Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - ep26

Things begin with Tatsuya and his comrades taking to the front-lines. That with him joining the action it makes their forces undefeated because he is able to resurrect anyone that falls in battle combine with his capacity to wipe thing from existence. This also leads to the enemy to name him after Mahesvara, who is a Buddhist god who rules over the third realm or our plan of existence. Which is the key force that cause the enemy to feel because can you defeat a god or even the army that is back by one. Then with the enemy retreating the attack is call of for now.

This returns us to Miyuki who is force to explain what Tatsuya did because they are not as willing to let this go as they were about his involvement in the military. In the end Miyuki only tells them what they need to know to get them to drop this issue. That the magic he used was cause regrowth that because of it he isn't able to use other magics as freely. That with it he is able to rewrite the current edios with a previous existing copy up to 24-hours in the past, which results in it erase the injury from existence. However he is force to endure everything that person suffered through up to that point, but in telling them about regrowth Miyuki neglect to mention his skill at decomposition.

Then once Miyuki finish revealing one of Tatsuya's many secerts, it appears that the invaders are making one final charge for the Magical instuted with Lu Gonghu leading the assult. It seems that in the end he gets to have his rematch with Mari, although this time Tatsuya's friend help out as well but interestingly enough Miyuki is missing during this confrontation. In the end even without her they still manage to take him down. Although later we see the reason on why Miyuki is missing because Mizuki has warn her of another threat inside the building, and she is able to capture him because of the advice that Tatsuya gave her.

Now with the last of the spies dealt with things return to Tatsuya and his elimination of the fleeing enemy. That to do this they bring out the Third-Eye that mention back in the previous arc, and with it he uses Material Burst to wipe it out. Now with this the forward assault is dealt with but it seems that Great Asian Alliance hasn't given up because a navel force is preparing to depart from China. There is also the issue that their navy is just now gathering their force and will be in no position to intercept. This means they only can wait for the enemy to arrive then engage them with air and ground force. This is undesirable so instead they will have Tatsuya wipe them out with Material Burst, and with the threat has been eliminated.

Now that things have come to a close this concludes the series for now but it seems that they still have plans to continue the series. First you have the introduction of the Shadow support of the invasion Zhou Gong Jin, which set thing up for the next arc. Also you have the impeding meeting between Kazuma and Maya Yotsuba. Then there is also the question of how did Tatsuya join the military, along side the fact that the battle of Yokohama is going to make the existence of mages even more important then they ever were before. Which means this is only the closing of the curtain on the first act, the only question how long will it be before the second act begins.

Rokujouma no Shinryakusha - ep12

This final episode feels more like a stopping point than a true conclusion. That it exists more to clarify the change in relationship between Koutarou and the invaders. That this is done with Koutarou getting another part-time job to pay for the surprised Christmas party that he wants to throw for these invaders that have become part of his family. Although he plan for throwing this party at school in the club room doesn't exactly go as plan. Since it seems the invaders had similar idea and used makenji to sabotage Koutarou's party so that he has to come home. Which results in the surprise being on him rather than the other way around.

Also in the end this episode is more like a status update, as well as showing that they have completely dropped the original premise of the series which will allow for things to go in a new direction. Then in the end as they are preparing for the second half of Theia's play were this time she is playing the lead role. There is still the issue of the previous defeated enemies are still hanging around. That it is implying that nothing is truly finished and there is the question why does Sakuraba remember who she once was although Koutarou does not. In the end is this unresolved ending the true finish or is there more to come under a different title.

Aldnoah Zero - ep12

In the aftermath of Deucalion's crash they try to group, it appears that the ship is unsalvageable that everyone on board has to left behind. Also the pilot of Princess-1 is dead so Yuki take his place to see that the mission is completed. Things get much worse because as soon as they regroup Saazbaum returns to finish the job. However Inaho faces off against him alone as he send them off ahead. Once again Inaho proves that he is the most effective weapon against the martians since he force Saazbaum to recall his armaments saving Rayet but that doesn't stop Seylum's aid from being captured. That with all of his parts return to him Saazbaum is really fitting for the last boss.

This is even more true since he possess all the ability of every enemy that Inaho has defeated. However this makes Saazbaum more bark and less bite. That is because the ability contridicte which cause him to have more cinch in his armor than the others did since the where over specialized. That with this it doesn't take long for Inaho to strip him of his power armor. That to aid insult to injury Inaho toss Saazbaum his gun, but this was only bait so that he could link up with his power armor to finish the job. That in the end Slaine saves Saazbaum with Cruhteo's armor, just as Seylum turns off Saazbaum's aldnoah.

