Devil Survivor 2 - ep10

After Nitta is informed of her fate, she is left to think things over with what little time she has left. The next morning when she is spending time with Hibiki in his room, Alcor comes in with a tray of food that he cook for everyone. However it seems very likely that Alcor knows everything that is going on and what Nitta has decide to or in reality been force to do. That is probably why he has prepared this meal, but even though he knows what is going on he still won't tell Hibiki about it. Although he is willing to go to Yamato to talk him into reconsider his decision to sacrifice Nitta, that Hibiki isn't like him. That Nitta's death will crush him. It seems all this falls on deaf ears and alcor's pleas go unheard.

It isn't until the plan is being executed that the cruel fate that is awaiting Nitta is revealed. That Nitta is expected to died by the end of the plan. That it is through her life that they will be able to defeat the sixth Septentrion. Although they are not going to directly kill her to summon this demon, instead it appears that the demon has been imprisoned by Yamato's ancestors. That they are going to have it posses Nitta, then Yamato is going to control it by controlling Nitta but it can only be control during a brief period of time while it is trying to fully posses Nitta. However their true goal is not this demon but another one. They use this demon Lugh to summon another demon call Shakko, that it is through Shakko that they will seal the sixth into a void of nothingness which will essential kill it. The plan is successful but Nitta's mind is destroyed in the processes.

Now with Lugh in full control of Nitta body it realize that his vessel isn't strong enough to contain it for long and it will soon perish. However it is sure that it will last long enough so that it will be able to get revenge on Yamato for being arrogant enough to believe that his clan simply use a god to do their bidding. It seem that Yamato cruelty doesn't end with what he has done to Nitta but he wants Hibiki to kill her. Although Hibiki refuse to kill and believes that Nitta can be saved, however Yamato is prepared for this. Then when he tries to kill her, this begins Hibiki first act of openly defying Yamato by killing his summons. However when Lugh is about to kill him, Hibiki push him out of the way. This is when Hibiki obtains his third summons Shakko, and through Shakko powers he is able to void Lugh's attack. That through this he is able to talk Nitta back to her sense and have her reclaim her body from Lugh, and things end with Hibiki saving Nitta but is exhausted from the strain he put on his body.
