Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - ep20

Although initially we are lead to believe that this episode was going to be about saving Sakurasou, in a way it is but on a deep level it is about Ryounosuke and what made him the way he is. Things start out with they trying to get student signatures to save Sakurasou, however it does turn out so well so far. The reason being is that they need two-thirds of the students to Sign but the third years are not in school currently, that means that they are going to need everyone from first and second year to sign. Which looks doubtful since most of the student don't care because it really doesn't effect them in any way. This lead to Ryounosuke showing up and informing Kanada of why they are tearing down Sakurasou. The School believe that Sakurasou is a poor influence on Mashiro and she is wasting her talent by drawing Manga. That by destroying Sakurasou they will leaded her back down her rightful path. This means that the easy way to remove to problem is if Mashiro leaves, and the fact is that Kanada doesn't want anyone to leave.

This cause Ryounosuke to remind Kanada of the truth, that even if they do save Sakurasou it still wouldn't be the same as it is now. The fact is that Jin and Misaki are graduating. Then there is also the fact that Nanami is leaving so as well, because if she passed then she will be moving in with the Seiyuu agency. On the other hand if she fail then she will be moving back to Osaka. That even if Kanada does succeed in saving Sakurasou, it would still not change the reality that next year the only ones left there will be Mashiro, Sorata, and himself. Ryounosuke feels that he should really look back on what he really should be doing with his time. However although Sorata understand what Ryounosuke is saying, it does change the fact that they still want to save it. Ryounosuke also reminds Sorata that he can't confront the school about their reason, because they information was illegally obtained. There is also they fact that it is doubtful that it would change anything. This solid truth is made all the more real for Sorata when Nanami gets her letter from the agency telling her that she is rejected, and this makes it clear that Nanami really won't be here next year.

The from here there is a bit more focus on Ryounosuke on why he isn't doing anything to help. This is made clear when Rita hears about what is going on there from Mashiro. Then in knowing the trouble that Ryounosuke is facing, she tries to contact him. Although he won't answer, but after awhile she gets a bit of Ryounosuke story on why he is at Sakurasou. That in middle school he tried to make a game with some friends but the end up abandoning him because of his high expectation of them. Then from hearing this Rita can related to what he went through because she went through something similar with Mashiro. Although she believe that it would be a mistake on his part to not protect Sakurasou, because he finally has a place where he belong and people accept him. Then after she has a talk with him, he goes about creating a website to help with the gathering of signatures. Now it seems that everyone's on board to save Sakurasou, however the ending was a bit ominous from Mashiro. It could be that she is planning to sacrifice herself to save Sakurasou in case that don't get enough signatures. There is another direction they could go in, by having Sorata and Mashiro rent an apartment together with Ryounosuke. This would make where even if Sakurasou is destroyed, the school will fail in trying to obtain it's object but it doubtful that they would end the series that way.

Ore no Kanojo to Osanamiji ga Shuraba Sugiru - ep08

Things start out with Eita giving his report to Masuzu, however even-though Eita does believe she has a boyfriend. Masuzu on the other hand is unwillingly to believe this fact, and is unwilling to do so until she see the person in question. Ironically Masuzu is correct in her assumption, but she has no way of knowing this. Therefore Masuzu continues her plan going in a different direction, that instead of proving the existence of Ai boyfriend. Masuzu instead intents to blackmail Ai by getting evidence of her cheating on her boyfriend with Eita. However Masuzu doesn't realize that it would also invalidate Eita identity as her boyfriend.

Although it appears that it isn't going to be too difficult for Eita to get Ai to fall for him, since she is already in love with him. They highlight this point by emphasizing the fact that Ai is trying out the love charm that Chiwa read to Eita in one of her magazines. The focus on this further when Ai tries ask Eita to go out with her for the summer festival, however he turns her down because he already has plans to study that night. Since Kaoru who is with them at the time see that this is going no-where fast, changes the direction of the conversation by asking Eita to go with the movies with them. In the end Eita agrees to go to the movies with them.

