Kore wa Zombie Desa Ka? Of the Dead! - ep06

It seem like the plot is finally getting back on track after the long run of character development episodes. It turns out the the magical chainsaw Mystletainn has finally been fixed by Dai-Sensei although it would have been interesting to see Ayumu beat a Megalo with his own strength for once. It seems that he only has to wait a little bit longer before his life can get back to normal. However during this wait it seems like the school is preparing for a school festival. That through a strange course of event Haruna got to leading the class meeting on what they will be doing, because somehow Haruna became a part-time cooking instructor at Ayumu's School.

During this class meeting Haruna decides that they are going to do a S.W.A.T. Cafe, although Ayumu finds the idea of this to be offensive and wants to do something else. However this ends up putting him on the spot because he didn't have anything in mind when he open his mouth. This leads to him mentioning the first thing that comes to mind a Youkai Cafe or monster Cafe, but shockingly Haruna agrees with his idea and the rest of the class follows Haruna's lead. During this week that they are preparing for this festival, Ayumu encounter a sickly doctor that gives him a ring and he will know what is for when the time comes.

Then the night before the festival begins, the repaired Mystletainn appears in a comical parody on the Terminator series. This is the moment that Ayumu has been waiting for, that is because now he can return his life to normal by erasing everyone's memories of him being dressed like a woman. In how overjoyed he is at with Mystletainn return you would almost think that he secretly like the clothes. Ironically when he greets the new day Ayumu didn't expect that his shame would return so quickly. Where the monster that he has to dress up as is Dracula's bride, and just as he clears his name. Ayumu has the misfortune of being once again labeled as a cross-dresser.

Then with his classmate sending him out to advertise, he come across selling music CDs with Yuki. The problem is the fact that they are trying to sell CDs but the CDs that they are selling are recording of their curse song. That personally I think that she would be more successful in marketing them as weapons than entertainment, this is probably just a case of miss marketing. With the fact that they are not selling Haruna gets Sera and Yuu to help out by dressing them up as bunny girls. While this is going on Yuki escapes with Ayumu to talk with him about something in private.

Yuki tells Ayumu about this letter she received, and after Ayumu tells her about the place the she is suppose to meet this person is renowned by successful love confessions. This ultimately causes her imagination to go wild, leading her to believe that Ayumu is going to come on to her at any moment. This leads to Yuki knock herself unconscious, which unleashes the weapon that is sleeping inside of her. Then conveniently just as this happens the sick doctor appears and tells Ayumu to use the ring, but he miss understands and puts it on himself when he is suppose to put it on Yuki. After he gets it right, Ayumu finds out that the ring existed to seal the weapon that lives inside Yuki. That as long as she wears it they are safe, but when Ayumu tells Yuki that she can never take it off. This cause a great misunderstanding cause Yuki to believe that they are officially husband and wife now.

Then the episode ends with Ayumu using his now return magical powers to defeat a very interesting pair of Megalos. The raccoon is very funny this it saying “Boobs are Justice” also with is carrying a handgun but its fingers are too short to pull the trigger. I have to say out of all the Megalos that Ayumu has defeated in this series the raccoon is really the only on I'm sad to see die. The best thing that has happen in this episode is that they finally managed to get the plot back on track.  

Haiyore Nyaruko - Ep05

After a quick recap of what when on last time, it progress into what possible could Hasuta father what with Mahiro's mother. This cause Nyaruko to go off on an insane delusion where Hasuta's father had a secret love affair with Hasuta's father that Hasuta and Mahiro are half-brothers. Although Hasuta doesn't want that because he is in love with Mahiro, although I don't know if his denial of Nyaruko scenario is beneficial. Although it wouldn't surprise me if Hasuta is really a girl pretending to be a guy, it happens some time in anime. Anyways things get complicated when Hasuta finally meets Mahiro's mother Yoriko.

