Things began with a flashback to L-elf
childhood, and from it some light is shed on why L-elf would want to
side with JIOR even when he has a way to rejoin with Dorssia if he
wanted to. Although once we return to the present and L-elf has a
clear idea of how much time has passes since Haruto took over his
body, he makes an alarming declaration. That is they have six hours
until their country falls and the only thing that can save them is if
Haruto agree to L-elf contract. Natural things are left unresolved,
and this leads to other revelation such as the news of Aina's death.
This news doesn't just hit Haruto hard but the rest of the school as
well, because it is likely that they could be next. This cause
further conflict because they are being divide by those that they
belief that they should fight or they will be the next to die. Then
there are those that belief that they should hold to the passive
belief of their country.
Although things become more tense when
Dorssia returns for them once more. Although the frontal attack is
merely a diversion so that A-drei can get inside with his men to try
and take over the unit. How this is achieved is that although the
Valvrave are strong they can still be neutralized with Dorssia
electro-magnetic boomerang. It seems that all is lost but once Haruto
realizes that he has no-other choice he make the pact with L-elf but
he has a condition, that everyone must live and he uses the memory
he witness inside L-elf to have him belief that there is a better
way. In the end it turns out that there was a better way, and the
unit was save once more. However now it is clear which side L-elf is
on now. It seems with the battle lines draw, they are began to
elaborate on the nature of the Valvraves and how they came to be. It
seems that the technology has some link to Dorssia, and there is some
implication that the people in Dorssia might not be human. Also what
is the nature of the crytsal in the cage, it seems that there might
be more mystry remaining than just the question of what the Valvrave
really is.
