Hitsugi no Chaika Avenging Battle - ep04

Now that everyone is on the island divided. First there is Chaika and Fredrica have been separated when they crash on the island. That after this happened it doesn't take long for Chaika to be captured. Then there is red Chaika's group that has remained together, that her assistance's magic the easily make it up the cliff. Although this also allow them to easily to be detected by the enemy and captured. That Toru and Akari remain undiscovered because of their stealth and lack of magic. Then by evading the demi-humans they come across a clue to Chaika's loctation. That to this end Toru follows them while Akari continue to search around the forest eventually running into Fredrica who still has Chaika's coffin.

That the major focus is on the fate of all the people that landed on the island. The other main issue is the truth about Chaika. That some of this is discovered when Toru invades the enemy base to find and free Chaika. That in their escape the come across the Kraken, the tells them the source of magic as well as Gaz's intent with the Chaika's is the destruction of everything. That the truth is further explored when Toru and Chaika are capture by the demi-humans. That when both Chaika are brought before Izhmash, he explains the truth about them. That Gaz never had a daughter, that all the girls that pursue Gaz's remains were war orphan that were gather together and experiment on giving them false memories. That when the awaken they pursue the purpose that they were programed for, that nothing they do is of their own choosing. However this raises the question of who was the Chaika that was executed along with Gaz, since the current Chaika's were made after the war ended. Also who is really Guy and what all does he know. Then lastly what is the girl in the test tub and what is her connection with the Chaika's. It seems more that is answer more questions it creates, that with this truth will the two Chaika now join forces. There is also the issue of what Chaika will do now since she know the truth.

Trinity Seven - ep04

Now with the school has been rebuilt, class can begin again. However things are not that simple since as Lilith and Arata enter the classroom everyone's asleep. This cause Arata to suggest that everyone is boycotting her class but with the appearance of Levi it seem to suggest that it is something else entirely. It turns out that an breakdown phenomenon is affecting Yui and it is through her that almost everyone is being force asleep. Reason behind why this is happening is because of she did to save Arata, that her time with him cause her to cause her magic to go out of control causing this breakdown phenomenon. That in the end the real issue isn't what is causing the phenomenon but the fact that Mira and Akio will kill Yui in their desire to stop it. That Arata and the others will have move fast to stop them.

This crisis also allows for Arata to learn more about magic. First of making the artifact isn't as simple as when Arata first attempted it because it appears that was a simple fulk. There is also the issue of he won't be able to copy another persons magic unless he understand what goes into it. Lastly you have the issue that the spells need to be register for you to be able to use them. That all of this is being explained as they are traveling to Yui room in the labyrinth. That Levi needs to have Arata learn how to use his magic before they reach Yui since he is the only one that can save her. Although interestingly enough the two groups reach Yui's room at the same time. Why this is interesting is because Arata's group went through the labyrinth while Akio and Mira just broke through wall to reach their destination.

Then to prevent Akio from making a move on Yui, Levi stays behind to hold them off the give Arata enough time to help Yui. Although thing don't go as plan because of the dragon that is near Yui resonates with Arata causing his power to go out of control. Which ultimately cause Levi and Akio to stop their fight so that they can deal with the dragon since it is the larger threat. That with this it allows for Levi to take Arata off to the side so that he can get himself under control so that he can face the dragon. What helps Arata is that Levi mentions that he will have to face something like this eventually if he hopes to save his cousin. Also what help him further is Levi explaining the nature of Thema is usually the furthest thing from you. That with this Arata hardens his resolve and face the dragon, and defeats it in a single hit. That with the dragon's defeated the breakdown phenomenon is eliminated with out Akio or Mira being force to kill Yui. The question now is what is Yui going to do now that she is awake.  

Madan no Ou to Vanadis - ep04

Now that the battle is over they are having to deal with the aftermath. First you have the actions of Ganelon and Thenardier. That with Thenardier's defeat Ganelon withdraws his forces for now and wait to see what Thenardier will do. It seems that at least for now Tigre will have a degree of peace from his own country. However he has no intentions to leave Tigre alone because of his connection in Zhcted he is going to send a war maiden after Tigre next. This point is emphases with Eleonora's return to Zhcted to explain her action to the king. Which almost ends badly for her with her poor political skill since she is better suited for the battlefield. Although her sister Soyfa Obertas saves her and afterwords warns her of future danger coming from Ludmila Lourie. That with her connection with Thenardier she will be used against Tigre and Eleonora will have to do battle with a fellow War Maiden.