This results in a horrible ending with them crashing into the Aldnoah room. That gives Saazbaum to opportunity to kill Selyum even-though he was essentially defeat. That through Slaine's hatred for Inaho cause him to ultimately cause the very thing that he was trying to prevent in the first place. That with her death he first blames Saazbaum the one that shot her by shooting him in return. That to this end it seems that Slaine was his pawn this entire time, that through his action granted his wish as well as giving him the death he desired. That Slaine turns to kill Inaho because he see that he was the other party responsibility for her death but in doing so completely ignores his part in her death. That with this it appears that he disappears with Selyum's corpse. Now with this the first season has end and the things for the second season looks bleak with Inaho and Seylum both dead, unless somehow it turns out that they are not as dead as they appear to be. The question when the series start up again at the beginning of next year, how will they manage without Inaho or will they find some way to bring him back from the dead.

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - ep25

Things began from a different point than what I was expecting, with things not starting off where things left off last time with Miyuki unsealing Tatsuya's powers and having to explain why they were sealed in the first place. They dodge this bullet by jumping ahead and put emphasis on the evacuation. The first they conclude things with having Nakajo's group reach the shelter however because of the action above it end up sealing the entrance but not before they manage to get inside. Although this is going to cause problems for Miyuki's group that is traveling above because they will have no way inside.

Then you have others that are departing for the ship that is going to arrive at the harbor, but some people like Ichijo and Jyumonji have decide to remain behind to join the main defense in protecting the Magic institute in Yokohama from these invaders. This brings us to the final wave of evacuation with Mayumi and Shizuku calling in helicopters to evacuate the last of those that remained behind because of their inability to enter the shelter. This leads to the creation of two groups that will operate as forward defenders until they can be airlifted out. This also leads to Tatsuya first mission is to work as protection as they leave the area.

That during these battles Tatsuya learns of the identity of the enemy is the asia alliance which is kind of obvious since they have been his enemy since the first arc in some form or another. Although this time it is more direct with the Asia alliance using the Sorcery Booster that are made by No-headed Dragon the enemy from last time. Since they are being use to power the enemies mechs. Then things enter into the final hour as Helicopters arrive but Tatsuya protects them effortlessly from both magical and conventional attacks.

The real problem occurs when they are air lifting their forward defenders, although things go fine with Tatsuya's group of friends since they don't lower their guard even-though things are almost over for them. Things that caused a problem are with the bloom group that lower their guard as soon as they receive word that their ride has arrived. This carelessness leads to Kirihara and Kei getting taken out as they push the girls behind cover. Although they are avenge by Miyuki as she retaliates, and seeing the condition that they are in she calls for Tatsuya. Which doesn't take him long to arrive, which leads to him saving their lives by reverting them to the point before they were injured. That with this the evacuation is completed and the last episode is going to be about Tatsuya going on a war path as he tears through the enemy. The question is there plans to do the prequel series that will explain how Tatsuya join the 101st as well as became Torus Silver.

Rokujouma no Shinryakusha - ep11

Then as Koutarou and Kiriha's date begins it mostly about creating the atmosphere so that she can properly explain things to Koutarou. Although we have a classic moment of their pursuers following the messing up Ruth notices a Rhinoceros beetle ranger poster and go berserk. This leads us to the moment where Kiriha and Koutarou ride the Ferris-wheel so that they can be alone. Here Koutarou learns about Kiriha's first and only love, that he took her around on the the rides they went on today. That he was about the same age as they are now, however it is obvious that it was Koutarou but the question become how did he get set 10 years into the past. The other issue is when Kiriha remembers his face what will she do. Although because of her love of this man is the reason she wanted to do a peaceful invasion. This is also why she acted the way she did when the first met, is because for her plan to succeed she could neither win nor lose room 106. That this ideal embodies the direction the series was going in where no-ones goals contradicted, and they could reach their end through understanding.

Now with the truth reveal it comes down to Kiriha's nemesis Shijima Tayuma making his appearance. That his whole plan is by killing the commander Kiriha and making it look like she fell at the hands of a surface dweller it will give his faction the drive it needs the begin their forceful invasion. Then the battle begins and only really gets serious when he summons his servant, although it is not long after this that the others make their appearance to help drive Kiriha's enemy away. Now with everything finished Kiriha requests that Koutarou spend time with her at the amusement park again. Although her reject because he believe that the next time she comes that it should be with her love that she came here to find. Then towards this end Koutarou offers to help her in this because they are friends. Now with this arc finished the question becomes how will the series end because there are quiet a few issue that are unresolved. It looks like they will end things with a status update of where everyone is in the takeover of the room. Which would be a nice place to end things as they prepare to end the first season are transition into continuing the series into the Fall. It seems that this series has been just on long introduction, and the enemies are defeated but they are not gone. Although next time will determine the direction they will go in.

