The first episode gives it a strong feeling that it will be a lot like “Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo”, this become clear with all the gags that they put into the first episode. It will be interesting to so the direction that the series goes in. While in Sakurasou it revolve around Mashiro and how Kanda was force to look after her created many amusing situations. The question is what will be nature of the jokes for this series. It seems that one major source is going the be the division within their club, where with Kousaku and his friends raise vegetables. While their rivals raise animals, which always seem to escape and cause a great deal of misfortune for Kosaku and the other. That the this is going to be one of the jokes how they are going to sacrifice Kousaku to the animal for the protection of the farm.

The other main joke that they have highlight so far is Kousaku unhealthy obsession with the pop-star idol Yuka Kusakabe. Where he fantasize about them being together, which is the whole reason for wanting to be a trendy farmer so that he could work in Tokyo, to satisfy his desire to be closer to Yuka. One way they use as a joke is that his acceptance of god revolves around the existence of god. That when he finds out she has retired, he believe that god is dead. This leads to his extreme state of depression, which cause his friends to check up on him. This leads him into revealing that he's been sending her vegetables that his been growing, because vegetables are hard to come by in Tokyo. Now that she has retired there is a point anymore. Ultimately Minori is force to beat some sense into to get him to come to class, ironically on the same day that Yuka transfer into their class as Kinoshita Ringo.
