High School DxD - Episode 06

Episode – 06 characters

Matsuda & Motohama – They are Hyoudou Issei's friends from mid-school, on graduation they decide to enroll in Kuou Academy because they just change from an all girls school to co-ed. The reason they want this is that there would be high population of women to men, so that they could fulfill their dream of having a harem.

Kiba Yuuto – Is extremely popular with all the girls, and because of this he is envied by Issei, Matsuda, and Motohama. Although it seems that he will play a larger role later on.

Rias Gremony – Is the President of the Occult Research Club, and another key character in the story. However for some deeper reason she has been keeping a close eye on Hyoudou Issei.

Hyoudou Issei – Is overtly perverted, and has some strange dream about being a harem king. Which if you ever watch Yu-Gi-Oh, the joke that the writer is making is quite apparent. Although after he dies he has a slight change of heart. It will be interesting how much he maturates over the course of the series.

Amano Yuuma – She is the girl that asks Issei out early in the episode, although you would have to ask what kind of respectable woman would date a known pervert. However the reason is later revealed.

Souna – There isn't much that we know about her other than she is close to Rias Gremony or at least the gremony family.

Himejima Akeno – She is the Vice-president of the Occult Research Club, and her personality is a refection of the Yamato Nadeshiko “Ideal Japanese Woman”. Although other than this not much is revealed.

Toujo Koneko – First year student at this part of the Occult Research Club, and is classified as a loli character that is popular with men and woman.

Dounashiki – He is the second fallen angle that Issei ran into in the first episode, since they name him. It is likely that he will be making a second appearance.

Ashia Argento – She is a nun that has recently moved into the city that Issei lives in, but the strange thing is that, the only church in town doesn't have a Priest so no-one see a point in going there. Other than this brief introduction not much more is given out about her.

Freed Serzen – Is the Priest that works for the strange church in town, although he is a very violent person. That doesn't seek so save the soul of the people that make contracts with devils but seeks to kill them before they can make them. It appears that the reason the priest is so strange is that he works for the fallen angles.

Mystel – Is another one of the fallen and nothing more in-depth was given. Although she isn't very important since she dies in the fifth episode.

Episode – 06 Summary

In the aftermath of Issei rescuing, it made Rias realize two important things. The first is that Issei is incredibly weak that if Reinare wasn't underestimating Issei he would of never have won in the first place. Another important point on top of this fact is that his Scared gear my strength him, it is still dependent on how much base-level strength he does have. Which is why starting immediately she has him begin training by getting up at 5 o'clock in the morning. The other reason for this is that in the demon world the weakest are always the first to be eliminated.

The second fact that she has to deal with is where is she going to have Ashia live from now on. Although to solve this problem she is going to have Ashia live with Issei because she can't continue to live in the Club-room. If you think about it, when she first meet Issei she was going to live at the church now that she is a devil she can't really live at the church anymore now can she. However the reasoning that Rais gives to Issei's parent is that the school selected them for Ashia home-stay. In the begging Issei's parent are against the idea of having a young woman live under the same roof as their pervert son. However upon hearing about how Issei has been looking after Ashia, and how she really is indebted to Issei for all the things that he has done for her since she has arrived. They completely agree when Rais suggest about having it be a practice “Haneyome” training, this makes his parents overjoyed because they don't believe that they would get grand-children from a son like this. Ultimately this resolves the issue about where Ashia is going to live.

This then leads us to the fact of seeing how Ashia will fit into her new daily life as a devil. Things get started off with her introduction into Issei's class that it appears that somehow Rais manage to get Ashia to join the same class that Issei is a part of. Straight off the bat she is accepted by the class, and once the girls in the class find out that she is going to be staying with Issei they give her various warnings about how she needs to be careful around him. While Issei's friends are angry with him because he didn't inform them about any of this at all. Although at night they pass-out the papers together with Ashia riding on the back of his bike. Currently is seems like Ashia is happier as a devil in her new life, than she ever was as a human.

In continuing with Ashia new life, Issei is concerned about what sort of request someone might make that Ashia would be forced to fulfill, since she as yet to respond to a request yet. In an attempt to protect her he volunteers to do them so that no-one could force her to do anything that she doesn't want to do. Although like Issei previous request he gets involve with another anime obsessed person which ends up in another fail wish request. Which he is getting depressed that he is always letting down Rais. Which leads to her accompanying Issei on his next wish request.

