Magical Warfare - ep08

Now things are getting complicate with the arrival of the new students. Although it is a bit of a surprise with the arrival of Ida's sister but the real issue is the appearance of Gekkou. What is particularly strange is the way he is making nice with Takeshi with his sudden change of heart, there is also the fact that he won't tell them how he became a mage. There is also the fact of the vision that Towa has been showing him are contradicts with the current Gekkou that trying make amends with his brother. This mostly like means that Gekkou is playing nice, so that he can get close to Takeshi. That when the opportunity arise his is in the prefect position to stab him in the back.

What also complicate matter is when Washizu approaches Takeshi about joining the ghost trailers. However he doesn't expect him to just join immediately, this is where he tell the ghost Trailers side of the war and how it was started. It turns out that Kazuma didn't like the way the world worked, how Wizards Breath only allow their members to use magic while persecuting any else that wasn't part of their little circle. Further more it seems like they were willing to blackmail anyone with real talent to force them to join, like they did to Kazuma and his parents die for his refusal. Now to this extent is seems that Ghost Trailers are the good guys but if that is true then what need was their to brainwash Mui's brother. There is also the issue that everything is point towards that Gekkou is part of the Ghost Trailers, that with their help he is seeking to destroy Takeshi. That it might not matter which side is good or evil because Takeshi might have to join Wizard Breath simply because Gekkou join the other side. The other issue is who is in the right, and is there going to be a third option for Takeshi.

Nobunaga the Fool - ep07

Now it come down to the time that Nobunaga that learns about what happen Nobukatsu while he was out. This ends up strike Nobunaga particular hard with the recent death of his father, and new his younger brother is dead. While Himiko sacrifice her self to save him, but as it stands now it is unclear if she will pass away as well or if she will share the same fate as the rest of his family. Although it is interesting because of the insistence that these assassination were done by an outside party and not done by someone with a political agenda in controlling which of the two brother would take the throne. Which is what really happened.

Then throughout the discussion it seems that the Takada Shingen is the most likely suspect since he was indirectly responsible for the death of Nobuhide. Then with this determined Nobunaga goes out personally to greet Takada to question him on the two assassination. However from Takada response it seems that Nobunaga never believe that he was behind it in the first place because of his straight forward personality. That he wish to crush Owari directly and not from the shadow because he see no honor in stabbing an enemy in the back. Although there was a point for Nobunaga to come here so that the two of them could have a dual with one another with out anyone interfering.

This battle allow for the conflict between Shingen and Nobunaga to reach a conclusion with Nobunaga finally defeating him, and receiving the Shingen's Shinki. However Caesar complicate things by stabbing Shingen in the back while he is in the processes of passing them over to Nobunaga. Which results in him only receiving the fire shinki while Caesar imp makes off with the wind. It is also made worse with Caesar by him passing off his dishonorable action on to Nobunaga, which will allow him to take possession of Shingen's army as his own. Which is probably is initial intention from the beginning. This will make things worse for Owari because it doesn't matter what the truth is, it only matters what the people believe. In the end this might unit the rival faction to destroy Owari and it dishonorable new ruler as they perceive it.

Log Horizion - ep21

This episode is mostly an epilogue for the goblin king arc, that they are celebrating their victory. However there are a few thing of interested that happen during this conclusion. First is the strange woman telling the tale of Shiroe's action of saving Rudy which leaded to him becoming a true adventure. This also connects with Shiroe's second meeting with Regan congratulation on his success with his new magic, while also informing him that someone else has create new magic as well in the west. This puts focus on another city Minami and the possible rise of another crisis because they have quest similar to the goblin king called the demon festival of suzaku gate. While there is also the issue of this second person that create magic similar to shiroe's and there is also the problem of what they created. Although this will leads into the new arc, however the question is how will this factor impact the final arc of the story.

No-rin - ep07

Now with the introduction of the big four complete, things end up going full circle by further exploring Ringo's character. This is done by returning to the issue about the soybeans. That in tending to them Ringo discovers that there is some mold growing around them, which later leads to Kousaku agreeing to take a look at them later in the day because he doesn't feel like it is a major problem since it was cause by over watering. Although he is proved wrong when he takes a look at the beans for himself because it turns out the the soil was contaminant, that anything else planted there would have suffered the same fate.