Aldnoah Zero - ep11

That with Seylum's failure to call a ceasefire the battle begins, and instead of the final assault being composed of multiple landing castles only Saazbaum's makes the assault. That once things began earths defense don't last long and fighting breaks out. Also while this is happening other are face with dilemma of this immediate response. The one that it hit the hardest is Seylum because it is their rejection of her. That in the end the value more what they will gain from this war than any loyalty that they ever had for her. The other one that is shock by this response is Magbaredge with the martians complete disregard for their princess. However Marito isn't all that surprised because it is following the old tradition of war, to take what you want by force.

Although through this attack they end up turning Seylum against them. This also gives the survivors of earth the greatest advantage since Seylum can shut down the Aldnoah drive inside Saazbuam's castle stopping the attack. This leads Inaho plan for a counter-attack which is to use the Seylum to shut it down. However before this can happen Seylum needs to board, which towards this end she is assisted by her aid. Then in her time of need Rayet comes to save her allowing for her to board the Deucalion, which cause them to stay behind. The greatest irony of all this is Slaine goes down after her only to be left behind as Deucalion ascends out of the base to go on the counter attack. He would been better off staying inside Count Saazbaum castle.

Now as Deucalion ascends to the stratosphere to being the counter attack. First decoys are deploy as cover. Then as they are destroyed Inaho and the others will launch. That it is only once their assault is entering into it's final phase when the Princess is going to launch do they notice that something is wrong. That they are this close to the enemy base but there is no radio interference. That it is then that Saazbaum makes a direct attack on Deucalion. That this is done for two reasons one is his desire to kill Seylum and the other is to get his vengeance because he see Deucalion as an abomination because it uses his fiance's Aldnoah. Since the Deucalion is going down the captain has the ship plow into Saazbaum's landing castle, Which ultimately gives Seylum a safer route to her destination. It looks like Saazbaum will meet his end at the hands of Cruhteo machine, and it appears that it will be piloted by Inaho. The question is how will this battle end and will those left behind survive.  

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - ep24

Now with the attack on the conference beginning, it leads to Tatsuya showing his true potential. It is interesting that among everyone there Tatsuya is the first to act when soldiers break into the conference hall. This cause him to act in-front of everyone present unlike before where very few aware of his actions. That through ruthlessly cutting down this single enemy shakes up the rest of the forces while also rallying the others to act against the invaders. Then despite Tatsuya action you have Kichijoji speaking out against Tatsuya for supposedly using classified magic from another country. Although it turns out that Kichijoji false assumption works in Tatsuya's favor because correcting him would be much worse.

Then from there they move to deal with the rest of the invaders that are being suppress at the front gate. Although Tatsuya wants to act on his own but his friends tag along partly out of concern however they want a piece of the action. This doesn't turn out so well for Leo since Tatsuya has to be excessively forceful to prevent him for killing himself. That with the others there he can't act the way he wants so instead Tatsuya aids Miyuki with his elemental sight so that she can freeze the guns with pinpoint accuracy. That this done they can now act clearing the way for the others to evacuate to the shelters. That when tatsuya raises the issue he would like more information on what is going on Shizuku brings them to the VIP room that is used special meetings.

That from there they learn that this attack is more broad then just striking at this single location. Also that while seeing what is going on Tatsuya discovers a problem with the evacuation plan if they intended to use the underground passage. Since it isn't an isolate path because other tunnels connect to it and where these tunnels entrance are located near some of the enemies location. Which makes it highly likely that if they use these tunnels they will be attack enroute. It seems as they are returning to inform the others of what is going on, They stop by First High School waiting room to destroy the research. That it is there that meet with Mayumi and the others. That it is through this meeting that Tatsuya learns that they already start the evacuation through the tunnels. When this issue is comes does he raise his concerns about them being attack en-route to the shelters.

Once the data is destroy, they return to the conference room to assess the situation. That it is then the second wave commences with a second suicide attack. However it doesn't take long for Tatsuya to become aware of it and Mayumi is only aware of it because of Tatsuya's actions. That because of this she is able to see what Tatsuya does to. That after this occurs does 101 independent brigade makes it's appearance. That through there appearance they reveal Tatsuya association with them. That before Tatsuya leaves to join the fight Miyuki unseals Tatsuya's powers. The question is how will they responded to these to secrets being revealed since they know but can't talk about it and how much will Miyuki answer their questions. Although the other question now that Tatsuya is free to act what is his true potential.

Rokujouma no Shinryakusha - ep10

Now we have reach Kiriha's arc and things get started with her getting them involved in a hero show that the neighborhood association is putting on. Although they all help out Koutarou is a bit displeased about this since this means more special training by Theia. That through doing this show it causes us to encounter what appears to be Kiriha's enemy for this arc which is the Sun Rangers. However for the enemy Koutarou deals with them fairly easily by become outraged that they are all the same color. Which results with them getting booed of the stage by the childern and it gives the true hero time to make their appearance.

