Episode – 08 characters

Matsuda & Motohama – They are Hyoudou Issei's friends from mid-school, on graduation they decide to enroll in Kuou Academy because they just change from an all girls school to co-ed. The reason they want this is that there would be high population of women to men, so that they could fulfill their dream of having a harem.

Kiba Yuuto – Is extremely popular with all the girls, and because of this he is envied by Issei, Matsuda, and Motohama. Although it seems that he will play a larger role later on.

Rias Gremony – Is the President of the Occult Research Club, and another key character in the story. However for some deeper reason she has been keeping a close eye on Hyoudou Issei.

Hyoudou Issei – Is overtly perverted, and has some strange dream about being a harem king. Which if you ever watch Yu-Gi-Oh, the joke that the writer is making is quite apparent. Although after he dies he has a slight change of heart. It will be interesting how much he maturates over the course of the series.

Himejima Akeno – She is the Vice-president of the Occult Research Club, and her personality is a refection of the Yamato Nadeshiko “Ideal Japanese Woman”. Although other than this not much is revealed.

Toujo Koneko – First year student at this part of the Occult Research Club, and is classified as a loli character that is popular with men and woman.

Ashia Argento – She is a nun that has recently moved into the city that Issei lives in, but the strange thing is that, the only church in town doesn't have a Priest so no-one see a point in going there. Other than this brief introduction not much more is given out about her.

Freed Serzen – Is the Priest that works for the strange church in town, although he is a very violent person. That doesn't seek so save the soul of the people that make contracts with devils but seeks to kill them before they can make them. It appears that the reason the priest is so strange is that he works for the fallen angles.

Shitori Souna – She is the leader of another group of devils at the school called Sounashitori. Also she is the president of the student council, it appears that everyone that join her family has to become part of the student council. There is also the fact that she is the childhood friend of Rias Gremony.

Shinga Tsubaki – She is the vice-president of the student council, which means that it is likely that she was is Souna's Queen. Although anything more isn't really known

Saji genshiro – It appears that he will be Issei rival of sorts, he was also a pawn. However he was only made with half as many pawns as Issei was. He doesn't like the idea that he is simliar to issei in any way.

Rassei – Is Ashia familiar, although because of it's behavior for hating everyone but it master. Is going to make things difficult for Issei in the future because it will probably electrocute Issei often.

Grayfia – She is the queen of Sirzechs, like Akeno is Rias's Queen. The other things is the question is who Sirzechs is, and that very simple. He is Rias brother.

Rizer phoenix – Is a jerk and a womanizer, also he is the heir to the phoenix clan. It also appears that he is Rias fiancee, even so he doesn't care that she doesn't like him. He just see her as an opportunity to obtain greater power, as well as another conquest.

Episode – 08 Summary

This episode for the most part is a bit confusing because until the end of this episode you are unable to see where they are going with everything. That in the beginning you think it might be one of the episode that is just done for pointless fun. Things start out with Issei marrying Rias with no transition or set-up at all, which is a bit confusing. Although even-though this is surprising for issei he end up just going with the follow of things. This then leads to things getting even stranger when a voice talks to him but no-one is there, but before he wakes from this dream he realize the voice is the boosted gear. Which is another event that shows another connection with another series, which is zero no Tsukaima where Saito's sword talk to him though-out the series.

Then after this starting realization that his sacred gear is alive and can communicate with him. The scene changes to school where he announce to his friends that he is tried from not being able to sleep because of his strange dream last night. They say if it is erotic than it is worth hearing about, then Ashia apologies for not realizing this. That if she did, she would of gone to wake him up sooner, upon hearing this his friends get jealous over his relationship with Ashia. That he should be a good friend and introduce them to some of the woman that he knows and in return they will show him a special V.I.P. Spot that they know about.

Then when his friends take him to this special V.I.P. Spot it turns out that it is inside one of the lockers inside that girl's locker room. However unfortunate turn of event happens when it appears that the locker that Issei is hiding inside is Koneko's locker. Which cause her to beat him black and blue. Which later leads to Ashia treating Issei in the clubroom, while complaining to Issei that if he want to see someone naked all he had to do was ask her. Which cause Rias to comment on the fact that Issei has already seen her naked a few times. Then once this uncomfortable situation ends and they head-home for the day. Akeno and Rais have a discussion on the situation with Issei that all of his clients are happy but he is still failing as a devil because none of them make a request. That the question is what are they going to do about this proud failure.

Then later when Issei is at home completing about the days events while taking a bath, suddenly Issei decide that to relax he needs to take a bath. Although unknowingly Ashia is already in there taking one. When Issei tries to be polite and leave Ashia stops him by saying that she heard a Japanese rule about when two people bathe together they strengthen their bond. However before anything can happen his mother see them both naked together in the bathroom. Which then leads to Issei going to his room and meditate to have pure thoughts about Ashia. Which is an interesting contraction, a pervert trying to become pure. However the same thing that always happens to Ashia when she prays to god, happens to Issei when to tries to obtain enlightenment. Then after his failed attempt to become pure Rias appears and ask for Issei to take her virginity. Which brings to the point that they have been brushing over for a while, and that is Rias doesn't like the person is engaged to. In a effort to prevent this she tries to have Issei take her virginity. Although because Issei was a bit slow on the up-take Grayfia stops Rias before she can carry through with her plan.

This matter is continue the next day when everyone is gathered. This leads to Rizer appearing, who is Rias fiancee. Although Rias hates him, what interesting is how Issei seem to hate him more considering the fact that he has achieved Issei Ideal of having a harem. Which leads credibility to the idea that, he doesn't really desire that for himself. That for him it exist as more of an ideal. Anyways this leads to a conflict between Issei and Rizer. Which cause Grayfia to announce that Sirzechs, figure that something like this would happen and an alternative has been planned. That is Rias and Rizer will have a rating game. Although we don't know that this all entails yet but it will probably lead us to the end of the season of the series.
