Now things
continue from where they left off last time with Aika catching Hakaze
red-handed. It seems that Aika wants to continue their discussion but
doesn't what to do it here on top of the roof. It seems that in this
switch of locations Hakaze tells Aika about everything that has
happen, since the viewers don't need to hear about it. Although it
seems that Aika is merely annoyed that she is going to die in a
couple of hours. This leads to the question on who could kill her
especially since she is the mage of exodus, also now she knows where
and when it will happen. It seem unlike that anyone could kill her,
even if she didn't know when it would happen. This leads to only one
conclusion is that she kill her self.
Then with this
result Hakaze begins to question on why she would do this, but to
Aika the reason is is obvious. That her death is ultimately the cause
of everything, it is what leaded her to make contact with Mahiro.
Then from through him connecting to Yoshino. Which would put Yoshino
in a position to save her when Mahiro abandon her. Then from their
her journey with Yoshino would lead her to question the tree of
genesis, and ultimately lead her to the decision to destroy it.
However it is throughout everything that has happened that things
have come full circle. Then with this Hakaze realize that she is
responsible for Aika's death. On the other hand Aika see thing
differently that it is through her death that the two of them are
saved.
Now that
everything is revealed, it seems that the two princess are at odds
with each other. Aika is intent on killing herself because it will
set the world down the path it needs to follow, and in the process it
will also save Yoshino and Mahiro. While Hakaze seems intent on
preventing this because of the amount of suffering it caused Yoshino
and Mahiro. It seems that neither of these princess care about the
world, they just want to what they feel will save the ones that they
love. However it is through this conflict that the true nature of
both mages are revealed. That the Mage of Genesis magic is defensive
to make the tree seem no threatening, but at the same time that means
that the Mage of Genesis has no actual ability to harm the Mage of
Exodus. While this doesn't hold the same for the Mage of Exodus since
it is the weapon that is intended to destroy the tree of Genesis, and
therefore Since the Mage of Genesis is empower by the very tree that
they protect then Hakaze has no hope in being able to stop Aika from
doing as she wishes.
In the end Hakaze
did find out the answer to her question on who kill Aika, although in
a way she didn't expect. Even after Aika knocks her out, Hakaze still
has hope that she will be able to stop Aika. However in the end the
past remains unchanged, but she leaves a letter for Yoshino and
Mahiro. Although Aika has left instructions that they should only
read them after the tree of Genesis is destroyed. Why does even
matter when they read them, unless Aika found a way to cheat death in
a similar way that Hakaze did on her island. I guess only time will
tell, and with the mystery finally solve. There is only on thing left
to do, and that is to defeat the tree of genesis. Although will
things really be that simple.