When Masuzu hears about this, she wants to use this as an opportunity to blackmail Ai. That Eita is to use this chance to seduce Ai, although it doesn't make much sense on why she is trying to get the other involved. It just seems a little counter-productive, there is a chance that Masuzu just doesn't care if her plan success or not. Then on the day they go to the movies together, for some reason Chiwa invites herself along. However it is during this walk that we find out why Ai is interested in Eita, the she knew him all the way back in kindergarten. That their time together must have been something really special to her. On the other hand it seems like Eita doesn't remember want she is talking about, but now we know why she interested in Eita as well as why she disbanded the club. That she wants to put distance between him and all the other women in his life. That her dilemma is further reflected in the movie that the four of them watched together. Where Eiji (Eita) is torn between his childhood friend China (Chiwa) and another woman name Ami (Ai) that he knew long before he ever met China. Things end with Masuzu plan failing because it was too dark to take any picture, and it not like she even really care that it failed. Also the way things are developing it seem that it is only going to be a matter of time before Ai is going to have to come clean with everything. The only question is when she does what sort of firework will end of flying.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - ep08

It seems that their intent with this episode is to define how things have change this the absents of the Maou. They get start early with the use of the ring of illusion that the Maou left them, in trying to see if the Merchant could see through the illusion. Although he was capable of seeing through it, he explains the reason was quite simple intuition. That further more he understand the need to keep up appearances. Then from here Yuusha decides to trust the merchant, and let him in on the secret. This results in Yuusha taking the merchant to gate city, where he go about showing him the only city that both races coexist. Then later as they are having a drink together, Yuusha wants to hear his view on the city. When the Merchant comments that it is the orchard where the golden fruit goes, this leaves Yuusha to believe that he made the right decision to bring him hear. That with this in mind he is going to leave the city in his care because from meeting the Maou, Yuusha believe that merchants might be the first to try and find something beyond profit and loss.

Then from here we transition back to the human world where, it seems that tense are rising. The reason for this is that the church has called the Crimson Scholar a heretic. However from the merchants perspective we see that there are is a deeper political agenda going on here. It could be that this attack has been put into action by either the White-night King that what revenge against the Winter King for stealing what he felt should have been his victory. There is also the probability that central has put the church up to this because they see what the Crimson Scholar as a threat to their dominance over the southern nations. However whoever is pressuring the church doesn't really matter in the end, the question is how are they going to get out of this problem. Although Yuusha has time to come up with a plan since, the winter king came to warn them about whats going on. That it seems currently the only plan that they have is to allow them to capture the Maou then rescue her after she cross the winter kings border so that his kingdom would be free of guilt.

Zetsuen no Tempest - ep19

It seem before we get to Yoshino confronting Mahiro about his relationship with Aika, there is a bit of focus on the fight between Megumu and Hakaze. Where things are getting set in place for the grand finally. It seems that across the span of time that Yoshino has been looking for Mahiro, it appears that Hakaze has let most of the fruit of exodus fly except one. That as long as that final fruit doesn't rejoin the tree, that neither exodus or Megumu can reach their full power. However before Hakaze goes to join up with Yoshino she meets with Yamamoto to hear about her theory on the trees. Then from her explanation it seem that she believe that both Exodus and Genesis are part of the same system. That they exist to prevent our society from evolving past a certain point. Than there is also the issue about magic, that Hakaze tries to make a point that they don't use some alien technology but magic. Although Yamamoto has a different perspective on that point, since if technology evolves to a certain point than it become indistinguishable from magic. Then before they move on to Yoshino and Mahiro, Hakaze makes a request from Yamamoto to have her barrel and doll retrieved from Mt. Fuji.

It seems after Megumu revealed who might have been Yoshino girlfriend, it seems that Mahiro left his cell-phone behind give everyone else no way to contact him. That includes Yoshino, it is either ironic or by a stroke of luck that Yoshino runs into Mahiro in a cemetery. In a similar way in how it plays out in hamlet. It seems as the story continues forward the main driving force is still Aika. Although when Yoshino bluntly admits to being Aika's boyfriend, it gets little to no reaction from Mahiro. However the reason for this is that the major shock was already deliver by Megumu, that Mahiro's reaction would be completely different if Yoshino himself toll Mahiro while Aika was still alive. That maybe it doesn't even really matter to Mahiro anymore since Aika is dead, that what ever either of them had felt for her no-longer matters since she is no-longer her to receive those feelings. However it would have been interesting to see how the first started to date, but they might be saving that for another time since it seem that Hakaze has something brewing.

Then with everyone coming together under one roof, this leave Yoshino to rearrange the living arrangements. Since both Hakaze and Yoshino will be living here now, although it seems Hakaze is bold enough to declare that she would mind sharing a room with Yoshino. More than likely she desire to share a lot more than just a room, it seem now with the truth out in the open Yoshino is more truthful about what he thought about Aika. It seems in comparing Aika to Hakaze, nothing but complaints are coming out of his mouth. Which raise the question further what lead to Yoshino dating her in the first place. Although it seem that before things can go any further with dealing with the trees, the truth about Aika must be determine. That how this is going to be discover is that Hakaze is going to travel into the past to witness first hand how she died, because this will finally answer the question also if she is really dead. I still believe that she alive, and that she is the true mage of exodus. In the end whatever we might expect the truth to be, it might be something that no-one expects.