Although this person appears to be another strange person because they have decorated it to look like something out of the sengoku jidai (period of warring states). The request is that this woman that is dressed from head-to-toe in Japanese armor wants to make a confession to a man she is depply in love with but is too shy to convey her feeling, so Issei suggest having her write a love letter. However she writes in very strange way and sends it off on a yagumi (arrow message). Things get even funnier when she goes out to meet this person it is like they are meeting before going to war. How ever thing end well for her and feeling are reciprocated by the man dressed in western armor. One important thing to note through this whole request fulfillment is that Rias has been lamenting her own love life and the nature of love. Which I fell is some sort of foreshadowing on future events. Even-though things end with Issei fulfilling his first request.

Notes

Haneyome – Is what in western society would view as someone that is going to be your wife. Although in Japanese Society it is more about a woman marring into your family and the woman learn about how to preform her duties after being married. The Idea behind is that the woman isn't just marring the man but marring into the family, which demand the strengthening of bonds with the entire family and not just the man you will end up marring, because it is also view as strength one's family.

Yagumi – Is what it looks like a letter tie to an arrow and fire at the person you want to receive it. This was a classic way opposing general communicate to each other during sengoku jidai without ever actually ever having to meet face to face. It is also use in sending a challenge to someone your about to engage in battle.  

Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai - Episode 06

Episode – 06 characters

Segawa yuuta – Is a freshman in college, and is getting settled into his new life. His choose field of study for his major is Japanese literature. Also it appears that he has a complicated family because he was raised by his sister.

Oda Raika – She is viewed as a strange person because of the only person that she is know to spend time with is the Sightseeing Club President Sako. Where when she was a freshman she was extremely popular, however now in her second year of college as a Liberal Arts Major she is view as an outcast because of her strange behavior of not knowing how to deal with people.

Sako – He is the Sightseeing Club president, and is well known for his perverted nature. Also one thing in-particular is that he has a fetish for young girls meaning that he is a pedophile.

Nimura – Is a member of the Sightseeing club and it appears that he will be a close friend to Yuuta. Although for some strange reason he never really sleeps at his apartment but has women use it in his stead although for some reason he sleeps over at Yuuta's place but in return he pays for the food.

Sora – She is the Eldest Sister, and is from Shingo's first wife. Also another point to note is that for some reason she is deeply in-love with Yuuta her uncle who is the brother of her fathers thrid wife.

Miu – She is the middle child and is from Shingo's Second wife. While at this point it doesn't seem like she is in love with him like her elder sister, this still doesn't mean that she isn't fond of him.

Hina – She is the youngest sister, and of the three sister the only one that is of blood relation to Yuuta. It also appears that Yuuta hasn't had much interaction with her because of his dislike of Shingo because he married his sister when he had to daughter already.

Shingo – He is the husband of Yuri, Yuuta's sister. Also it appears that when he married her he brought with him two children from previous marriages. However we don't know if they end in divorce or death of his previous wives.

Yuri – Is Yuuta's sister and the third wife to Shingo. Also see wish for her whole family to exist as a whole and not have Yuuta create this barrier between them just because he doesn't like Shingo.

Atarashi Kurumi – Is Yuuta's next door neighbor, it appears that her occupation is that of a voice actress. She plays a part in Lunaluna 7 which is Hina's favorite show.

Episdoe – 06 Summary

When they are getting ready for bed a conversation get started between his niece that they want to go visit there old house. The reason for this is that in their rush to leave Yuuta's niece had to leave a lot of thing behind. This is brought up because tomorrow Yuuta will be off work so that make the trip back to their old home possible, but Yuuta is a bit reluctant because the Takanashi have possession of the property. They are from Shingo's side of the family while also they believed that Yuuta was unprepared for taking all three of his niece. Although since they all have something that they want to get from the house he really has no choice but to agree.

Then as they are leaving for the train station the next day, Yuuta begins to see how popular Hina is with the locals. That apparently she is so popular when she goes shopping with her sisters they get a special discount because they can't helping being happy around her. Although when he arrives at train station he receives a call from Sako, however he isn't sure if he want to answer it while he is around his niece. The reason being is if he can help it he never wants them to ever meet, but Hina force him to answer it because it is annoying her. Even-though he does answer it Sako greets him in a bit forceful manner stating that since they are both free why doesn't he just come over. Then just as Sako finish the announcer a the train station announce the arrival of the train. This forces Yuuta to hang-up the phone and rush on the train before Sako can find him. Although he does know that Yuuta is at the universities train station, he doesn't know where he was heading so at least for now Yuuta is safe. Although it seems like a forgone conclusion that Sako is going to meet his niece and there is nothing that he can do to stop it.

