Zetsuen no Tempest - ep22

Things start off with how Mahiro and Yoshino first met Aika, the from there it transitions into Hakaze conveying what her trip revealed. Initially she was expecting them to get angry and to ultimately blame her for Aika's death. However they reasonable accept the truth, that in the end it was Aika's decision and she believe that she did the right thing. Although Hanemura can't stand the way that they are acting, it clear that they are trying to hold everything in and he feels that this isn't right. This leads into throwing Mahiro over the couch, which sends him flying. Then when Yoshino approaches Hanemura about what he's done, Hanemura strikes Yoshino with a strong uppercut that sends him into a window which he almost falls through. This snaps them out of their depression, although it turns out that Manemura almost killed Yoshino. Then Mahiro reminds Hanemura that nothing is over as long as Genesis still exists, that he is going to be the one on the front lines. That from his performance earlier Mahiro will not allow for him to say that he can't do it, so ironically Hanemura dug his own grave.

This leads into to planning on how they are going to deal with this final battle. It seems that in the end the world has decide to side with Genesis once the giant pillar appeared, however according to Aika this pillar is the heart of Genesis. That once it appears there is only a few more years before the world resets it self once again. In the end the world has made a foolish decision to protect it's destroyer. Even though they will be destroying to pillar for the good of this world, it also doesn't change the fact that the world will see them as their enemy. That it appears that destroying the pillar is not enough that they must also consider the back lash they will face in the aftermath because they won't be see as heroes. This means that they must make sure that as few people as possible are hurt when they do destroy the tree. Although in it's destruction Mahiro and Yoshino will final get the closure that they sot for so long and get to hear Aika last words what every they might be, and this will allow the to final move forward.

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - ep22

The continuing from last time, Sorata is still trouble over what he said to Mashiro. However this time he can't look away because he end up hurting Mashiro even-though she did nothing wrong. Although at this time Sorata like everyone else doesn't realize that Mashiro has already left Sakurasou intending to sacrifice herself to save it. When they do realize that she is gone, they head after her to bring Mashiro back. Then once they get to the art room where her GPS says that she is, the only thing waiting for them is her cell and a painting. That in looking at this painting they see a reflection of everything they felt while there, however Sorata notices one thing is missing. It seems that Mashiro never painted herself into the picture, to Sorata this signifies that she was planning to sacrifice herself if thing didn't work out.

This leads to them splitting up to look for her, while splitting up Sorata has Jin and Misaki stay on campus because they need to be there for their graduation. Then before Nanami splits off from Sorata as they get into town, it seems that Nanami accepts the truth. That in the end Mashiro will always come first to Sorata, that he will never love her as she loves him. That this further splitting up to search for her symbolizes this change in there relationship. Then as Sorata continues his search, it eventual leads him to the train station where they first met. In seeing that she is not here, Sorata believes that she might be further in waiting for a train on the platform.

It turns out that he is right that Mashiro is preparing to leave them all together, that the train-track symbolizes the divide that has been create between the two of them from the action of last night. It seems that Mashiro will to leave is also related to the belief that she will only hurt Sorata further by staying and it turns out her desire to save Sakurasou is not the only thing that is pushing her away from them. Final Sorata admits that he is jealous of her and how she succeeds in everything that she does. Even thought it almost made him hate her because of it. Sorata is also greatful to her because it made him push himself in to do thing is was afraid to do. That he could never hate her because he loves her. Then as the train pass with Mashiro gone, this cause Sorata to fear the worst. Although it turns out she is crossing the bridge to reach him. That once she is by his side once again, he tells her something that she seems to not understand. That Sakurasou isn't the building but the fact that it brought them all together is the true Sakurasou. Then with this resolution, Rita arrives with Ryuunosuke to bring them back to school. It seems that there is still hope between the painting that Mashiro made and the Letter that Jin gave to his friend it might be possible for them to get the rest of the signatures that they need to save Sakurasou since everyone is going to be there for graduation.

However before this goes too far Ai starts digging her own grave by bring up her non-existent boyfriend. This leads her on a tangent where Ai feels that Boys should ask girls out not the other way around. This leads to Masuzu suggesting that Ai should show them how it is done. This means that Eita has to seduce Ai in-front of everyone, which isn't too hard since she still wants his stamp. However because of his lack of effort Masuzu threatens him, and when he exerts some effort it ends with Ai all over him. This ultimately ends up revealing their past together because she forgets that she is only suppose to be acting out her part not living it, but this revelation ends up troubling Chiwa. Then as they are fighting over Eita to choose, he has them pick one to try on while he waits for them to finish changing. Although while they are gone Hime pulls him into her changing room, but once he escape from Hime because Chiwa and Masuzu will be expecting him to be out there. Zetsuen no Tempest - ep21

Now things continue from where they left off last time with Aika catching Hakaze red-handed. It seems that Aika wants to continue their discussion but doesn't what to do it here on top of the roof. It seems that in this switch of locations Hakaze tells Aika about everything that has happen, since the viewers don't need to hear about it. Although it seems that Aika is merely annoyed that she is going to die in a couple of hours. This leads to the question on who could kill her especially since she is the mage of exodus, also now she knows where and when it will happen. It seem unlike that anyone could kill her, even if she didn't know when it would happen. This leads to only one conclusion is that she kill her self.