This leads to Ringo become severely depressed because of the failure of the soybeans. That she only able to work past this once Kousaku take her aside and tellers about his views of being a farmer. Magical Warfare - ep07

It seems now with Mui situation resolved, things switch to Takeshi and the truth about twilight. That in the end twilight is much more that just a magical sword but also has a will of it's own. Now as time pass Takeshi begins to have nightmare, that he only become concerned once these dream start to come true. This then reveals the fact that twilight has been causing these dreams by draining Takeshi's magic, that Hyoudou-sensei become aware of this only because his exhaustion catches up to him and he is force to sleep in the nurse office. This leads her warning him that he needs to stop sleeping with twilight by his bed, however when Momoka finds out that he has been continuing to sleep with the sword by his bed side despite Hyoudou's warning.

This leads to Momoka confronting Takeshi about Twilight. Although it doesn't go the way that she wants because Momoka gives him to choice either give up the sword or follow Hyoudou-sensei advice. However he choose to do neither because he feels that if these nightmare are truly vision then he must face them and he can't afford to turn away. This leads to a third option where Takeshi has to face the spirit of the sword. It seems initially that Tsuganashi was going to go with him but it seems that Mui convinced him to allow her to take his place. However there is a bit of fun and games going on inside Takeshi's dream before they final face Twilight.

That once the battle begins, Twilight first starts out with using Gekkou but from this Takeshi isn't sure if this is a vision or if it just Twilight manipulating his dream again. This leads into her facing him directly by getting him to release the sword. When that doesn't happen she threatens Mui by striking her which puts Mui in danger because she slow sucking out her mana. Then as time pass it clear the Takeshi can't beat twilight which leads him to think about what Momoka said about the relationship between an aspect and a mage is like the relationship between a parent and child. This gives him his answer Twilight wants Takeshi to recognize her and he does this by giving her the name “Towa”. Things end with Takeshi giving Kurumi her white day present while Takeshi narration alludes to the fact that his interaction with Towa mark to true begging of everything and not the end.

Log Horizon - ep20

It seem that the battle is coming to a close, but with Minori request of Shiroe it make things a bit complicate because to help her he has to abandon his post. Although thankful since the battles almost over it isn't as dire as it would have been if she need his help earlier in the battle. However since the only thing left to do is the clean up he can leave everything else to Karashin. That in helping to save Rudy is gets us back to the theory of body and soul. That all that Shiroe can have them do until he gets there is have them alternate using revival spells to prevent the dispersal of Rudy's body.

This also leads to the exploration of world magic as well as what Shiroe can do with his scribe skill. The first step to revive Rudy is forcefully restoring his mp since this is connect to the soul. However this can only be done by going the party and using his skill to restore everyone's mp in the party. Now he forcefully join the mind and body by using a item to temporally turn Rudy into a zombie. The reason for this is that Shiroe needs Rudy to willing sign the contract that he made, that it is through this contract he will bind Rudy to his guild and grant him all of the ability that adventures posses allowing Rudy to be resurrected back at the cathedral. The question that still remains is what effect will this happen to the rest of the world, and will Shiroe's contracts be the key that will allow them to return home.

No-rin - ep06

Now with this episode the introduce the last of the big four Kanegami, but what is kind of ironic is that it's not the big four but the big five however Kousaku excludes Yoshida making the big five the big four. Most of the episode focus in on exploring Kanegami character and how she is obsessed with money, which is fitting since her name means money god. This leads into creation of the first of two scams. Where they are basically selling collector edition of eggs by having a famous illustrator do the box art. This is mostly successful but the disappointing fact is that the school gets all of the proceeds from the sells.

That through this success and failure Kousaku learns more about Kanegami, that she isn't so interested in make money as she is interested in how it is made. That to her what is more valuable is making connect with people now because there will be time later in life to make money. This leads to the second scam of selling logs to grow mushrooms, which seem be target towards the female consumers where the eggs where target at men. Although things don't go so well we they get caught doing this, it leads to Kousaku getting suspended for three days but Kanegami gets three weeks for being a repeat offender. However in the end Kousaku decides not to help Kanegami with anymore of his scams but it doesn't mean that they aren't friends anymore.

