Juuou Mujin no Fafnir - ep03

Things don't turn out well for Mitsuki's battle from the get go since the dragon has what equates to a perfect defense. That through her failure it leans to a shift of focus on eliminating Iris to at least prevent a second one of these dragons being born. Although Yuu doesn't believe it will come to that and he has no intention of succeeding his rights to anyone else. That is why he is going to deal with these intruders that have been sent to deal with Iris because his old commanders doesn't believe he will do his job. However in dealing with them he is unable to deal with the last one when Iris comes out early, that through her actions Iris gives him an idea on how to defeat this dragon but before he can act on it. Mitsuki makes an appearance demanding that they must end Iris's life before the dragon gets any closer because it can't be stopped.

That once again this cause Yuu to assert his position as being the one to make that call. Which leads them to fight over it, and instead of some epic battle between brother and sister it just who ever is able to touch the other persons head. Which leads to Yuu winning when Mitsuki has to protect her modesty when her skirt fly's up. This leads to Yuu having Iris join the fight because her magic will be the most effective by having her explosion occur inside the dragon's shield instead on the outside like what has been happening. Although this Strategy proves to be partial effective but it isn't enough to stop the dragon.

This is when Yuu takes action to stop it, while also showing us the rest of what happen when he was younger. It seems that unlike the others he has made a pact with a dragon, that it is through this pact that he has become a D. Then what does this mean for the other D's, does that mean to become one you have to form a pact with a dragon or is just this one that is different from the rest. The other question this raise is why does this dragon seek the destruction of it's own kind and why does it want Yuu's memories as compensation. That in the end more we are left with even more questions than answers at the revelation of Yuu's past. The question is that in time will forget everyone and even the reason on why he is fighting in the first place. The answer to this will only be reveled as the story unfolds.

Aldnoah Zero - ep15

It seems things are getting more complicate with Slaine and Inaho taking action in their own way. That first you have Slaine raising up in rank even further before the coming battle by Saazbaum declaring him as his son. Then you have Inaho position within the military, that he suggests that it would be wise to keep him off the front-lines because if he dies the ship will be once again be dead in the water. Although the captain understand this but in respect for all that Inaho has done. She will have him continue to be on the front-lines because she believe he is there greatest hope for victory.

It is also interesting how they tied in Slaine early actions in the battle with it conclusion, while also combining it in a way with Inaho act of playing chess. That between these two the victor will be determined by who can think further ahead of the other or to take action that the other won't be able to predicate. This is emphasis by Slaine's plan to keep Inaho grounded in a certain location while his shots he fired earlier are orbiting the earth. However things change when Saazbaum wants a rematch with Inaho and orders Slaine to stand back. This raises the question did Slaine willingly allow himself to take a hit, but regardless he steps out of the fight. That in doing so Inaho is able to fight someone he has already beaten before and with a little help from Inko he is able to take down Saazbaum barrier. Which leads to him escaping just as the trap that was meant for him hits Saazbaum instead.

That it appears that the real reason that Slaine stood aside was so that he could kill Saazbaum without directly having a hand in the actual deed. The questions is that will Slaine continue to indirectly aid Inaho while trying to appear that he opposes him or with Saazbaum out of the picture will he focus all of his hatred on Inaho now. Although it appears that the only true loyalty that Slaine has is to Princess Asseylum and he will do anything in her services. It also seems that he desires to overthrow the current system, the question then become when will his desire to serve Asseylum conflict with his dream to overthrow the system. Since Asseylum is part of that very system, that for the system to be overthrown it implies that she will have to die as well. It will be interesting what he will choose in the end.

Juuou Mujin no Fafnir - ep01&02

It seems that this season there is a major focus on Magical anime's, out of all of theme this one seems the best so far all around. In a way the plot is a bit ironic that the dragons are the one's that gave our heroes the power to stand up to this threat by giving them the power to defeat them. Although at the same time they need the D so that they can create more dragons by transforming a D into a dragon. Which gives the D a strange duality. On the one side they are humanity champions in dealing with the threat that the dragons present but on the other hand they are being use as live bait for the dragons. Which leads them to be isolated from the rest of human society.

Then there issue with Yuu that has been sent to the island to kill before they can transform into dragons. It appears that the government has little faith in the D's ability to fight the dragons which is odd since they have already kill one before. However they have also proved that they couldn't prevent the transformation since during that battle they kill two dragons meaning that they fail to prevent the D from transforming. Which raise the question on how will Yuu end up saving Iris, since almost everyone believes that she is beyond saving. That is why when Mitsuki finds out what Yuu has been asked to do, that she has requested to do it in his stead if it come to that. It's a bit ironic that they only one that really believe that she can be saved is Yuu the one tasked with killing her.

It seems that next time the action will begin, and it seem likely that Iris will be saved since it doesn't appear that this series is like Akame ga Kill where someone is getting kill off every couple of episodes. The question is how will she be saved and what part will Yuu play in it. One direction that they could go down is that Iris transforms into a dragon but Yuu is able to revert her back to normal. Other possibility is that he deals the final blow to the dragon before it gets too close to Iris. However it seems extremely unlikely that Iris will die since her romance with Yuu is just beginning and it is unlikely that they would do this if they intended just to kill her. Even more so there are still some unanswered question about Yuu and why he was outside the system for so long considering he became a D around the same time as Mitsuki. Then there is also the issue of what happen to the dragon they encounter when they were children, from the event it seems to imply that Yuu killed it.