Then with Tigre is having to deal with how his country will see his actions against Thenardier. Although with the the arrival of Mashas he is able to explain the situation, and through Mashas hopefully the king will see that he is in the right. That it also seems that with this battle Tigre is becoming a power on par with Ganelon and Thenardier. It turns out the he will be the force that will clear out the corruption in his kingdom, and the other lord might be willing to side with him because of the support he has from both Mashas and Zchted. That to obtain the lasting peace for Alsace it will cause him to clash with Ganelon and Thenardier over their desire for the throne. That in the end it would be best for them to fight each other than fighting their war by proxy in Alsace. That they might unintentional make Tigre the king's successor.

Now as Tigre is continuing to build his power base Eleonora returns from Zchted with news of what will happen to Alsace. That in the end Alsace will remain in Tigre's hands for now because if she took it as per their agreement then it would become apart of her domain. However in the future it might be something they will have to consider. Currently there is a more pressing problem with them having to face Ludmila Lourie a fellow War Maiden as an enemy. That means that just because she supports him doesn't mean that the others War Maiden will that the coming battle with Ludmila Lourie is one such example. It is not long after this that the person in question comes herself. In the end it is kind of ironic that a future enemy helps Tigre with the assassin sent after him by Thenardier the same force that is causing Ludmila to become Tigre's enemy. The question is how will the future battle with Ludmila go since she isn't corrupted like Zion but will likely face him honorably.

Amagi Brilliant Park - ep04

Things start off with dealing with Latifa's collapses, and it seems to having nothing to do with what Seiya had her do. Although they don't elaborate on the cause just that it happens from time to time but he will probable know in time. However when he does learn will he be able to do anything about it. In the end this is a little side story but the main focus is on Seiya and Izusu growing relationship. That the problem comes from Izusu's feeling of inadequacy and how Seiya always seems to know the perfect way to deal with it or is already has prepared counter measure for the problem before it happened. That in the end it is clear seen why when he delegates dealing with Moffle, Macoron, and Tiramie to Izusu. This causes the fairies to confront Seiya about Izusu, which has him see first hand how she deal with problems by having her gun to all the talking. This has Seiya deal with Izusu and how she needs to learn to compromise and not just dish out orders. Although when she complains that he is no different, he comeback is that he gives them a reason to believe in what he is doing is right.

The issue with Izusu is only resolve when a problem arises that Seiya doesn't know how to deal with when the park is getting flooded. This force Izusu to take charge and in doing so it restores some of her confidence. That it is only when everything is mostly finished that Izusu explains that she is a soldier, and even she felt that she was unsuited to manage the park but it doesn't change the fact that she was order to get the park back on it feet. This in turn causes Seiya to reveal why he quit showbiz because his fear of heights. That it isn't an uncommon thing for people to fail like she did and this brings a degree of comfort to her. Although she feels it a bit too late since everyone hates her, and it turns out that they don't. That it just that they don't know how to deal with her.

Hitsugi no Chaika Avenging Battle - ep03

It appears that they are doing a bit of a subtle approach in pursuing Gaz's fortune, even with all the foreshadowing that they are doing with guy's involvement. That he is forcing a clash between the three key players that are seeking Gaz's remians. Although Toru wants to continue the search for the remains because there is much not known about this supposed mysterious island. Although in a way his reason to continue the pursuit is kind of hallow since the red Chaika already has one piece, it is unavoidable that they will clash once more over the piece that they have. That as long as they were quicker and the red Chaika never got a single piece it could be avoided but it can't any longer. All this is put to the side for now as they go after the piece that Clay Morgan has.

Which it turns out he was glad to be rid of it but he was haunted by Gaz's death. That he is further traumatized by the appearance of Chaika which leads to Toru and Akari on their pursuit of him. That once they catch him he is more than glad to give it to them if they would just leave him alone. Then with this piece obtained it sense that they can pursue the next piece but unfortunately Chaika has different ideas since they are so close to the rumored location of the island. That this causes issue because Chaika wants to know the truth and believe that this island holds the key. While Toru thinks it's better to go after the next target Stephan Hartgen which was the leader of the heroes as well as the person the executed Chaika. That if anyone knows the truth of that day he would, however it seems that Chaika is dead set on pursing this island has ultimately leaded to her unintentional firing Toru and Akari.