Magical Warfare - ep06

Now with Takeshi's and the others accomplishment, it turns out that Momoka has fulfill her side of the bargain in helping Mui to get her brother back. The towards this end Momoka is going use Oigami and Hotaru to force Ghost Trailers to face them with the return of their two members that they lost. That with the two returned to the Ghost Trailers Momoka heads off to do battle with the current leaders of the Ghost Trailers but the question remains will the two stay their once their memeories return or will they be fill with the desire to return to Subura. All of the put aside most of the episode isn't about Mui getting her brother back but the past relationship between Momoka and Kippei.

The last part of the episode was about the final battle that Mui undergoes to get her brother back. Which leads Tsuganashi isolating Mui by retreating and force her follow after him. This ends up separating her from the others, but this stop Takeshi from going after her because he feels that if she is able obtain her wish to get her brother back then their might be still hope for him and Gekkou. That in the end the final thing that allowed Mui to get her brother back was the bullet given to her by Momoka, that allow her feeling to take one a physical form which allow for Mui to reform her bond with her brother. Then at the very end there is a bit of for shadowing that Gekkou is the reincarnation of Kazuma the leader of the Ghost Trailers that try to destroy the world. That the last half of the series will be about Takeshi reforming his bond with the brother that he ran from.

Log Horizion - ep19

This time there is much drama because most of the attention is focus in on the battle. It seems that the faction that departed from Akihabara split into three different groups. The first group is leaded by Crusty and there job is to eliminate the main force of the goblin army but also prevent the enemy from scattering once it is defeated. That to ensure this second objective is met Shiroe is leading the second division which is overseeing the battle to make sure non of the goblins escape. This leads to the point of the third division which heading to reinforce the training camp so that Crusty's division doesn't get flanked by enemies coming from the sea. That Marie's group is hard press to hold their ground.

Later it become clear how press they are in protecting the town and prevent any goblins from reaching Crusty's division when the second wave comes from the sea while another division is passing through the forest. Which leads to Minori's group having to deal with the forest group by themselves. While for the most part they are able to hold their ground until they start getting overwhelmed by stronger enemies. Which leads to Rudy sacrificing himself to take the heat off of Touya but this leads to Rudy reveling his secret that he is really one of the People of the Land and not really an adventure. That it turn out that Isuzu knew of this but decide to keep his secret. However the big issue is how to prevent him from dying since if he does there is going to be no resurrection for him and will have lost their friend.

No-rin - ep05

Things get start with Kousaku and the others further training Ringo in the art of being a farmer. Although is this merely to set the stage for the introduction of more characters. However before they get to that they need to create a premise for this meeting of the big four. This is started when Minori runs out of Miso to prepare breakfast which connect to the theme of soybeans. This leads Kousaku and Kei going to class B to get some Miso but Ringo tags along because she curiosity about this class B. This leads them into meeting Suzuki Akari giving them their miso but in return they have to try out this new non-eatable yogurt. Which leads to revealing Suzuki as a fujoshi, which means the whole experiment was a farce to put Kei and Kousaku in a potential BL situation. However before they leave she informs Kousaku about F-class being on the move.

This leads to Kousaku scouting out the situation with class F but Minori and Ringo follow him because they are curious about what he is up to. This is when the second of the big four appear with the rest of F class. This where it become clear that each class focus on a different farming field, but can you call being a lumberjack being a farmer. Although it appears that Rintaro Miyamoto the second of the big four has a long standing grievance with Kousaku with him being Minori childhood friend. This ultimately leads to a strange conversation about him bathing with Minori until about the end of middle-school and trying to justify it. What even worse is that Ringo doesn't take this news well but save by Kei appeasing the lumberjack with stories of mountain woman that enjoy the outdoors which leads F-class heading back into the mountain to search for these woman.

Then the third of the big four introduces himself to Ringo as she is checking the soybeans that they planted. This leads to Kousaku going after her because she is late. This leads him into finding her with Hanazono Kaworu, which leads Kousaku to believe that he is a womanizer from his previous encounter with Minori. Which leads him into a game against him to protect Ringo from him. However it turns out that this is what Kaworu desire all along because his true goal was Kousaku all this time and merely use Ringo to get to him. Unfortunately Kei was to late to stop the horrid end results of Kaworu's plan. Things end with only three of the four being introduced, and so far it seem that each of them have unique personalities the question what will the fourth one be like.

