushed Mitsuhide in an instant but he doesn't. The reason is that he want Mitsuhide to kill him so that he take the tools of war with him to his grave. That in the end Nobunaga does achieve his goal of uniting Heaven and Earth, but it was never his destiny to rule over it. The greatest irony is that Da'Vinci got the roles reversed that Nobunaga was Judas and Mitsuhide was the savior, that in the end he choose to paint what he wanted in the end. However we do get our happy ending with Nobunaga and Jeanne meeting once again after they have been reincarnated.

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - ep12

Things start out with Leo testing out this new CAD that Tatsuya had built, the question is what large role will this play beyond just expressing what fortification magic can do. That the purpose of the magic is to make things harder to the point that they are unbreakable but to fix their position whether that fixing a boarder to her ride as the case with Mari's race or in the case of this weapon where it is divide into two different parts but moves as if it is one. Now with the emphases that they have been putting on fortification magic it is expect that it going to play a larger role in things to come. It just that we don't what just yet.

Then once they tie up the loose left from last time things take a turn of the worse with Mari's semi-finale race. The reason being is that she is taken out by her fellow competitor that Tatsuya doesn't believe is merely a coincidence. It turns out that a third party has sabotages the race that leaded to removing Mari from the competition not just in this race but the rest of the competition as well from the injures she received. It turns out how it was done is two fold first they knew that Mari and her competitor would be locked in a dead heat that Mari would be in the lead so they tampered with her competitors CAD so that when she went into the turn she would accelerate causing a collision instead decelerating as she should of done. Which normal wouldn't of cause as big of a problem as it did if not for the sudden dip in the water that was cause by a third party. That through Mikihiko Tatsuya was able to confirm that this was done through spirit magic because there are counter measures in place to prevent such things. It is clear that future competition are going to be sabotaged but now that they are aware of they can prepare for it. This lead to two question first is how will No-head Dragon be connected to this also these act of sabotage are very beneficial to the Third High School that is currently trailing behind the First High School in second place. The second question is how will Tatsuya deal with them.

This mishap with Mari has cause other intend coincidences since now Mari cant competed in Mirage Bat and they didn't plan for a back up but they can't afford to not competed in it since it is an official match. This leads to Miyuki being removed from her rookie competition and place in the offical match in Mari's place, which also directly puts her in the cross-hairs of the saboteur. Which ultimately will lead to a confrontation between Tatsuya and this saboteur which is a threat to Miyuki. Although for now the Drama is taking a bit of a back seat with the continuing competition and the start of the rookie events. This also leads to the competitors more careful with their CAD considering the sabotage that happen in Mari's match. What interesting in a lighthearted manner is how Shizuku is trying to hier Tatsuya and is having to find ways to refuses her without telling her that he is already working FLT as Mr. Silver. This raise another problem although not as dark as the other one is that will someone present him with an offer that he has no way to refuse but to reveal his Identity as Mr. Silver.

No Game No Life - ep11

Now with the start of the Warbeast games it leads to the psychological collapse of Sora and Shiro because they believe that they are in Tokyo. However all it takes to bring them back is Ino beginning to explain the rules of the game that brings Sora back, who then in turn brings Shiro back. It seems that the game is a strange mix between dating sim and FPS. This leads to Sora testing the limits of the game by using Steph as an experiment. Now with comprehension of the rules this leads to the game truly being between Izuna and the four of them.

It seem that normally it would be easy to beat the Warbeast at their own game but it seems that Izuna's enhanced sense gives her a bit more of an edge than they were expecting. Then there is a little bit of cheating on the Warbeast side with Ino leaking the challengers location to Izuna. This leads to Shiro writing out this insane math formal to try and find the key variable that will net them victory. In someway it kind of Ironic that now Sora is now trying to win the game without Shiro in the same way that Shiro won Othello by completing Sora's game.

Then as thing turn out that Shiro working for the enemy was a ruse because Shiro want Izuna to disregard her presence. This also created a sense of venerability in Sora when he turns Shiro back. That this is the moment that Ino was waiting on to inform Izuna of so that she could finish the game. Everything seems to come down to the moment the the trap is sprung. They even use Jibril who has been turned to their advantage by bouncing their bullet off hers. Although it is unclear what happen to their rebounded bullet. However it is unlikely that things are just going to end now that that Izuna has just gotten serious. On the other hand things can't continue for much long sense there is only one more episode to go so it should be interesting how they end things.

