Haiyore Nyaruko-San - ep12 End

Things start out where they left off last time although the twist that they brought in wasn't the one I was expecting. How they set things up with all the aliens in his house being gone, I thought that some alien sent him back in time and prevent him from ever meeting Nyaruko. Which would also prevent him from ever meeting any of the other aliens as well. Although this doesn't seem to be the cases as we later find out that it isn't just the fact that Nyaruko and the others as gone. It seems as if he is the only person on the entire planet. That everyone else in the entire world is just gone, as if they never even existed.

Then in his panic, it reveals the truth about Mahiro. That he never really wanted them gone, he just desired for them to behave a bit. This truth is reflected in his honest desire for them to return, but the other thing that it showed him was how much he depend on them. Although now he realize that if he wants to get out of this he has to save himself. Then just as he set out to do just this, his is attack in the same way he was when he first met Nyaruko. When he accept the fact that he must protect himself, his pocket glows and Nyaruko's mirror appears. Then with this he ends up saving himself.

Just after he seals the enemy inside the mirror, Ghutatan comes running up to him apologizing. This allows for Mahiro to figure out that getting set to this place was her doing, although she did it because the Major told her to grant his wish. The shortly after both the Major and Nyaruko appear, and it is show that the Major is the enemy of this arc. This leads to Nyaruko using the mirror to show Mahiro is seal away, and by seeing himself he awakens for his dream world. It turns out that everything that happen was a plot by the Major to find out where Nyaruko gets her Adult Games.

Then only thing that shock Mahiro more than the Major's reasons, is how the universe see him because of his association with Nyaruko. This drives Mahiro over the edge and tells Nyaruko to finish him off. This cause a massive fight to take place, and when they start to get overwhelmed Luhi and Mahiro's mother show up. Things reach there peak when Nyaruko get capture by the Major and he starts to break her armor. Only then does Mahiro lend a helping hand and throws Nyaruko's crowbar to her. Which Nyaruko transform it into a sword which finishes the fight.

Now that the Major is gone the Message can get through to Ghutatan's parents, and everything can end well. Things end with them expressing in the credits that there is going to be a second season with Ghutatan joining his school. The season ends with Mahiro showing that he deeply cares for Nyaruko but isn't sure how to show it. It could also be the fact that he is put off by how forward she is, or that she may look him but she isn't. Although it will be interesting to see how Mahiro and Nyaruko's relationship develops in the next season when ever that may end up being.

Haiyore Nyaruko-San - Episode 11

Here we begin what appears to be the final arc of the series or at least the season. The emphasis is place on Mahiro wishing for his ordinary life to return. Then in contrast to this wish, the episode begins with the exact opposite. Where he is awoken by Nyaruko, Kuuko, and Hasuta playing video-games in his while he is trying to sleep. Then shortly after this another alien is arrives at his door, who appears to have been sent by his mother. It appears that this alien Ghutatan accompanied by her butler name Major, have been sent here by his mother. The reason for this is that she believes that Nyaruko can help this lost girl find her way.

It turns out that once again Nyaruko and company are creating more problems than they solve. While each one of them has their own reason for helping out, it isn't for the sole sake of helping Ghutatan as is Mahiro's intentions. This leads to Mahiro reaching his breaking point, where he tells them to go else where while he cleans up the mess that they made. Ultimately this leads to Mahiro finding out that Ghutatan has never done anything for herself, that she has always has had help to assist her in one way or another. This forces Mahiro to bathy her and change her clothes, which later leads to Mahiro allowing her to use his lap as a pillow.

This situation causes complications, when Nyaruko and the others return. Which result in them getting the wrong idea, which leads into a chase all over town. That ends with a run in with the enemy of the week, which are effortless defeated. However because Ghutatan ends up getting injured in the fight, this sends Mahiro over the edge with the excessive way that Nyaruko does things. However this leads to Mahiro saying to much, then the day ends with Nyaruko and the other never coming home. The episode ends with a bit of for shadowing where Mahiro's wish is granted, and all the aliens are gone from his life. The question becomes where did they go and does Mahiro really wish them to be gone.

Haiyore! Nayruko-San - Ep10

Continuing from last time where Nyaruko is using to fact that she is in Mahiro body to create a situation, where when he return the fact will remind that he still physically did it. That his denial of her will ultimately only be a small set back because in everyone else mind he did do it. Than at lunch Isuka shows up and it appears that the reason she was late was because she was up all night playing video-games. Although Mahiro is still concerned over the fact of why Yoichi didn't show up to school, so once school is let out they head over to Yoichi place. However it turns out that Yoichi got possessed by the extremist Isurugi.