Once they get off the train the journey is mostly uneventful, except for the fact that Miu and Sora ran into some of the people that they know from school. This is a good opportunity for them to catch up with some of the people that they haven't see since the start of summer vacation. While they are doing this Yuuta and Hina head onto the house. Then shortly after they enter and Yuuta turns on the electricity, Miu and Sora arrive. This is where his niece go their own separate ways to look for what they want to bring with them. While this also gives Yuuta an opportunity to get some rest because of all the double shifts that he has been pulling has taken it toll on his body.

While this is happening we flash over to Sako and Raika interageting Nimura for information on where Yuuta might have been heading. Although I'm kind of interested in how they many to hang him upside down, without him putting up a fight. Although in the sort of peridicment that he is in I wouldn't even believe if he could actual come up with a lie. It seems like Yuuta's day of recking is come quite soon. With this done we flash back to Yuuta and his niece that are finishing their preparation to go back to his apartment the next day. Which only leave for them to settle in for the night. Although what is interesting that now that they have all this space to themselves they just can't seem to settle down. Which it results in them sleep in the same way they have been at Yuuta's apartment. Then as they leave the next day, he reminds them to take the picture of their family that they were thinking are taking with them but were holding back on. That to remember no-matter how hard thing get they still have a family that loves them and they are still together.

Nisemonogatari - Episode 06

Episode – 05 characters

Araragi Koyomi – Is the star of the show, he was a vampire but now he is human again but not completely. Although this makes him almost immortal with how fast he heals, also the pseudo-vampire that original turned him now lives in his shadow.

Senjougahara – She is the first girl that he helped in the previous series, and she is his current girlfriend. They started to become closer after he helped her to get her weight back from the weight god that original took it. Although when it took her painful memories it took her weight with it because “omoi” means both memories and physical weight.

Hanekawa – Is the fifth girl that he helped in the previous series, that her problem came from the sawari-neko. Which according to the write is one of the legendary cat-demons along with neko-mata “twin tail cat” and bake-neko “monster cat”. The sawari-neko lives inside the person and when the suffer from too much stress, it manifest itself to relieve the problem.

Sengoku – Is the forth girl that he helped, she was suffering from jagari-nawa which was a snake curse. Where it cause an invisible snake to bind the person body then once it reaches their neck it kills them. It turns out that she was curse because she turn down a boy that asked her out.

Hachikuji – Is the second girl in the previous series that he helped. It turns out that she wasn't actually a person but a ghost that is an earth-bound spirit that cause people to lose their way. Although it is also called a snail because people that follow it just endless go around in circles. That the only way to save it is by having it go somewhere that isn't mapped out.

Araragi Karen – She is the older of Koyomi's two sisters, Koyomi make a point of mentioning the fact of that she has a natural talent for karate. That she presents herself in a way that reflect her aggressive nature, and doesn't go about hiding it like her younger sister.

Araragi Tsukihi – She is the younger of Koyomi's two sisters, although from his perspective she uses her womanly charm to hide her aggressive nature. Instead of presenting out there for all to see like her elder sister.

Kanbaru Suruga – Is the third girl that he helped in the previous series. Although her problem was that she made a contract with a lesser demon called the rainy devil. Which once it grants your wish it takes your soul. Then because Kanbaru hated Araragi for being able to get close to Senjougahara so easily. Kanbaru wish for him to die. Although Araragi set things in motion Senjougahara made so that the rainy devil couldn't fulfill the wish because after Suruga kill Koyomi, Senjougahara would kill her thous invaliding the wish and saving Kanbaru's soul.

Kaiki Deishuu – He is a man that Araragi first meets outside of Kanbaru's mansion. Although during this meeting he uses his name to define himself. The first kanji “Kai” like a mountain of clam-shells, and the second kanji “Ki” like a dead tree. While comparing Araragi's name to his own by saying he is a dead tree but Araragi is a sapling. The last thing that is noted is that he is similar to oshino-san but at the same time possesses an ominous foreboding.