Then reason for this complication doesn't come from Hasuta as you would expected but from the suspicious woman that was shadowing Hasuta. That for some reason she wants to abducted Mahiro's mother for some reason, and then by whispering something in his mothers ear she manages to get her compliance. When Kuuko and Nyaruko try and stop them from leaving, things get a bit more convoluted when this woman whispers something into Kuuko's ears causing her to turn against Nyaruko. This leads to gives this woman enough time to prepare an escape route with Kuuko occupying Nyaruko. This escape route is strangely enough a green Delorean, that looks exactly like the one from “Back to the Future” other than it is green.

Then from Nyaruko we learn that they really didn't go back in time but use it to get R'lyeh land, where Nyaruko to end the attacks on Mahiro. However because she went with them willingly they can't enter the place officially, so Nyaruko summons an aquatic car to get them there. When he question her why they didn't use it last time, her only answers was she didn't feel like it. On the way to R'lyeh land they encounter some defenders that are protecting the place. Although Nyaruko didn't come unprepared because the car has an limitless supply of torpedoes. However they can only be fired when the magic gauge is full. They do reach there destination in the end but Nyaruko ends up separated from Mahiro and Hasuta. Things end with Nyaruko charging ahead to face the enemy.

Tasogare Otome X Amnesia - Ep05

This time the focus is mostly on Okonogi and Kirie, rather than on Teiichi interaction with Yuuko. What is interesting is that they completely disregarded the ominous ending in the last episode with a dark shadow hovering over Kirie, and continued with the light hard nature that the series has manged to create. What is going this time is that there is a school fair going on and Teiichi is running a haunted house in the old school building. However Kirie is unnerved by Yuuko actions toward Teiichi and runs off. Although when she does this Okonogi follows and in the chase they both wind up lost in the old school building.

While they are trying to find out how to get back they come across the science room. This leads to Okonogi telling Kirie about another ghost story that she heard, that is about a heartless-anatomy model. That because it is missing it's heart it seeks to steal the hearts of others, and it is rumored to reside in the old school science room. It's kind of funny that a ghost story is using a pun in it, but they do end of finding it. Then the interesting thing is that they decide to bring it along with as the go around the school fair, before they bring it back to the club house for Teiichi Haunted House.

Then as they go around the school visiting various places, they end up running into some of Okonogi's friends that are running a cafe. That for no other reason that they feel that it would be interesting they enlist Kirie help as one of the waitress. They don't stop there but they go as far as dressing her up as a cat-eared maid. Although Kirie is extremely embarrassed by this because she believe that she doesn't have any feminine charm at all. This is why she is so surprised by the peoples reactions. Once the day is done, and she notices how beautiful at she actual is. What also surprises her is how she is comparing herself to Yuuko. This cause her to rush back to the haunted house as she is to get Teiichi opinion of how she looks.

When she gets there she finds no-one there and after looking the the mirror says how horrible here face is. That is when Yuuko appears behind her and says that she feels that way because it looks like hers. That Kirie secretly wants to be Yuuko because of all the attention that Teiichi gives her. Then as she rushs out Kirie runs into Teiichi and question him on what is there that Yuuko has that he like so much or does he like her because she is a ghost. However because he is dense, Teiichi doesn't see the real reason behind all these question. Although the way he answers surprises her because the reason he like Yuuko is that she is Yuuko. That in the end liking some has nothing to do with their physical attributes.

The Ghost story of concludes when Okonogi brings the model that they found in the science room to the club house and finds it's heart in the room. This cause her to go off on an insane ramble about it was never heartless to begin with that it approached them so that they could lead it to where it's heart was. This is really kind of strange to come that conclusion, which leaves me to wounder what sort of thoughts go through Okonogi's head.

Sankarea - Ep05

Things start in with what Chihiro going to do with Rea, because she is no-longer able to move because she has rigor mortis. This brings it home for Chihiro that she is really dead, it just that he didn't really notice before because she was so pale. This also means that if he doesn't find someway to preserve her body then in time there will be nothing but bones. That the best thing he can do for her is turn on the air-conditioning and give her his bed.