Nobunaga the Fool - ep23

Now thing progress toward the final battle, but first a few issues have to be resolved. The first being about DaVinci and how he push Mitsuhide to go to King Arthur. Then when he is confronted about it DaVinci reveals to truth about King Arthur's plan to remake the world. That only him and his Prefecta will be able to exist, does this mean that King Arthur himself is neither living nor dead like his Prefecta. The further question is how does the death of the world lead to the truth that DaVinci has been seeking. However the question that isn't ask is that if Nobunaga kills King Arhtur will things be restore to how they were before. This issue is just disregarded and instead they focus on how to get to him. Intially Nobunaga was planing on using Azuchi, but when Hideyoshi reveals what is happening to Himiko they decide on doing things another way by charging directly to the castle with their wargaints.

That in this charge there are a few surprise waiting for them. The first being Alexanders desire for a rematch with Nobunaga but is denied this wish by Hideyoshi. Then as Jeanne and Nobunaga charge ahead they encounter the first two of King Arthur's perfecta, which lead to revealing a bit of truth about them being form by the ash that is making up this world. This also means that since they aren't alive then they can't be killed. However Nobunaga isn't the only one having trouble but Hideyoshi as well. Although he obtain assistance from Kenshin as he returns.

Now in their dire situation Himiko does they only thing that she can to save Nobunaga and that is to use the Azuchi to deliver Nobunaga to his destination. Even-though it means that she is going to use the last of her life to do it. Although Himiko achieves her object Nobunaga never meets King Arthur because in the round table Mitsuhide is waiting Nobunaga not King Arthur. It turns everything was a trap to force Jeanne to declare King Arthur as the Savior-King by threatening Nobunaga's life. That once this is done, Casare shoot her but it doesn't mean that she is dead yet. Although with the way things are going the last two standing will be King Arthur and Nobunaga. Question is how will they end things and what role with Nobunaga's bowl of emptiness play since everything ends next time.

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - ep11

Things start back up with showing us how Tatsuya ended up standing before Mikihiko while he was pursuing these assailants. This leads to Tatsuya criticizing his magic because feels Mikihiko place to large of an emphases on being able to doing everything on his own without any support from anyone else. In turn Mikihiko doesn't take this criticism well, and we see him distancing himself from Tatsuya as a result. This also leads us into Tatsuya's connection to the military and a bit deep into his character in how he see himself in Mikihiko is struggling against something that he has already overcome so he feels a degree of comradery with Mikihiko because of this and he hope to help Mikihiko overcome this the question is Mikihiko willing to accept his assistance.

Then in connection with Tatsuya military service he ends up attending a meeting with the major and his subordinates. This meeting serves multiple purposes, the first being making sure that Tatsuya keeps his identity as mister Silver under-wraps. The second issue is that it brings up the identity of the attackers from yesterday that they were from the No-Head Dragon that they will try something else in the future, although we don't yet know what this might be. The lastly the major suggest that he might end up finding himself competing, however it seems that Tatsuya doesn't think this is likely since he is an engineer. That towards this end the Major reminds him that if he does not to use any classified magic in this public competition.

Then toward the end it is clear that the Major's suspicion might end up coming true since it their school isn't doing as well as they hoped at least the men are not preforming as well as hoped. It appears that it will come down to the results of the first years could end up swing it one way or the other. However right now the focus is on winning four of the six major competitions. This also raise the question on why Tatsuya was building that CAD for, and why did he do since Leo isn't even competing. The other issue is when will Tatsuya get more involved since it is only a matter of time before he is drag further into the events. The real issue is where they are going with this CAD and why did Tatsuya build it now of all times.

Date A Live - ep10

In the final episode of this season it ultimately raised more questions than it answered. First you have Isaac Westcott goal of causing an inversion in Touka just to give Ellen a worthy sparing partner, the issue was there more to it than just that. Then they just leave because Ellen isn't in top shape because of her fight with Origami. Then there is the fact that Isaac called Shido by a different name, it raise the question on what does he know about Shido that he himself doesn't know. Although it brings us the greatest question of all why is Touka so different from the other spirits because she didn't even have a name to began with. There is also this reverse Touka doesn't know of Shido or anything her other self has done, so in a similar way she lack a sense of self that Touka has through her interaction with Shido.

Even-though it has raised all these question the main focus of this finale is bring Touka back to her senses and unfortunately for Shido this Touka isn't interested in Talking things out. Also through the fight with Touka Shido show his worth to Miku by protecting her and showing he is a man of his word unlike all the others that abandoned her. That through this fight it show that Shido is not just able to use Touka's power but Yoshino's power as well. This hints at why Kotori's superiors were afraid of what Shido would become if he was able to use the sealed spirits powers. Anyways as the fight continue the Touka that Shido knows starts rising to the surface which start to suppress this Dark Touka, which cause her to become more agitated. This drives her to be more determined to kill Shido, that in the end he is able to bring Touka back by repeating history in the way that he sealed her power. Now that this Dark Touka is awake doesn't mean she won't be back in the future.