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - ep19

Now with the news that the school is going to tear down Sakurasou revealed, the immediate reaction is outrage that they must stop it some how. However Jin advise everyone to think about what there doing, that by the time this happens both him and Misaki will be gone. It seems that they will also allow for Kanada to move back into the dorms with all his cats, which is kind suspicious since they were to original reason for getting him sent to Sakurasou. There is also the fact that they had an investigation on the condition of the dorm behind their backs, almost as if someone has some thing to achieve by destroying Sakurasou.

However everyone decide to take a step back and tries to decide what is best for them selves. While this is going on Mashiro retreats with Sorata back to his room. It is here it where sort tries to explain to Mashiro what is going to happen, although surprisingly it appears that she understand. However it appears that she doesn't since she isn't aware of the fact the boys and girls live in separate dorms, that boys are not even allowed to go into the girls dorm. This means he will not be able to take care of her like he has been, but before they get into this issue any deeper Mashiro discovers a photo of when Sorata first moved into Sakurasou.

This leads us into the story on how it was like for Sorata when he first moved here. That the first person he meet was Misaki who was sleeping in his closet, then for her to wake up and think you are a thief. This leads to Sorata having his first off the wall conversation with Misaki, the from all the noise that they are making Chihiro-Sensei appears. It seems from her perspective she doesn't care what they do, and leave as if nothing happened. Then Jin comes along and introduces himself as if there is nothing wrong with what Misaki's doing. It takes awhile but things settle down, however when he hears something at the end of the hall. Sorata goes to investigate believing it might be Jin or Chihiro but in his surprise he finds himself a ghost which later Chihiro explains to him is Akasaka Ryounosuke. It a nice little story which tells us how Sorata met each of the original residents of Sakurasou before Nanami or Mashiro came along.

This gets back to the question of saving Sakurasou, that even though he might have want to leave originally. Sakurasou is something precious to him now, and he has a lot of memories here. It seems that the others feel the same way. Although it seems that they main reason that has Ryounosuke involved is that they are trying to hide something, and if they really had a good reason to suddenly tear down Sakurasou then their would be no need to hide it. That if this is so they might be able to use this to save Sakurasou. The only thing I could think of would be, they could potential being pressured by Mashiro's father. It seems like he is the only one that could really profit from the destruction of Sakurasou, by removing the only place that Mashiro could really live. This would force her to return to England without appearing as if he had anything to do with it. The question remains that the school is inpatient for some reason, while also trying to do it in a way that will create as little noise as possible.

Ore no Kanojo to Osanamiji ga Shuraba Sugiru - ep07

Things pick up from an odd point, instead of starting off with Fuyuumi Ai disbanding the club. They begin with Eita resting in a medical bed in the nurse office with a naked Himeka. This could pontenial create all sort of misunderstands, so he has Hime talk to Masuzu and Chiwa while he hides. They kind of buy the Hime excuse or at least Chiwa does but Masuzu doesn't pursue it further since she notices Eita is hiding behind the currents. Then before this goes any further Ai confronts them about behind together even-though she already disbanded their club. This leads to a conflict between them on why she disbanded their club, that it was out of jealousy. Which leads to strange conversation where she declare that she already has a boyfriend so that their would be no reason for her to jealous of them.

Although regardless of the reason Eita is happy because now he can spend all of his time again focusing on his studies. Now starting off his summer vacation Eita starts attending a college prep school, it seem coincidental that Ai is going to be going to the same school as well as begin in his class. Then from this interaction, we begin to see that Ai's action where less than noble. That her disbanding of the club and her harsh treatment of Chiwa was to allow her to get closer to Eita. It isn't until later that Eita finds out that his friend Kaoru is childhood friends with Ai. That later it is apparent that Ai is using his friendship with Kaoru to get closer to him or to be more accurte Kaoru is using his friendship with Eita to help Ai become closer with Eita.