The next morning as he is woken by his father to start cleaning, he thinks that he needs to hide Rea in-case come decides to enter his room. He would find it a bit difficult to explain why there is a naked woman sleeping on his bed. This prompts him to prepare a futon in his closet, so that he can hide her while giving her some degree of comfort. Although moving her proves a bit more difficult than he initially planned on, with them enter into a compromising position during the endeavor. Once he feels that Rea is safe he ask his sister if he can borrow the book on embalming that she was reading, but Chihiro his a bit disappointed that his sister borrowed it from a friend. He just figures that he will have to come up with something later because there is not much he can do about it right now, with his father wanting him get started with cleaning.

While he is cleaning, his father stops him and start questing him about this cat that look like Babu that has been hanging around. Although his father does believe that Chihiro explanation that it is Babu brought back to life, and think that it just another cat that is like Babu. However this conversation gets his grandfather involved saying that both Babu and Sada are back from the dead. Although don't think it is the greatest vote of confidence to get your senile and crazy grandfather to back your story. However this leads to Chihiro finding out that his grandfather is the one that created the resurrection drug in the first place. Before he can get anymore information out of his grandfather like ways to preserve a zombie, he gets caught by his father for trying to use some lame story to get out of cleaning.

Then later Ranko comes by to check on Chihiro, because she believe that he might know what is going on with Rea. He manages to convince her that they have merely crossed paths a few times late at night, which in way in most true. Although just as she is leaving Ranko decides that she is going to borrow a movie from Chihiro. Then as she is looking around she finds a long strand of hair that there is now way it could be Chihiro's. While Ranko is thinking where this came from Rea attack her from behind causing Ranko to Scream. This leads to Chihiro rushing to his room where he finds Ranko struggling to get Rea off of her. However when Rea notice Chihiro, she kiss him full on the mouth while giving him a bone-crushing hug. Unfortunately, they finished off at the point where things were just getting good.

It turns out that Sera has to leave on a trip but as Sera leaves she orders Haruna to keep an eye on Ayumu too make sure he doesn't do anything pervert to Yuu. It turns out that Sera went on her trip before doing any of her chores, that means there is nothing in the fridge and a bunch of dirty dishes in the sink. The dirty dishes isn't the thing that Ayumu find most troubling but it that there is nothing to eat, and he can't go outside until the sun sets because he is a zombie. However there is one thing to eat and that is a freezer full of tangerines, but the better question is why are they there in the first place.

Then sometime after they eat the tangerines Yuu ends up getting sick. Then in seeing this the first thing that comes to mind is getting Yuu out of her clothes so that she can cool down. However the idea of undressing Yuu turn Ayumu on but he hates himself for thinking these things while he is suppose to be helping Yuu. This leads to him trying to undress Yuu while blindfolded, which leads to an amusing course of event unfolding. Where he goes from fondling a fan to give Yuu a back-rub, while question where exactly he is touching. Things get a bit more complicated when Haruna comes back from getting ice to see what he is doing, which leads to him getting a beat down from Haruna.

Continuing the efforts to nurse Yuu back to heath, Haruna goes off to make gruel. While she is doing this Ayumu remembers that Anderson is from the underworld like Yuu so he call him to get some help. Although Anderson uses this as an opportunity to make a fool of Ayumu, by getting him to strip while break dancing. Then getting down on all fours while naked to blow on Yuu's face, but then Haruna comes seeing what he is doing and you can guess what happens. Only when Anderson explains over the phone that he was only messing with him does it dawn on Ayumu he was being messed with. Before he hangs-up he tells Ayumu the best things that he can do for Yuu is just let her get some rest and see how she feels in the morning.

The next day Anderson comes over seeing that Yuu hasn't gotten any better and tells Ayumu the white parts from tangerines are poisonous to people from the underworld. That even-though Yuu peeled most of it off of the tangerines it is impossible to get it completely clean, that she must of got poisoned through the shear raw amount that she eaten. Then through a bunch of other strange rituals Yuu ends up getting better although Ayumu never did find out the one that worked. However with Yuu finally better, Haruna ends up getting sick. Then while things seems to repeating with Haruna, things end with Ayumu get punished by Sera when she sees that Ayumu is trying to undress Haruna.