Magical Warfare - ep05

Things starts of with them going straight into the test, instead do what you would expect by having the four of them test as a team. Thing are change up with the test being about their proficiency at using their celestial magic, which leads to splitting them up where their celestial magic is the only thing that will allow them to get through. However during the test Takeshi runs into Oigami, this leads to Takeshi being hostile towards until he realize that Oigami doesn't even remember him. Then the ghost trailers sabotages the examine, which cause everyone to fall though to the lowest level. This leads to Oigami meeting Kurumi as well, but he soon vanish because he is disqualified. Although the ghost traliers action are in Mui's and the others favor because it helps them complete the test by allowing them to work together even though their goal was to appraise Takeshi's strength. However this also proves that Momoka and Wizard Breath may not be the champions of justice that they make themselves out to be since they erased Oigami's memories which is the same thing that Ghost trailers did to Mui's brother. It also seems that Momoka knew this entire time about the infiltrators and allow it to happen. The question is can Takeshi really trust either of these faction.

The rest of the episode revolves around the drama of their little group. First with the arrival of winter break and Kurumi wanting to return home to keep their promise to Gekkou that they would visit the shrine together. However after being here and not having to deal with the Gekkou's hatred for him, leads to him staying here and Kurumi going home. Although it isn't clear if Ida decide to go home as well, but with Kurumi's return it also point to thing getting more complicate with event suggesting that Gekkou has join up with the Ghost Trailers to chase after his brother. It seems that Gekkou is going to be joining the school in April. There is even more drama where upon her return she finds Takeshi in bed with Mui, although it was just that Mui had a fever and was having another delusion that Takeshi was her brother. This leads to Kurumi having a fight with Mui where it ultimately results in Takeshi reveling the truth to Mui about his relationship with Kurumi. That he believe that it is about time that Kurumi is able to stand on her own, that it is as much for her own good as it is for his that they end this lie. Although it is doubtful that Kurumi has told Takeshi about Gekkou's arrival to the school in Apirl with everything that has happen and it is likely that this will create even more friction between the two of them.

Nobunaga the Fool - ep05

Now the plot is thickening with the advisers making plans to assassinate Nobunaga, coupled with the arrival of Julius Caesar who desire the destruction of Oda castle so that he can have Ichihime. This leads into the conflict between Nobunaga and Nobuhide over that action they should take. Nobunaga believes that they should go to war and expand Owari territory while his father favors stability. That the very act of going to war threatens this stability that he favors, this means that the only thing that Nobunaga can really do is try to learn more about the shinki. Also to do this he needs Himiko's help but as things are going it seem his marriage to her is going to be in name only, or at least for now which is only nature because you can't think of a child as a woman.

Then with the ground tension in the castle combine with Nobunaga increasing desire to go to war with his growing power leads to a drawing of another card. This time it is the reverse tower which is supposed to symbolize conceit and divine anger. That this card seems to perfectly symbolize Nobunaga and with Mitsuhide over hearing this he set a plan in motion that would allow Nobunaga to act. That as Nobunaga is preparing to make the first move by attacking Takada Shingen he is poisoned by taking a drink from a tainted sake cup before going into battle. Which ironical Takada attack just as he is poisoned.

That with Nobunaga incapacitated his father Nobuhide has to rise up and go to battle in his stead. That with this poisoning it is also protect him from future assassinate attempt because he will be under a more watchful eye, that if the advisers try anything they will be suspected of being spys for Takada and be executed because of this association. While it turns out that the person that really poisoned Nobunaga was Mitsuhide so that he could go into battle at the most opportune time so that he could be see as a hero and not a fool. Although things don't exactly go as planned with the arrival of Julius Caesar, with this event Nobunaga can't fight both Caesar and Takada. Which allows for Caesar to progress to the castle unopposed however he is ultimately stop by Nobuhide sacrificing his life to protect the castle which ultimately cause Caesar to retreat under the force of Nobunaga's divine anger. Which leads to the truth of the reverse tower card, symbolize Nobuhide's death and Nobunaga's anger of the loss of his father.