They chase Isurugi to a location where he is building a mind-control device to achieve their ends. However as the fight begins Mahiro realize that he doesn't want Nyaruko harming his body, there is also the fact that he is not a fighter. Then to solve this problem he has Kuuko and Hasuta fight Isurugi, but it seems that Isurugi has prepare a CQC Jammer. Anticipating this Isuka prepared a CQC Jammer canceler, this starts a childish fight where they go back and forth between Jamming each other. Which ultimately results in Isurugi winning because he had more shots that Isuka. That just at this moment the machine finishes it self, and at this moment we learn that it purpose isn't to control the minds of earthling but to destroy all of humanity.

The reason for this is that the leader of the extremist true identity is a space child guardian, which is basically someone who sensors media. That to get into a higher ranking political position he need to destroy the earth so that he can be well off when he retires. This leads to them fight even though their CQC is Jammed, but during the fight when Mahiro is about to be shot Nyaruko push him out of the way.

Then when he looks down and see the condition that she is in Mahiro feels bad about all the things that he said. However he doesn't know that Nyaruko is still alive and is playing dead because Mahiro words are seriously turning her on. Which results in her giving Mahiro a sudden french kiss, which he wasn't expecting. Then just as they are about to be shot again, Isuka body swapping beam finishes charging. Then with Nyaruko back in her body she finishes off the threat to the earth. Now that this is all over Mahiro foolishly believes that everything will go back to normal, but it turns out that things don't work out that way. Mahiro still has to deal with the aftermath of Nyaruko's action while she was in his body.

Haiyore! Nyaruko-San - Ep09

It seem like Mahiro is slowly falling in love with Nyaruko, because he has a dream with him confessing his love for Nyaruko. Once he awakes up and see a Nyaruko body pillow next to him, believe that Nyaruko is up to her usual brand of crazy. That is until he bumps the pillow and realizes that Nyaruko herself is inside, this results in him heartlessly throwing outside into the yard from the second floor. This event creates a bit of doubt in her heart, and it pain even more so because Nyaruko felt that Mahiro was warming up to her but Kurei convince her that if she keeps doing what she has been doing that it is only a matter of time before Mahiro is hers.

The after school the group heads out to get Hasuta some necessary things that he will needs since he is going be living with Mahiro and the others from now on. While they are out shopping they do various sort of Jokes such as Nyaruko trying to appeal to Mahiro by wearing glasses, but the table complete turn around when Mahiro puts on his reading glass. However with all playing around aside, they still end up get all the shopping for Hasuta done. Although before heading home they find out that Luhy's new job is that of a stage performer.

Then before heading home Nyaruko gets a call from her boss about a job that she has been doing, that it deals with back when Nyaruko's brother killed all the gods in Dreamland. It appears that this Dreamland is where all human souls go when they sleep, that to protect the entertainment that the humanity makes. They must also ensure the security of the Dreamland, so it turns out that she needs to start doing her job. However just before they get home they are attack by someone possessing Kurei, it turns out that they ray-gun that she used force Mahiro and Nyaruko to switch bodies.

Once they wake up, they get an explanation from Isuka-san who is possessing Kurei's body. It appears that she was intending to possess Nyaruko and use her to solve the problems in Dreamland. Which is ironic since that is her current job anyways, that she would of help Isuka if she just asked. However there a problem with the body switching device because it can only be used once before you can recharge it. Also it takes an entire day to recharge. Then with things explained, Isuka makes her escape.

However while they are having to deal with there current situation, the aliens that are living with him are going to try to take advantage of this change. The main one trying to take advantage of this situation is Nyaruko, first by going to the bathroom to not just use it but also to full examine Mahiro's body. The Second time she tries to take a bath with Mahiro under the pretense that they have nothing left to hide from one another. This results in Mahiro trying to counter-attack by writing a contract to Kuuko, where once Nyaruko returns to her body she will be Kuuko's body and soul. This results in Kuuko treating Mahiro as her lord. However in the end Nyaruko get the last laugh by confessing to Mahiro in-front of the whole class. Things end with Mahiro appearing to have no way out.

