Rokujouma no Shinryakusha - ep09

Things return to the moment after yurika has fallen, and in Koutarou's grief it seems that he has awakened something within Sakuraba. That this cause the raise of her second personality who bestows Koutarou with a magical sword. That with this sword in hand he effortlessly defeats Maki forcing her to flee. Although in her defeat she goes after room 106 to obtain the strength to defeat Koutarou however can't give chase immediately because Yurika's condition takes priority. That while Yurika is recovering they hear her life story and how she was save by Mana and how this leaded her to take Mana's place when she lost her power in protecting her.

Then as they are heading off to face Maki Koutarou tells Yurika about why he didn't want to accept the truth about her. That with all the strangeness going on around him he selfishly wished that Yurika was normal and there is also the fact that he felt that she was unfit to fight. The rematch with Maki is interesting with her possesing some of the magic from room 106 but this time Yurika has more faith in herself since she is acting in more of a supporting role this time. Although without the sword things don't go as smoothly as they did last time.

Then when it appears that they are finished, Sanae returns with the other residence of room 106. What is interesting is how angry Theia is over what Maki did to Koutarou. That this leads to her having her ship up in space directly attack Maki. That in the end she losses complete sense of herself and everything around her. That she only wants Maki to pay for harming Koutarou even if this means wiping out the apartment building. Although this end result is averted by Shizuka the landlord getting involved. It is kind of funny that the person that truly seen Maki packing is the Landlord and not any of the extraordinary people that Koutarou is involved with. That in her escape Maki wipes everyone's memories so that no-one will remember the truth about Yurika. Things end with Koutarou going on a date with Sakuraba but it also appears that Koutarou hasn't completely forgotten. The question is what will happen when Maki returns.
