This time around there are quite a few
thing that are revealed. The first issue that is explained is the
fact that Hakaze is dead, and it turns to be quite a contradiction.
Since she is able to communicate with Yoshino and Mahiro, that would
mean that she is a ghost. However for that to work it would go
against the natural logic that Genesis protects. However what was
shown to Junichiro was not a corpse but a skeleton, so there is
potential that Samon was trying to trick Junichiro. Although there is
another issue that is brought up in relation to her death, that Samon
had to have her die by natural causes because the genesis tree didn't
want her to die. However it doesn't explain what the reality of
Hakaze situation, and if she is already dead than what is to point of
trying to disrupt Samon's plan.
Then second point that they go into is
the importance of Junichiro, because he holds political power of the
clan as being the current head. That if Samon was lying then there
could have been a deeper reason on why he would want to get Hakaze
out of the way other than fear of her power. Although the interesting
thing is that even-though Junichioro isn't a magician, he is strong
enough to keep the rest of the clan in check. Which in turn makes him
into a bit of a wild card by him being neutral, that he has taken
no-ones side. That he is just letting them fight among themselves.
Although with Samon's minions trying to persuade him into taking a
side, it may Junichiro to indirectly side with Hakaze.
Then there is the fact that Yoshino is
doing things behind Mahiro's back because he feels that he is focus
too much on his own goals. This leads him into give aid to this
military faction that has worked along side the Kusaribe clan to keep
magic hidden from the world. This leads us to find out what sort of
deal Yoshino made with Yamamoto, that he would give them information
in return of support. While it seems like it is not a true alliance
because each party has there own objective, they are more of using
each other to achieve there own ends. Which means anything really can
break this fragile partnership. Particularly with Mahiro being
ignorant to what is going on behind his back.
The last fact that gets reveal is that
of Mahiro's relationship with Aika, that they weren't related by
blood. That to everyone else Mahiro had felt more than just brotherly
love for his sister, but Yoshino makes it seem like Mahiro himself
wasn't aware of his feelings. That could also explain why he was so
overly protective of Aika because he want her for himself. However
this brings into question what will happen when the truth about
Yoshino's relationship with Aika gets revealed to him. Things are
really starting to get rolling with all these different faction
moving to achieve their own personal goals, the questions remains
what is going to happen when they clash.