That with this done she is force to rely upon Fredrica to take her out to sea in search of the island and it seems that this will be the last things Fredrica does for her. However do to her impatience, Toru thinks over what was said and goes back to Chaika to follow her wishes even-though he disagrees with them but it turn out he is too slow. That as they return Chaika and Fredrica are taking off for the island. This leads them to seek a way to fallow and to that they need a boat, and it appears that the best boat in the harbor belongs to their friend Clay. Which has them terrorize him with Gaz's remains to get him to agree to their demands. It turns out that things are going how Guy desired since red Chaika group has boarded their ship as it was departing. Things end with the ship being attack by a kraken causing Toru and Akari to sink into the sea. While Chaika and Fredrica are knocked out of the air by some dragons. The question is how will they be reunited on the island and will Vivi be arriving as well or will she visit the island after they have left.

Trinity Seven - ep03

Now for what ever reason they decide to clear up Arata's death a bit out of order. First by focusing in on everyone being alright enjoying a trip to the beach with Arata and Arin stuck on kichen duty as punish for destroying the school. They did this way instead of picking up where they left off with Akio killing Arata on Mira's orders. However things don't exactly turn out the way the plan since Arata doesn't die because Yui saves him at the last moment, and further more by trying to kill him Mira just made the breakdown phenomenon worse. That in the end they can only slow it progress until Arata returns.

That through saving Arata, this leads to him meeting Yui. Although the question is why does Yui call him her brother and if they really are siblings why doesn't know her or at least they have to have some past together for her to even see him as her pseudo brother. That it is through meeting Yui he is able to understand Thema and what he is unintentionally causing. Also through Mira actions he see himself as her polar opposite so his Thema needs to be the exact opposite of her pride. Which lead him to control, by choosing this as his Thema is also what will enable him to use other magic as well. Anyways getting back to the point with his return he is able to use control to erase the Breakdown Phenomenon but it doesn't just stop the problem it also strips the girls because it appears that their clothes are made from magic.

Then with this finish it returns us to the present with them on their school trip to the beach. That they continue the explore Arata magic with Selina wanting to see it since she wasn't present during the incident in question. In the end her own curiosity get the better of her when she uses her magic on Arata which force him to use his in return to break her spell and in doing so he also ends up striping her as well. This will lead to Arata trying to have Lilith teach him more about magic, which Leads Selina and Levi misunderstand the situation because of the context of the conversation and Arata perverted nature. Cause them to believe that they have an illicit student-teacher relationship, although it doesn't take Lilith long to clear up any misunderstanding however Arata doesn't mind the misunderstanding.

That with the situation cleared up it leads them to learning the reason why Arata is working to become a Mage to save his cousin Hijiri. This also leads to Arata learning about the Trinity Seven, that he has already met most of them. It seems that Yui is an especially difficult one to met since you can only met her in your dreams. Then you also have the last one that has gone missing. This ultimately leads to the discover that Lilith can't just give him a magical gun, he has to make his own magical tool. The from there he has Lilith show off her magic but is initially resistant to the idea because she believe that this is something that he should learn by himself. Although in the end she caves because of his earnest desire to save his cousin. However in seeing her do it once is enough for Astil Codex to imitate what was done and create a gun for Arata, which he shouldn't be able to do. That in doing so it means there is no limit to what magic he can use. That it also means that it is possible to use magic that non of them are capable of using. The question is how will this related to getting Hijiri back.

Madan no Ou to Vanadis - ep03

Now the battle between the two armies can began since the enemy has been purged from Alsace. Although before going into battle some preparation need to be made since Tigre's army is outnumbered three to one. The first is Lim need for rope which is later on going to be use for a trap, the other is the use of the spare horse that they are going to use to trick Zion to believe that their numbers are greater than the actual are. During all this planning it is interesting to see the conflict between Titta and Eleonora. Then you also have Lim growing respect for Tigre as everyone lends a hand in the preparation.