Haiyore Nyaruko-San - Ep08

Things start out with him remembering what happened yesterday when he and Nyaruko went on a date. However the next day when they go out into town to look for souvenirs, Mahiro is a bit bothered by the fact, that Nyaruko is completely unaffected by their date yesterday. The other thing that is of note is that Nyaruko seems to be kissing up to his mother a bit more. This leads them to this store where Mahiro finds this old hand-held game, when he is encourage by the others to turn it on. He later realize that he shouldn't have down that because it dragged him into the game.

Later when Luhy appears she explains that they are trapped inside a dating sim, that the only way out is to get a good end. It also turns out the other mannage to over hear this information and are creating there own plans around Mahiro. Nyaruko is convince that if Mahiro wants out, he will have to actively pursue her. While Kuuko is going to use this opportunity to set Mahiro up with Hasuta. Although Hasuta plans to be a bit more forward in his pursuit of Mahiro. Like usual things don't go as planned. Things continue like a normal dating sim for awhile until for no reason they start doing parodies Haruhi Suzumiya.

The from that point they start doing random things such as going strait to Christmas and each character has unique gift to give him. It turns out that both Kuuko and Hasuta gives are bit different, while Nyaruko gives him a legal document. Then when he tears it up, Nyaruko gives him a proper gift. After this they proceed to wrap things up with a valentines day battle done in a battle royal style. Which makes it where Mahiro didn't have to choose anyone, that the choice was made for him. However if you think about there really wasn't anyone else to choose from, they get out of the game when Mahiro kiss Nyaruko. Although once they are free it appears that no-one remembers what happen besides Mahiro. While Nyaruko ends up looking very suspicious as if see remembers him kissing her, but persist in her denial.

Haiyore Nyaruko-San - Ep07

Continuing from last time where Nyaruko is about to do Mahiro, to turns out that Mahiro is not going to give-up without a fight. This results in him traping Nyaruko between a blanket and a table. However as they are having breakfast the next day, she makes it difficult for Mahiro by saying that they did it last night and now she is pregnant. This makes it difficult for Mahiro because he has to dispel everything that she says and for some strange reason his friends with not believe anything that he says. This cause even more trouble when this conversation gets his mother starts to dream about grandchildren. This makes things worse for Mahiro because his mother is now accepting of a potential relationship between them as long as it doesn't become X-rated. How this cause Nyaruko to start to plan that if she can get pregnant, his mother will change her tune once grandchildren come into the mix.

Once breakfast is over, Mahiro ends up spending a lot of time trying to run away from Nyaruko. Which to an extent he is partial successful. However later when he finds out Luhy has started up a takayaki stand, things happen which causes them to all meet up again. However after lunch he is at his limit with Nyaruko's behavior which cause him to snap saying that he hates her. This cause Nyaruko to turn pale and loss all but three sanity points. The question is what happen when she reaches zero. Anyways, for awhile Mahiro leaves her as she is. Although after a bit his friend Yoichi convince him that he might have went a bit to far.

This leads to him apologizing for what he said, that he real doesn't hate her. Somehow this ends up with go on a date with Nyaruko to make up for what was said. Nyaruko changes into a kimono, and they end up going around to various different place but one place that Mahiro refuses to go is to the sex museum. Towards the end of the day they end up going to a temple that is dedicated to the god of relationships. Mahiro agrees to go there so that he can get out of going to the sex museum, and after they pray at the temple Nyaruko buys some fireworks. Then once they use them on the beach, Nyaruko tells him that she is really interested in him. That her cheerful attitude is just so that she can have the courage to tell him, that she will continue to tell him that she loves him until it get through to him.

Haiyore Nyaruko-San - Ep 06

Continuing from last time, Mahiro and Hasuta meet up with Nyaruko. It seems that Nyaruko is fiercely fighting out with Kuuko, and tells them to go on ahead while she keeps Kuuko occupied. That she will catch up with them later. However during the fight it appears that the two of them are at a stalemate, this leads to Nyaruko to start fighting dirty by throwing some photos. The reason that Kuuko would be interested in these pictures is because Nyaruko tell her that they are pictures of her in a bathing suit. This provides Nyaruko with the opening that she needs to defeat Kuuko, however Kuuko is disappointed when she finds out that they are just pictures of Mahiro. The fight ends with Nyaruko having explain why Kuuko betrayed them.

Although while the fight is going on Mahiro and Hasuta arrive at where Mahiro's mother is at. It seems that they misunderstood what was doing the for shadowing. That it wasn't the existence of some new element but all the video games that his mother owned that was doing the foreshadowing. That the reason that she went along with this was because she wanted to play a space video game console. That when Nyaruko brings Kuuko, it seems that Kuuko is there biggest customer. Things end a bit anticlimactic with Xoth company CEO calling up Luhy and telling her that they terminating the game production of their company. This also means that consciously that she is fired.