In the end through this interaction with Kiriha doing the hero show and later seeing Kiriha help clean up the shopping district Koutarou finally she her true character. That in the end she doesn't want to invade that ultimately she is just too nice. Although there other things going on behind the scene with the inclusion of this radical faction that find forceful direct action more desirable. Then you have a father that wants Kiriha to return home so that she can start looking for a husband. The question is that will Kiriha have to deal with to separate enemy force, or is the real threat more of this radical faction. That in the end will the Sun Rangers just end up being a joke. Then you also have the other stalking Kirha and Koutarou as they leave for what appears to be a date. The question is this date with Kiriha her way of saying goodbye.

Aldnoah Zero - ep10

The first order of business in this episode is the resurrection of Seylum, and towards this end it doesn't take Inaho long to figure out what happened to her once the ship crashes. Although it isn't instantaneous he does manage to revive Seylum. This results in Rayet having to take responsibility for her action, while also revealing who she truly is. This leads to the explanation of all the long bloody chain of event that she blames Seylum for. However truthfully her father decide to assassination Seylum but he never thought that someone would silence him in return. That in the end everyone is only responsible for their action. In the same way that Rayet action until now has lead her to side with them, the issue is that her future action will determine whether or not she is their ally.

Then you have Slaine situation with Count Saazbaum, and it is through him that we see the other side of the war. It turns out that the flying battleship was built using the parts from his finance's machine. That fifteen years ago during the war they were a part of the advance fleet that land on earth. That when the space gate on the moon exploded taking to moon with it. The gravitation distortion that it caused nullified her Aldnoah which ultimately leaded to her death and her machine falling in the hands of the terrains. That through these events Saazbaum was forced to abandon her and leaving her to the fate that awaited her. That it is through Saazbaum war story that it also learn the reason that the war started. That they were jealous of earth and their abundance of natural resources, which leaded the current ruler to his campaign of dehumanization of earthlings. That leaded them to believe that martians were genetically superior, that they had the divine right to take what the earthlings had because they were lesser beings. This leads to the doubt that Seylum actions will be able to stop the war.

This leads to Seylum making her declaration that she is alive once the reach Earth HQ, but as it turns out that this base is earths last line of defense. That if this place falls they are finished, this is implied even more so with how the base was stocked with three years worth of supplies but as it turns out they have a surplus because so few actual made it there. Then as things turn out it appears that Seylum's announcement is the raising of her death flag and the signaling the start of the final battle. This is further implied with Saazbaum last act of kindness to Slaine by setting him free, that he can join the battle or runaway to his princess. That her message will never reach mars because of their collaborates on the moon base. That it doesn't matter anymore if she is alive because no-one among them wish the war to stop. Now with thing approaching their final conclusion situation for Inaho looks extremely bleak.

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - ep23

Now they are finally moving towards the convention, but things are still are not quiet resolved yet. First you have the enemies plans to free Lu Gonghu since he is being moved on the same day that the attack is suppose to occur on the convention center. That it is a minor detail of just adding another target to their already existing list of targets for that day. Then you have Ichihara's action in trying to reform Chiaki by lying to her about Tatsuya skills. That she has to potential to surpass Tatsuya because of his lack of skill in dealing with hardware. However she only does this to prevent the loss of a future skilled engineer because it seems like she believes deep down there is no-one that exist that can surpass Tatsuya.

Then you have the final security preparation, first you have Leo and Erika wanting to get involved particularly because of all the training they put in preparing for the convention. Although Tatsuya alleviates their concerns by all but telling them that something is going to happen that nothing is resolved. Then there is Fujibayashi that is recruiting Chiba Toshikazu and his subordinates to attention the convention, while implying that nothing is resolved. Then at the convention it self thing seems be a bit unusual with leads to Juumonji ordering everyone on the security teams to start wearing bulletproof vests. Then you have the confrontation between Haruka and Fujibayashi because of her unhealthy interested in the relationship between Fujibayashi and Tatsuya.

The question is who is Haruka working for since there are quiet a few people that would be interested in Tatsuya. The most likely people are the enemy but the greater issue than Haruka's suppose treasonous act is the fact that Lu Gonghu has been freed. This leads into the competition itself where the First High School is doing their presentation. That in the end the attack begins once their presentation has ended. Now that the real action has begun the question will Tatsuya jump directly into the action or will he stand-back until something ends up setting him off like No-Headed Dragon did. Although there are enough people to engage the enemy so he doesn't need to act immediately, the question is what role will he end up playing.