Then with this result Hakaze begins to question on why she would do this, but to Aika the reason is is obvious. That her death is ultimately the cause of everything, it is what leaded her to make contact with Mahiro. Then from through him connecting to Yoshino. Which would put Yoshino in a position to save her when Mahiro abandon her. Then from their her journey with Yoshino would lead her to question the tree of genesis, and ultimately lead her to the decision to destroy it. However it is throughout everything that has happened that things have come full circle. Then with this Hakaze realize that she is responsible for Aika's death. On the other hand Aika see thing differently that it is through her death that the two of them are saved.

Now that everything is revealed, it seems that the two princess are at odds with each other. Aika is intent on killing herself because it will set the world down the path it needs to follow, and in the process it will also save Yoshino and Mahiro. While Hakaze seems intent on preventing this because of the amount of suffering it caused Yoshino and Mahiro. It seems that neither of these princess care about the world, they just want to what they feel will save the ones that they love. However it is through this conflict that the true nature of both mages are revealed. That the Mage of Genesis magic is defensive to make the tree seem no threatening, but at the same time that means that the Mage of Genesis has no actual ability to harm the Mage of Exodus. While this doesn't hold the same for the Mage of Exodus since it is the weapon that is intended to destroy the tree of Genesis, and therefore Since the Mage of Genesis is empower by the very tree that they protect then Hakaze has no hope in being able to stop Aika from doing as she wishes.

In the end Hakaze did find out the answer to her question on who kill Aika, although in a way she didn't expect. Even after Aika knocks her out, Hakaze still has hope that she will be able to stop Aika. However in the end the past remains unchanged, but she leaves a letter for Yoshino and Mahiro. Although Aika has left instructions that they should only read them after the tree of Genesis is destroyed. Why does even matter when they read them, unless Aika found a way to cheat death in a similar way that Hakaze did on her island. I guess only time will tell, and with the mystery finally solve. There is only on thing left to do, and that is to defeat the tree of genesis. Although will things really be that simple.

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - ep21

Now with the effort to save Sakurasou unified there is much that can be done to progress the story on that front. However this cause them to turn away from this point and focus on the characters that are involved in this love triangle. While at the same time they try to success at their own personal goals. The first of the three the focus in on is Nanami, how she is trying to hold together for everyone's else sake. Although in the end the truth of her situation gets to her and she breaks down and cries in the middle of class. This leads Sorata to take her to the nurse's office to rest, but he kind of ignores her because he has his own problems to deal with.

After he drops Nanami off, he receives a call about the results of his game review. It seems to an extent he was expecting himself to pass the review. However it turns out that he failed, that it seems for a very simple reason. That their was another rhythm game in the review, and it was based on using the vocaloids that are really popular now. That he lost simple because he review came later, that if his review would have came earlier than it is quite likely he would have passed. In the end it takes this failure for Sorata to realize that Nanami isn't alright like she says.

Then with this Sorata goes out looking for, and ends up finding her in the rain. Sorata brings her back to the nurse's office and comforts her properly this time. This leads into him telling her that he understand what she is going through, and he express this by telling Nanami how he has failed too. That she has tried for long enough, and that she has sacrifice much for her dreams only to fall short. After everything she been through, it is alright for her to take a short break. In a way their failure has brought them closer together, and to ephazie this Sorata stays with her until she falls asleep. It seems that things have caught up to him as well, because he falls to the sand-man as well.

This results in him waking up unable to help on the final day of collecting signatures, although even if he was there it is doubtful that things would turn out any different. It seems that they failed and were unable to get enough signatures. However the story kind of brush over this fact because as they return back to Sakurasou, and Sorata finds a letter from the game company. This leads him into wondering what they want with him now that he has failed. It turns out that it not for him but in truth they are offering Mashiro a job to work for them. It seems what Rita said earlier has come true, that although it was not intentional she did end up breaking him. This is the turning point that in a way turns Sorata against Mashiro. Things end with Mashiro leaving Sakurasou to save it because there isn't any other way. Although this does physically save Sakurasou, but does this mean that their was too much sacrifice in the process so that it is no-longer Sakurasou. It is still unlikely that they will end it on the depressing note.