This ends up driving her into the brink of madness, where she activates the telepathic game system. However because of the game that it is running all the aliens that are connected to it believes that they are zombies, that is just a strange game to make where you are the zombies instead of fighting them. When all the aliens are defeated, Nyaruko wants to end things with making herself look cool by destroying the evil machine along with the boss. However Kuuko believe that it would be the respectful thing for the one that loves Xoth to be the one to finish it. Then with are happy ending, it seems that although Hasuta has finish his job that his father gave him. There is some foreshadowing that he is not going to be gone long.

This is quickly proven true because Hasuta is now apart of Mahiro's class now. Then later that afternoon when Mahiro's mother comes home saying that she has won eight ticket to an onsen, it appears that they are going on a trip. On this trip they spend some of the day at the beach, while when night falls they go to the onsen. However when night falls and everyone goes to bed for the night, Nyaruko has made plans to seek into Mahiro Futon to do the naughty. Although Mahiro isn't too happy with this particular development, things end with Mahiro being force to summit to Nyaruko's wishes.

Haiyore Nyaruko - Ep05

After a quick recap of what when on last time, it progress into what possible could Hasuta father what with Mahiro's mother. This cause Nyaruko to go off on an insane delusion where Hasuta's father had a secret love affair with Hasuta's father that Hasuta and Mahiro are half-brothers. Although Hasuta doesn't want that because he is in love with Mahiro, although I don't know if his denial of Nyaruko scenario is beneficial. Although it wouldn't surprise me if Hasuta is really a girl pretending to be a guy, it happens some time in anime. Anyways things get complicated when Hasuta finally meets Mahiro's mother Yoriko.

Then reason for this complication doesn't come from Hasuta as you would expected but from the suspicious woman that was shadowing Hasuta. That for some reason she wants to abducted Mahiro's mother for some reason, and then by whispering something in his mothers ear she manages to get her compliance. When Kuuko and Nyaruko try and stop them from leaving, things get a bit more convoluted when this woman whispers something into Kuuko's ears causing her to turn against Nyaruko. This leads to gives this woman enough time to prepare an escape route with Kuuko occupying Nyaruko. This escape route is strangely enough a green Delorean, that looks exactly like the one from “Back to the Future” other than it is green.

Then from Nyaruko we learn that they really didn't go back in time but use it to get R'lyeh land, where Nyaruko to end the attacks on Mahiro. However because she went with them willingly they can't enter the place officially, so Nyaruko summons an aquatic car to get them there. When he question her why they didn't use it last time, her only answers was she didn't feel like it. On the way to R'lyeh land they encounter some defenders that are protecting the place. Although Nyaruko didn't come unprepared because the car has an limitless supply of torpedoes. However they can only be fired when the magic gauge is full. They do reach there destination in the end but Nyaruko ends up separated from Mahiro and Hasuta. Things end with Nyaruko charging ahead to face the enemy.

Haiyore! Nyaruko-san - ep03

Characters

Yasaka Nyaruko – She is a nyarlathotep, like the one from H.P. Lovecraft stories. Although the interesting thing is she tells Mahiro she is part of the planetary defense force. However if her true nature is like the ones from Lovecraft's stories, than all of this is a lie and anythings she says can't be taken too seriously.

Yasaka Mahiro – Is a 17 year-old boy that is currently living alone because his parents are away on their 17^th honeymoon to celebrate their 17^th anniversary. However his life got extremely complicate from the moment that Nyaruko save his life, and start to live with him.

Yoichi – Is Friends with Mahiro, and is very kind. Although he has yet to learn of the insanity that is surrounding his friend. Currently there just isn't enough information to make any real conclusion on his character.

Kurei – Appears to be another one of Mahiro friends, although he regards her as an annoyance by giving her the nickname “The Walking Speaker”. However it is difficult to say what sort of impact she will have on the story, since we have really only been introduce to her character.

Kuuko – She is a Cthugha, which are define by being call “Living Flame”. It appears that they are the archnemsis of Nyaruko's race. Also she is a bit strange because she has been in love with Nyaruko since kindergarten. Although I guess that isn't saying much considering that she is in love with Nyaruko.

Shanta-kun – Is Nyaruko's pet, that is somewhere between a bat and a pterodactyl. It also seems like he has the some magical ability that allows for him to transform, this also seems to includes machines as well. However as far as combat ability goes it is non-existent, it appears that Nyaruko keeps him around just because he is cute.