Oshino Meme – Is an important character in the Bakemonogatari story is because he is the one that helped Araragi with his vampirism, as well as helped him save all the other girls in the previous series. That be became less important until he finally leaves, to important of this fact is that he was preparing Araragi to be able to face these things without his help.

Oshino Shinobu – Is the vampire that attack Araragi Koyomi, and with Oshino's help she was defeated by using the Sawari-neko that lives inside of Hanekawa. That currently she lives inside of Araragi Koyomi's shadow, and they have a love hate relationship.

Episode – 06 Summary

It turns out the result from last episode wasn't as promising as Koyomi hoped for but it did achieve some results. That being that with his vampire powers he was able to consume half of the poison but not all of it. Although his healing abilities are keeping it the poison from completely effecting him it is still having some effect. However he intents to go for a walk to distance himself from his irritating siblings. Along the way he runs into Hachikuji which he complains about his immature sisters, and ask her when she thinks that a person becomes an adult. Her answer provides two different view points. One is legally you become an adult once you reach a certain age you become an adult, which suggest that when you age enough you automatically become an adult because it is a forgone conclusion. The other option suggests that you can mentally mature fast enough that you could be an adult even before you reach an age in which society considers you one. This conversation comes to an end when he reaches the turn-off to Senjougahara's place. Which appears the whole reason for the walk was so that he could get more information on Kaiki from Senjougahra.

It turns out that as Koyomi enters Senjougahara's place, that she is preparing for war with Kaiki. The she intends to out right kill him by trying to make it look like an accident. Although I don't think stabbing a person with a thousand pencil could ever be consider an accident. In this Araragi is shock and doesn't think this sort of action is appropriate, even if it is against some one you viewed that they destroyed your family. That killing someone for justice isn't right in the eyes of the law, and he doesn't want to see his girlfriend end up in jail because of it. That he would prefer that they deal with this together, so that she can put her past behind her. While also he needs to see Kaiki about the fire-bee so that he can cure Karen because he doesn't think he will be able to do what he did again. It turns out that Senjougahara knows how to get in contact with Kaiki that she has a time set-up to meet him at 5:00 pm. That they will go together then to deal with him, that it would be best for him to go home a get some rest since Kaiki isn't the type of person you can easily deal with.

Then once Koyomi get home he finds out from Tsukihi that Karen got up and went to search for Kaiki. He ask her if she might know where she is but she doesn't. That she is panicking because she believe that there is no-way that Karen could be well enough to deal with this. Koyomi tells her that he will look for her but he doesn't want Tsukihi to come with because Karen will probably convince her to go along with any idea that she has, that it would be best for her to remain at home. In Koyomi's frantice search for his sister, he ends up waking up Shinobu. She tells him to order her to find his sister that she would be able to since there blood would be similar. Koyomi feels that he does having any right to order Shinobu to do anything. Her response to this is that she was asking him to order her to do this for the sake of her saving face. Once he realize this the episode ends with him ordering Shinobu to find his sister for him.

Brave 10 - Episode 06

Episode – 06 characters

Isanami – She is the sole survivor of the Izumo shrine, also it appears that she has some strange power that she doesn't even know that she has. Another thing to point out is that her name is vary similar to the goddess in the Japanese creation myth. It wouldn't surprise me if they have her end of being the reincarnation of Izanami.

Kirigakure Saizou – He is the other real major character in this story. Also from the way he act, it like he has a great many secrets to hide. Like how he says that he is a samurai while in fact he is an Iga ninja. It also appears that he has some sort of connection with Isanami by how he is able to calm her down. There is also his unexplained hatred for feudal lords.

Sarutobi Sasuke – He is a Koga Ninja, and this is what leads to the conflict between him and Saizou because in Japanese his the Koga and Iga ninja's have a long standing rivalery. It also seems that for some reason the koga ninja's under his command are surving Sanada Yukimura.

Sanada Yukimura – His is Lord of Ueda Castle, it also appears that he is renown for his intelligence and integrity. Also it seem that he is seeking to draw ten great warrior to his side to equal his equal great fingers, before he can go to war.

Rokurou – He is a mysterious figure that is helping Yukimura in his ambition. Although it appears that it will be awhile before we learn more about him.

Ana – She is a childhood friend of Saizou, although he dislikes how clingy she is. Further more Isanami doesn't much care for her because she feels that she is going to take Saizou away from her. Also she is now working for Yukimura after trying to kill him and failing.