Now that Shido has Touka back the only thing left unfinished is Miku's sealing. Although this doesn't happen until later once some order has been restored to the town and she is going to give an encore performance. That she kiss Shido knowing full well what will happen, she does this because Miku believes in Shido that even if her fans turn on her again Shido will still be there for her. The other reason is because she wanted to, this is clear because of how she has start calling Shido darling. It looks like things are going to become more complicated for Shido with Miku joining his harem. One last thing that isn't resolved is the issue with Kurumi, it seems that she is searching for a sealed spirit. Then there is the question of the truth behind Kurumi is she a inverted Spirit like Touka was are is she like Kotori and Miku a human that became a spirit. This series so nowhere near finished the question is of the Date A Live movie that coming out, the issue is will it continue the story or will it be a rehash of everything that has happen in the past two seasons.

No Game No Life - ep10

Now that Sora's game with Kurami has concluded they move on to the filler episode where we get to learn more about Fil and Kurami. What is interesting with Fil and Kurami joining the group is we learn about the Elf's social structure. That their society use slave labor and this gets to Fil and Kurami's relationship. It seems that Kurami's family has served the Nilvalen clan for generation, and this is how she got to know Fil who was the heiress of the clan at the time and now is it leader. However Fil loves Kurami and hates how her friend is demeaned by the current social structure. This pains her with how they can only act as they wish in private, that she must treat her dear friend as a slave in public. This means that she is fine with anything that Sora is planning as long as nothing he does harms Kurami.

With this out in the open it reveals a bit of the bad blood between Fil and Jibril. It seems when the war was still going on the elves caused Jibril to fall out of the sky and bump her head because of an anti-flying seal that was place of one of their cities. Then in retaliation for this indignity Jibril wipe the city off the map, and it seems that Fil still bears a grudge against Jibril for this insistence. Then as penance Jibril has to lick Fil feet while apologizing. Now that everyone is good to go the fun and games continue with Sora starting the obligatory bathing scene. That it is just more fun and games as things build up to the next event the actual start of inanity's game against the Warbeast.

It seems that through the starting of these game we get to see some of the motive behind Sora's action. First is why he need Kurami and Fil on his side is because he need a way to prevent the Warbeast from overtly using magic. Then there is the spurning of his citizens he wants them to be suspicious of him and the possibility that he might throw the game because he is work for the Warbeasts. Now with thousands of eyes watching them this will make cheat far more difficult for them but as Sora has stated before as long as it is not impossible to win then Kuuhaku will not lose. Now as the game starts Sora and Shiro fall apart with finding themselves in a world remarkably similar to Tokyo. It will be interesting to see what the rules of this game are and how Kuuhaku will pull themselves together.

Nobunaga the Fool - ep22

Now with the death of Ichihime everyone is grieving in their own way. However it seems that her death has hit Nobunaga harder than the death of his father and brother. This in way shakes his resolve because all he now see is that he's brought death and destruction. That in the end he only shows how much he has lost when he is alone, and as he is consumed by his grief Jeanne catches a glimpse of him. This leads to her embracing Nobunaga to give him some support when he needs it the most as he has supported her so many times. Then as she is doing this he see something inside the bowl of emptiness, it actually be that this bowl is truly the holy grail that King Arthur seeks and if so is this the foreshadowing that will bring about Nobunaga's victory. In the end wether it be Jeanne support or what he glimpse inside the bowl Nobunaga has regain his lost spirit and is ready to continue the fight.

Also you have the second person that is truly devastated by the lost of Ichihime, Mitsuhide. It seems that he largely blames Nobunaga for her death, and the news that Nobunaga is the Destroy-King leads him to question whether this is a man he should continue to follow. This is complicated by his vision of himself from our reality where he is leading a charge against Nobunaga, that historically speaking Mitsuhide kills Nobunaga but will thing play out the same for this world Mitsuhide. That in his desire to quell his doubts on whether he should kill Nobunaga or continue to follow him he seeks out Da Vinci. That this leads Da Vinci to speak of why he left the west, was so that he could gain perspective because if you are to close to something it prevent you from seeing things as they are. This leads to further question on King Arthur and if he is truly the Savior-King. However Da Vinci can't answer this because he was never allowed to meet him. Things end with Mitsuhide choosing to see King Arthur himself, but before he goes Mitsuhide pulls one of Da Vinci's card and he gets the devil. The question is who is the Devil himself, Nobunaga, or King Arthur although Mitsuhide believe it represents himself because of his mask. However once Mitsuhide meets King Arthur it doesn't take him long to sway him because King Arthur always tells the person what they most want to hear.