Summary

Things start with a some ominous foreshadowing, it appears that this man bares a grudge against Nyaruko and if they want to blame someone for their demises than they should blame Nyaruko. After Mahiro deals with the morning insanity from Nyaruko, they head off to school. However upon arriving it turns out there is an unpleasant surprise awaiting them. It seems that last weeks enemy Kuuko, has decided to transfer into Mahiro's class and this turn of events is very displeasing for Nyaruko. They take the conversation outside the classroom, it appears to Kuuko has resigned from Nadoes and is now work for the planetary defense force. It seems she was able to not just get the job with them but also get assign as Nyaruko partner, because her Uncle is a high ranking officer.

Then with the explanation that she isn't a threat anymore, things progress toward defining how Kuko is going to work herself into Mahiro's and Nyaruko's daily lifes. First thing is that it has created an odd love triangle. Where Nyaruko is in love with Mahiro but Kuuko is in love with Nyaruko while Mahiro hopes that Kuuko is going to take Nyaruko away. What this creates is a situation where Nyaruko sexually harasses Mahiro while Kuuko sexually harasses Nyaruko. Then with this amusing relationship defined, most of the rest of the episode is about Nyaruko trying to push off Kuuko advances. While all this is going on the mysterious figure from the beginning is making his way toward Nyaruko, however he appears to be completely incompetent because the police are pursuing him under the assumption that he is a panty theft.

He finally take an active role in the story when he is climbing the wall of the gym where Kuuko and Nyaruko are swimming inside, however he has the misfortune of being hit by the flying crow-bar that missed Kuuko. Then because of this his patience and orders his minions to attack, they are quickly beaten by an angry chain-saw welding Nyaruko for injuring Mahiro. This leads to this man directly confronting Nyaruko, but he wasn't planning on her driving out of school on a motorcycle. This event informs us of the fact that this man is her brother Nyaro-nii, although he gets run-over in the process. Then with the most current enemy defeat, things seem to end well. However it turns out that his mother is coming home from her honeymoon, and the house is a mess thanks to Nyaruko and Kuuko. Although what makes things worse is that she is just half a minute away from the house. What I find strange about this is if you are that close why are you even bather calling. That interesting question is what fate awaits Mahiro, with the arrival of his mother.

Characters

Summary

Things start in where Nyaruko is protect Mahiro against another alien attack. Then after she blows them up with a grenade, Mahiro question why she just doesn't destroy their home-base. Then to answer his question something special happens and time appears to freeze. It seems that the reason that Nyaruko has been unable to attack them directly is that she has been waiting for the stars to aline so that they could travel to R'lyeh which is the city of Cthulu Mythos. That in this city there is an illegal auction house, which I find this a bit questionable to officially run an illegal auction house. Doesn't that seem to be a bit of contradiction. Although before they entire this place Nyaruko gives Mahiro a box that is suppose to offer him some-sort of protection.

It appears that the criminal organization that was trying to capture Mahiro, knew that Nyaruko would come so they had a plan to separate Mahiro and Nyaruko. This plan was to hire Nyaruko arch-nemesis Kuko, to keep her busy while they auction off Mahiro. Although through most of the fight Kuko overwhelms Nyaruko, by using mobile lasers that are controlled through telekinesis. When Nyaruko is defeated, Kuko seeks to dominate her sexually. The reason is that she has been in love with her since kindergarten, and doesn't really care about the fact that their species are enemies. However when Kuko finds out that Nyaruko is in love with Mahiro, and express her desire to kill the competition. Only then does Nyaruko gets serious. That means until Kuko threaten to kill Mahiro, Nyaruko had no intention of being serious in the fight.

Then while this is going on, they are about to start the auction. That is until Mahiro remembers about the box that Nyaruko gave him. It turns out that, it is some-sort of portal or teleportation device. This allows for Nyaruko to get out of the dimension that she was trapped in with Kuko. Then with her appearance it cause everyone to flee except the ring-leader. Then we find-out what they wanted Mahiro for, that he was to take part in a boys-love show based on a girls-manga. Which interesting enough fits in very well with the insane image that the series creates. Then with everything resolved it appears that Mahiro will never see Nyaruko ever-again, with them saying their good-byes. Then with his life returning to normal he heads home a little depressed. While this doesn't last long because it turns out that Nyaruko was there waiting for him. It seems that he is still under protect even though the current threat was eliminated.