Ore no Kanojo to Osanamiji Ga Shuraba sugiru - ep09

The episode begins with a few flashbacks from Eita and Ai's past together, this leads into Eita picking up a notebook and looking inside. It turns out this is the one thing that he shouldn't have done because it creates a whole slue of new problems for him. The reason behind this is that in Ai's panic to get her notebook, she unintentionally switch it with his notebook. It isn't until a little bit later that she realize that they got switched, what make it worse is that she also realize that she wrote her name in it as well. It doesn't make things much better when she returns and finds Eita clearly reading the notebook, while he tries to denies it. This leads them into a chase where Eita is trying to run from Ai while she is trying to tell him it her little brothers. Which ends with Eita being trap at the end of one of the halls, however he does try to escape through the fire-escape door but ironically it doesn't open until Ai runs into him.

Now that she has corner him, Ai breaks down and cries because she realizes that she can't deny the truth. That just go ahead and laugh at her. Ai feels guilty about her delusions because she brags about being a hall monitor. However to Eita he probably feels that he has found a kindred spirit in Ai, so he is the last person that would make fun of her. This leads him into doing the only thing that he can think of to calm her down and that is act out parts of his burning fighter which will put Ai more at ease about her delusions. It turn out that he goes a little too far and Ai starts cracking up at him imitations. Now that she calm down Eita is able to give her notebook back to her but it a little worse for ware. Then seeing the shape that it is in, Ai asks to be compensated. Once hearing this Eita offers to buy her a new one, although Ai has a different idea that he is going to take her to the summer festival.

On the day of the festival Eita awaits for her in-front of the school, although he is a bit puzzled on why they are going the opposite direction as everyone else. However it turns out that Ai wanted to watch the fireworks with Eita, her true intentions are a bit different. That it seems that all their time together so far she been trying to subtly remind Eita of their past together. Since this hasn't work out, it seems that Ai is going for a more direct solution, by taking Eita down the path they once use to watch the fireworks. Then as they continue down the path, he remembers that he found this path. Once they are there Ai calls him by his nickname Ta-kun, but once she call him that Eita remembers that he uses to call her A-chan. That she had Karou help her with the plan by having him use her old nickname, but it seems that was useless.

It turns out things were hard on her because she was separated from him all this time, then once they were reunited in high-school she was nothing but the evil hall monitor. That with him flirting with Chiwa then Natsukawa becoming his girlfriend, she really didn't have a chance to get close to him. Initially Karou didn't want to help her because he wanted to support Chiwa. Things changed when Eita started to date Natsukawa. However all of that is in the past, now that Eita remembers she wants him to fulfill his promise. It seems ten years ago Ai made a marriage contract and Eita said he would sign it ten years later, it seems that today is that day. However it seems that Eita has no intentions on doing so even-though the document wouldn't be legally binding, it wouldn't change the fact that he would feel responsible to follow through. That this leads Eita and Ai on another chase but the only thing that saves him is by running into Chiwa. This forces Ai to give up for now, but this doesn't mean that she won't try again.

Thing end with Masuzu confronting him about his date with Ai. This confrontation is a bit funny because she is contradicting herself. That earlier she wanted Eita to seduce her, and she angry about them going to the festival together. What even funnier is that she want him to get something to blackmail her with and when he does actual have something she doesn't want to hear it. Although it turns out with all of Masuzu's plan are pointless because once school starts up again, Ai rescinds her decision and even goes a step further by joining the club. The question is will Ai realize the truth behind why Eita is dating Masuzu, when Masuzu reads from Eita journal like she has done before. However this time it might lead to her own undoing.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - ep09

Things start out with an introduction from the Merchant about why the Crimson Scholar is being accused of heresy. It seems like the church is being used as a pawn by Central, that they dislike all that the Crimson Scholar has done for the southern nation. That because of her actions she has freed the Winter Nation from their yoke, since they are no-longer dependent on Central for their survival. That Central is trying to use the Crimson Scholar to set an example for all that intend to go against them. The Merchant see this as their true intent, that another point along side this one is brought up. That it seems that the Merchant believes that the Alliance has become too complacent, and too correct this he is making plans to over throw the current council. Although this is point to a more common theme in recent episodes of political reformation of the government.

However even thought this opening segment is important, the true focus is on the Crimson Scholar's crisis. In the beginning everything seems to going as planned, even though everyone is trouble with their own thought because of the weight they are asking Big Sis to bare. Although things take a turn for the worst when they start to abuse her on stage in-front of everyone. This leads her into announcing that she was once a serf, which is not completely untrue. This fact is further fueled by her speech, and it is clear that her speech is inspired by both her time as a serf as well as the teaching she received from the Head-Maid. The main focus is on the concept of what make a person human, and what make a person a bug. That it is through this speech that she was able to find a path that no-one else could find, because she ended up saving herself. The reason for this is that it leads to the Winter King giving her asylum, while having the Female Knight declaring her as a saint. Then with this single act a line is drawn in the sand, that it is only a matter of time before the Winter King will go to war with Central.