Hattori Hanzou – Is the one that burned down the Izumo shrine, and is working for Tokogawa Ieyasu. Although we don't know at this point what part he will play, even though he is a renown historical figure. However the one thing we do know is that he will be back for Isanami.

Kakei Juuzou – Is a Samurai in service to Yukimura, and he specialize in juujitsu (fighting with guns). He is also extremely conservative and believes that Isanami's behavior towards Saizou is highly inappropriate. That it would only be acceptable if they were married.

Yuri Kamazuke – Is a bandit that is encountered on their way to Izumo, although he is not really interested in stealing. The thing he wants the most is to find someone the kill, because only on the edge of life and death does he truly feel alive.

Date Masamune – Is the ruler of Oushuu, and is an ally of Tokugawa Ieyasu. He is searching for kushi-mitama which are fragments of a god's soul. That he believes if he gets them all he will became a god and this is the reason he is after Isanami.

Miyoshi Seikai Nyuudou – He is apparently the brother of Isanami, although they are not related by blood. It is just the fact that they are both orphans what where taken in by the head priest, also he is the one that found Isanami at the entrance to the temple. Also the only reason he is still alive is that he left on a journey to become a monk, and now believes that Shinto and Buddhism are the same.

Episode – 06 Summary

In the beginning they first believe that Yukimura was kidnapped, but it appears that he left a letter with Sasuke saying that he and Rokurou went to the hot springs. Although everyone went there to look for him however when they got there everyone went their own separate ways to do their own thing. In the end Saizou is the only one really looking for Yukimura, but in his search he runs into Kakei who come flying out of the wall. It turns out that he was sent flying by a monk he was having an argument with about him eating and running, which turns into a silly and pointless. Although it leads to the point about the monk that he is looking for his sister. However because Kakei is unable to let the issue with the food go he ends up pick a fight with this monk and coincidentally drags Saizou into his problem.

Then as the fight begins kakei point his gun at the monk but the monk hits it so hard into the ground that he bends the barrel of the gun. Although now because Kakei is now useless Saizou has to protect him. What disturbs Saizou is not the fact that Kakei is mumbling to himself about his broken gun but by the fact that Kakei has name the gun Saya like it was his girlfriend. Then as the fight continues, he realize that the monk is so strong that he can't even be cut. Then at this point Yuri joins the fight because he just wants someone to fight. However he quickly proves how useless he is because he is not all that much stronger that Kakei who is now mumbling to himself. Then Sasuke joins the fight but Saizou tries to warn him that the he won't be able cut him but his advice falls on deaf ears. The finally Ana shows up but is unwilling to help because the monk is dirty. The Saizou realize that the monk only has one weak point and that is his head because he has no muscles there, which ends the fight.

The just as Miyoshi forfeits the fight to Saizou, Izanami shows up and it appears that she is his long lost sister. Although it seems that she doesn't remember him but as he tries to hug her Sasuke gets in the way and block Miyoshi from reaching his sister. He then asks what is wrong with siblings hugging, then as this is happening she runs to Saizou for protection. However Miyoshi isn't to happy with her getting close to Saizou, but Saizou realize what is going on and use Miyoshi over-protectiveness of his sister against him by having Isanami repeat something for him. That he is embrassing her that she will not listen to anything he has to say until he cleans up his mess. Once things are resolved and they meet up with Yukimura to discuss the current situation they are in, it is found out that Isanami arn't really related by blood but they were both raised by the head-priest. In understanding this Yukimura agrees to let the monk to stay with him so that he can be with his sister by saying that he may be strange but he isn't a bad person.

This leads us to the original intent of the trip, enjoy a day at the hot springs. Although this also end in various forms of mishaps with Yukimura trying to find out whether Yuri is a man or a woman. Things then get a bit stranger when Sasuke enter the bath with all his animals, and complains to Sasuke about he can't have his animal in here. Although Sasuke counters with the fact that the hot springs exist with-in their territory, and the ask Yukimura to make the final decision on who is right but it turns out that he has sneaked over to the woman's side but Ana and Isanami scream at him for being over there this cause Miyoshi to jump over the divider to protect his sister but this result in both Miyoshi and Yukimura getting frozen by Ana. The craziness final ends with a bit of illusion to the fact that Yukimura has received an invitation from the Tokugawa.