However things become more complicated when Masuzu seems intent on using Eita new relationship with Ai, to have Eita find something to blackmail Ai with before vacation is over. Since it seems that she does know how to get along with others, and has no desire to seek any sort of compromise. Ironically in a way he does as Masuzu wish, although unintentionally by getting closer to Ai. However it seems that Masuzu lack of faith in Eita compromise her own intentions, when she ends up sending in Chiwa and Hime for information. That things would have went better if she would have just let Eita be alone with Ai. However the greatest problem for Ai to overcome is the problem that she create when she lie about having a boyfriend. What is going to be interesting is how Ai relationship with Eita is going to progress.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - ep07

It seems that they main purpose of this episode is the create a transition to move on to the next big arc of the story. That before this is done they need to focus in on a couple keep points. First you have the settle back into a peaceful life by things start to get out of control again. However before this happens Yuusha needs to return to the Gate City for the celebration that they are going to be having. It is the first step towards demons and humans coexisting. Although Maou isn't too please with the fact that he will be going since the dragon princess will be there too. It appears that Maou has a valid reason for this concern since she already consider herself to be his wife with out his consent. Then when a quake shacks both the demon and human world, things start to shape in a different direction.

It seems that the earthquake, is because the Maou has been neglecting her duties, and that now she must make preparation to return. However she has been expecting that she would need to return sometime, so that in someways she has been preparing Big-sis to work as her body double in the event that she needs to be gone. That she will be able to deal with most of anything that might come, and also to this end she gives her a magic ring so that she can look the part. However Yuusha is a bit concerned about her leaving and wonders if he should go with her, but Maou reject the idea because there really isn't anything that he could do for her. Even so he is currently need here more, so he can't really leave.

Then the last issue that the cover is a build up towards an internal struggle between the southern nations. It seems with the winter kings success in taking back the bright light island, the White-night Kingdom has grown discontent. That he seems to be planning something to strike back at the Winter Kingdom. The towards this end he has even recruited the dishonored general that deserted Gate City in the demon world. That it seems like they are willing to sacrifice anythings to satisfy their own greedy ambitions. The question is how will they threaten Maou's goal of Humans and Demons coexistence.

Zetsuen no Tempest - ep18

Now with Yoshino's secret out, people will have to come to grips with how this single truth changes everything. This single fact changes a lot of things for Samon, that he can not predict the direction that the future is going in. It almost as if Aika's very death disrupted the world's order, which would almost suggest that maybe the Tree of Exodus kill her and for some reason if just so happen to benefit the Tree of Genesis as well. Then there is how it has impacted Hakaze, with the realization that Yoshino's girlfriend die because of her. However Hakaze can't understand why he would even want to help her when by all rights he should hate her because she is responsible for Aika's death. Yoshino doesn't feel the same desire for revenge that Mahiro feel because he see it as being pointless. That nothing he does will bring Aika back, so instead he wants her death to have purpose.

This reveals to Hakaze the depths of Yoshino's pain, that because they kept their relationship a secret he wasn't even able to morn her passing. That this sets Hakaze down a new path, she can't forgive the Tree of Genesis for causing Yoshino to suffer. That if it turns out that it was responsible for her death, than she will stop at nothing to destroy it. Then when Junichiro comes to see them, the scene between Hakaze and Junichiro clearly defines her intentions toward the tree. Then as Hakaze is preparing to take action, she parts from Yoshino for a time. Then during this parting Yoshino has made his decision to tell Mahiro the truth, what ever the consequences of this action may be.

It seems that the nature in which Hakaze intends is by making Megumu stronger. That in pushing him to his limits every-time he is going to destroy on of the trees, he will hopefully get stronger after every battle. Then towards this end we have a potential idea about the truth identity behind the Tree of Genesis. It Yamamoto believes from the various legends about snakes and dragons that the trees resemble. Leads her to believe that the tree of genesis didn't create anything, that it is an alien weapon designed to wipe away all traces of humanity off the planet. That is kind of extreme to go from magic to god, then to say that the god you worship is an alien weapon intending to exterminate you. Then if it an alien weapon where are the aliens that put it there.

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - ep18

It seems that they have finally decide to resolve the situation between Misaki and Jin. Things progress towards this end when Sorata goes to school to check on his sisters results. This walk to school with Minami and Mashiro highlights another unresolved issue. That there is a increasing closeness between Sorata and Minami that Mashiro is noticing. That because of this Sorata feels kind of bad asking her to draw him some more art, but Mashiro is just overjoyed that Sorata is depending on her for something. This brings us to School where it is as he expected, his sister didn't pass. That after he relays this news to his sister, Sorata receives news that Jin is currently at school. This cause Minami to rush back to the dorms, while Sorata and Mashiro try to keep Jin from leaving.