Then as the battle began it clear that even-though the are outnumbered they are not outclassed. That things are going in Tigre's favor until Zion sends his earth dragon to the front-lines and have his soldiers flank them on the left and right sides so that Tigre's only choice is to go through the dragon. This is when Lim show up attacking the left flank to draw the enemy away while the others deal with the right and that leave Eleonora to deal with the dragon. Then with Zion force diminished he is felling the pressure, this is when the spare horse are used to give the illusion that 2,000 troops have arrive. That the force they have been fight isn't the main one but this is a trick by using the sun to cast a longer shadow on the spare horse then they would natural giving the illusion of arrival of a large army.

Although Zion isn't aware that he is being deceive, this cause him to panic since he feels that he can't afford to lose the other dragon for the fear of his fathers wrath. This leads into to the only action he believe is capable of saving him is to challenge Tigre to a duel. Which in all likelihood Tigre would accept but doesn't believe he has any hope of winning since you can't duel with a bow. That in the end he get his duel and continue to mock Tigre's when he choose to duel with his bow. Although in the end he proves that it is possible by striking the same spot on shield three times before the duel. Then on the duel itself his forth shot pierces the shield and goes through Zion's arm. That with losing the duel he abandons his army and tries to escape on his sole remaining dragon. Although in the end he is shot down by Tigre, that with this victory even more questions have been raised. What is the truth about Tigre's family bow and why is it so much like Eleonora's Alfra does this mean that there is some connection between Zhcted and Alsace.

Amagi Brilliant Park - ep03

Now with Seiya taking action to fix the park, the most important of these is cleaning up the parks image so it doesn't look so warn down. Although it seems what Moffle was up in arms about is not the actual act of closing down the park to fix it up but more of the lack of announcing to the public that it was going to happen. This kind of leads to Moffle put his foot in his mouth, since Seiya suggest that if he has such a problem with it then go out front an entertain them since they are not going to be allow inside until all the repairs are done. This action leads the further problems when he hits a guest that was mocking him and calling him a knock off. Ultimately the consequences of this act was averted by Izusu stepping and shooting the guests with her forgetful bullet. It turns out this is a common thing that happens once a year, which is ironically how long it take for Izusu to make one of the forgetful bullets.

Then you also have the other action that are being taken to improve on the park such as extending operating hours from 5pm to 7pm at least for now until they can install lighting so that the park can run at night. Then there is also the banning of holidays because it seems that they have been taking the weekends off when that should be their busiest time. Then there is the fact of trying to make everything free to bring in the maximum number of customers but he concedes this point by making everything cost 30 yen which is about 30 cents in commemoration of their 30 year anniversary. However this is just another thing that Moffle is pissed at Seiya about because he is placing so little value on their performances.

Lastly you have Seiya's advertising campaign, by having the girls dress up in bikini's to advertise the Park now discounted prices. Although once again Moffle is upset of Seiya's action but not because of Seiya's method of advertizing but over the fact that he had Latifa participate. That it seems for some reason Latifa can't leave the barrier of her castle. Which raise another question on what is Latifa's secret. Although on a side note it seems that Izusu is upset with Seiya for having her participate in the advertising in a bikini knowing that the video would never attract much attention in the first place. That it was all for just getting on extra person to visit the park. Then question is their at then end what was the trouble that has befallen Latifa, and is it because of Seiya taking her outside or is it something else entirely.

Hitsugi no Chaika Avenging Battle - ep02

Now with the rematch between Chaika and Claudia comencing, most of the episode focus on this clash. That in a way the conclusion is obvious that Chaika would come out victorious but what is more important is how they reached this conclusion. That Chaika was able to win by shortening her spell and she was only ultimately able to do this out of concern over Toru. It seems as the story progress there will be more of a focus on the blossoming love between Toru and Chaika. That the conclusion of this battle mark another important change in the story because of the imformation about the location of the other hero as well as Gaz's fortune.

That towards the end of the episode it is point to a future clash between the Chaika's. First you have the white Chaika that from our knowledge has been the most successful in collecting Gaz's remains. Then there is the red Chaika that has finally collect her first remain and with this it will ultimately lead to a clash between white and red once again. Then you have how Vivi will play a part in all of this. There is also the point of doubt being raised in the Chaika's, how the red one is doubting her purpose because it is unclear compared to the white Chaika desire to give her father a funeral. While white Chaika is doubting her existance that there is a chance that all the Chaika that existed are fakes. Then this ask the question of what are they, and this is why Chaika is abandoning her search for Gaz's remains for now. That she is going to seek out the truth and Chaika believe that Gaz's fortune hold the key to this. The question is what will she do once she know the truth.