Once they take Jin up to the roof, Sorata start to tell him how much he admired him. That he can't see why if he loves Misaki why doesn't he just be with her. However what starts the fight between them is that Sorata suggest that if he is unwilling to do so someone else probably with at some-point. This ends up getting to the heart of the matter. That Jin has an inferiority complex, that since his scripts arn't good enough for Misaki than he isn't as well. That is why he is going to Osaka, to put distance between them so that he can grow into the man he needs to be for Misaki's sake as well as his own.

This is when Minami finally arrives with Misaki, however it seems that in her rush to get there Minami brought some uninvited guest with her. This leads to them holding down the door while, Jin and Misaki have a chance to talk. Things get start when Jin brings up the fact that she was always disappointed in his scripts. That the whole point for her coming to this school was to meet other like herself, that she had this opportunity when they worked on Nyaboron. That he wants to become good enough that she request his scripts. Although they will be apart, Jin gives her a ring to reminder of the promise that he will be back for her. In the hopes that it will keep the guys away. Then with Jin returning Misaki's feeling in a way, he is now able to return to Sakurasou. Then as they return home together as the family they once were, they receive some terrible news. That at the end of the semester in two weeks, Sakurasou is going to be torn down. This defines the potential goal for the series finally to try in someway to stop this from happening.

Ore no Kanojo to Osanmiji ga Shuraba Sugiru - ep06

Now with the inclusion of Akishino Himeka, Eita's life becomes more complicated especial since she introduce herself as his ex-girlfriend. This rubs both Chiwa and Masuzu the wrong way, this leads to Masuzu investigating Hime behind Eita's back. This leads her to discover that she suffers from the same sickness that Eita use to afflicted by, and this is the source of her belief that Eita was her boyfriend in a previous life. That she intends to use this to get her to join their club, even-though currently her only reason for this is to be around Eita. When Chiwa call her out on this fact, Masuzu brings up the fact that it not like Chiwa is any different. Then to prove that Hime is sincere about wanting to join, she has Hime write a poem. After this Chiwa want her test to be something physical than from there things get out of control and the get in trouble by the Hall monitor.

It appear that their punishment is to clean the schools pool, but during this punishment another problem appears. The return of Mana, it appears that she has come to force Masuzu to return home. It seem like things are not so simple since her home that she must return is all the way in Sweden, which means if she returns than she not coming back. This is when it is revealed, that Masuzu has come to Japan to be with her mother. However it seems that something happened between her parents to cause them to go their separate ways.

That initially it appears that she is going to go home, however when Hime is getting bullied by Mana and no-one can do anything about it because of her body-guard. It is only when Masuzu steps in does things get resolved, by stating that she change her mind. That she was only going to go so that Mana would feel better about herself. However before Mana leaves she is going to apologize here in-front of the whole school watching for picking on Hime. When She refuses, Masuzu question the fact that is she really going to disobey her sister. Things end with Hime officially become a member of the club, and Mana leaving with her tail in-between her legs. Now with this over the introduce with forth girl the hall-monitor that be harassing them Fuyuumi Ai, and with her introduction she declares the club disbanded. Although it is doubtful that it will end here.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - ep06

It seems that the battle for Bright Light Island is finally here, but before things can begin there are just a few more things that need to be prepared. Once the Female Knight arrives to take her post as the commander, the crimson scholar isn't far behind. Since she knows that they are probably going to try a surprise attack during the night. She goes to offer them a different opportunity, that by using the salt that she brought with her they would be able to make a bridge of ice. However what she wants in return is time, and this time will have a greater meaning later on. Although because of this they lost their surprise attack because the bridge is finished at first light.

It turns out this isn't a major loss because by turning it into a land battle, things end becoming much easier for them. However this has cause the demons to retreat back inside the castle, that is until an army comes marching up from behind the castle from demon world. Initially everyone thought it was the demons reinforcements. Although it turns out to be the entire army that Yuusha scared out of the gate city. That Yuusha tried to slow them down to match the timing with the winter kings army. This lead to the Final battle between the two commanders. Which leads into the end result of the two island return to the hand of their original owners.

Things come to a conclusion with everyone celebrating their victory. Then with this victory Yuusha has step back into the light, since everyone now is going to know where he has been. The question is how far will this information spread. Then there is also the fact that even-though the gate city has return to the demon hands it is the first place that both human and demons can try to coexist. Then it is nice that things close with Yuusha having a peaceful reunion with his old friend.