Trinity Seven - ep02

What nice with this series is they don't inform you of all the rule in this magical world all that once, that the explanation come piece by piece as Arata interacts with the Trinity Seven. In way it kind of funny with Arata is force to play the straight man when dealing with Arin, while when dealing with everyone else it's the other way around. It kind of interesting how the episode is about Arin but she plays a very little part in it. That in the beginning you have her cling to Arata and later her announcement to him this she is going to be his wife. Then she leaves at as she heads off else where because she has step a trap in his room.

Although Arin traps becomes more complicated then Arin originally plan since Lilith, Levi, and Selina are waiting for Arata in his room. That it is here that we learn about Arata's Grimoire before Arin springs her trap to seal the room. Then because of this the conversation about magic is put on hold. Although being trapped in the room is more a pressing issue for the girls than it is for Arata. The reason being they all need to go starting with Lilith and ending with Selina. That they get out by tricking the Grimoire to revealing the source of the magic. Then while the girls are rushing of to take care of business, Arata head of to confront Arin about her trap.

Arata takes action to prevent the conversation from getting out of hand by having Lilith come along. That in the end Lilith is annoyed that she fell victim to Arin's trap only because she was to lazy to wait for them to leave and Arata was left alone in the room. That it is through this that it indirectly reveals the source of the connection between Mages and Grimoire. That it is through Thema that focus on a single point of study. Like Arin's is on destruction and this is why she causes Arata to lose control of his magic so that he would cause a breakdown phenomenon because she wish to see what lies beyond destruction. However this event is halted by the return of Akio and Mira. That it is through there appearance that it is discovered that each of the Trinity Seven embody one of the seven deadly sins and Mira represents pride. That it is because of her pride that she is about to stop the Breakdown phenomenon by counter it by an equal destructive force and it is also because of her pride that she orders Akio to kill Arata. Although it isn't very likely that Arata will die, in truth in might just make things worse and ultimately forcing Arata to gain control magic. It should be interesting to see what Arata's fate is even-though it is not very likely that Akio will be successful in her attempt to kill Arata.

Madan no Ou to Vanadis - ep02

It seems that they are still covering key points in the story using flashbacks. Things start off with what leaded Thenardier to send 3,000 men and two dragon to invade Alsace. In the end his reasons are childish, he views Alsace is worthless and doesn't want it but he will not allow his rival Ganelon to have it either. This his motivation for destroying Alsace but he also intends for it to be an example to everyone that stands against him. That through Thenardier arrogance it gives Tigre a way to return home by forcing him to ally himself with Eleonora and by extension of her actions to the Zhcted Empire.

This in the end is beneficial to Tigre, first Eleonora is not just going to let him go off and get himself killed. Second he would only have less than a hundred men against three thousand but by asking Aid from Eleonora he would have a fighting chance. Then there is the issue of future conflict, that even if they won Thenardier would just send more men the next time or Ganelon would just send his own army to mock Thenardier. That by allying himself with Zhcted he is sparing Alsace the coming civil war in Brune. Although Tigre wasn't thinking about any of this it just that he felt Eleonora was testing him and he passes this test in a way she wasn't expecting.

Things end with Zion being frustrated with his results in assaulting Alsace. First of all Alsace doesn't even fight back because the entire populace is holding up in the temple, that unless he wants to turn all of Brune against his father than he can't touch them. Then as he is lamenting this fact he notices Tigre's mansion on the hill and see that he can still have a little fun. Than as it turns out Titta is residing their waiting Tigre's return and with the intention to protect his families heirloom if nothing else. This leads to her confrontation with Zion and her desire to protect Tigre's ancestral bow almost cause her to get raped by Zion. However Tigre saves her a the last moment by piercing Zion's hand with an arrow which allow her to escape. Then with Tigre's return he is almost hit by a snipers arrow by kills the assassin this their own arrow but this event cracks Tigre's bow and force him to use the bow that Titta spent so much effort protecting. That next time will have the showdown between Zion and Tigre.