Aldnoah Zero - ep13&14

This week Aldnoah Zero's second truly begins since last week was more of an epilogue for the previous season telling the end result of some of the charters fates. While also revealing that those we thought were dead are not as dead as the first appeared. Saazbaum wasn't exucted by Slaine in the end because he needed his authority to get Asseylum the critical care that she needs to save her life. Which is a degree is ironic since he goal the entire time was to kill her. Then with Asseylum in a coma she is alive but is no-longer a threat to their goals. Then lastly you would assume that at least Inaho would have to be dead since he was shot in the face but the only damage that did was cause him to lose an eye. That with his return it appears that with his robotic eye, he is more effective than before.

The real action begins this week with the coming space. Although as each side is gathering it's forces for the coming battle, there are some politic issue being addressed. Such as Inaho using his new eye to reveal that Asseylum that has been broadcasting is a fake by her voice pattern changing when she is saying her name. Which indicates to Inaho that she is lying about who she is the question is when and how will Inaho will be able to use this information to his advantage. Then as things turn out that Inaho is correct he just doesn't know who is impersonating her. It turns out that the impersonator is her own sister, that she aids Saazbaum because of her hatred for her royal linage because she is the bastard child of the king.

That with the introduction of Lemrina you have beginning of more political plots with everyone having their own agenda. Slaine doesn't care about the end result of anything just that Asseylum is safe, that he probably prefers that she stays asleep until everything has ended. Saazbaum is planning another coup because as thing are even if they are able to seize the earth the people will still suffer and nothing will have changed. That ultimately what need to change is the system itself, this leads to the fact that the king is dying and believe that when he dies Asseylum will take over. Although in truth when she does it will be Lemrina in power and not Assylum. Then there is Lemrina plans where she intents to take everything Asseylum has and toward this end what she desires most is Slaine. That it is likely that Asseylum will only remain alive as long as she stays in her coma, that if she ever wakes Lemrina will have her kill.

Then with the politic grandstanding done thing move onto the battle, which Inaho dominates once again. That this is only a skirmish that is foretelling what will happen the the real battle begins. However Inaho's dominance is quickly ended when Slaine intercepts Inaho. Now Slaine and Inaho have their reunion. That in this battle the each reveal a little bit to one another. On Inaho's side he is declaring to Slaine that he is still alive and that he is coming to repay the favor. While with Slaine he has revealed the ability of his machine to Inaho. The it predicts enemy fire and dodges according however this could be used against him by predicting how he will dodge so that he will move into enemy fire. The question is how will this be done, it is likely when next they meet Slaine is going to get what coming to him but he will not die. Although things might be more complicate since it appears that Saazbaum will have his machine for the next battle. This means that Inaho will have to deal with at least two enemies at once. Which means when these two bases cross the real show will begin.

Madan no Ou to Vanadis - ep13

Now before things can move towards their final conclusion Eleonora has to shack Tigre out of his depression. Although things are a bit more complicated than Eleonora is aware of since Bertand death also lead to him mastering the power that Tir Na Fa gave him which leads him to now have mixed feelings about it and this to an extent troubles him. Eleonora can't know this but she helps him in her own way by reminding him of his fundamental nature. Having Tigre return to his sense couldn't happen at a better time since the next day Badouin arrives to inform them of that state of the king. It appears that the drugs that Ganelon gave him has worn off but he can't be cured of the poison so if they want an audience with the king they need to hurry.

This leads to the final showdown between Tigre and Thenardier but it appears that Thenardier no-longer cares about winning. Since his army is in disarry with no-one really leading it. It seems that the true commander was killed in the previous battle underground. Which means that Thenardier could have leaded his army but instead he abandons it to face Tigre alone which ultimately results in his armies defeat. However it appears that his true goal was avenge his son's death, that in this duel Tigre also receives his answer on why he attack Alsace. Which almost cause him to lose himself to his rage but Elenora snaps him out of it. Things end in an expected way with Thenardier receiving an arrow to the head.

Now with Thenardier defeat they can go into the city to meet with the king. That in this meeting the king laments that Tigre resolved the situation that was his to bare. That his is prepared to offer Tigre anything he could want but like always his only concern is securing the continuing security of Alsace and he doesn't care if it become part of Zhcted to achieve this. In the end this leads to forging an alliance Zhcted. Although the king still give Tigre the title of Moonlight knight, this has special significance to Badouin because all those that receive this title become the next king of Brune so in a way the king is declaring Tigre his successor in a subtle way. That with the war over Tigre returns to Zhcted with Eleonora, that at least for now the story is finished. It is possible in the future they will make a continuation to this series, and if they do it would be interesting to see how things would turn out.

Amagi Brilliant Park - ep13

Now with how this last episode went it would have been better if they just end things at twelve because this is just a pointless piece of fluff. That in the events that transpire is all about Triken attempts at making a better PV since Kanie didn't much care for the one that he created. Although he gives Izusu orders to oversee it's production, this might have not been the best idea since neither has a good idea on what will make it better. This leads to them asking for input from the cast at the park which become a royal mess with the PV ending up more about the casts personal interest rather than about the park itself. That with the new PV complete, they end up showing it to Kanie who is repulsed by it which leads him to go with the one that Triken originally created. However interestingly enough Triken still release the other version online and Kanie is surprised by how many hit it has already received.

Trinity Seven - ep12

Now we reach the conclusion between Arata and Hijiri. Things start out with Akio destorying the last of Lugh's weapons which result in taking her out of the fight. That with this done everyone can focus on Hijiri, and toward this end Levi and Liese quickly find out that she can't be harmed. Although this is quickly corrected by having Arin taking it out with Levi's help to get her in position. That with this done it allows for Lilith and Arata to finish the job. That with Hijiri's defeat, Arata has a nice talk with her about why she is trying to destroy the world. It seems that Hijiri wants to upset the balance of the world that simply uses Arata as a tool in maintain the order of the universe and Hijiri desires to free him of this fate. That this is why she wish to destroy the world to break the cycle. In some ways Hijiri's actions are contradictory since through her actions she is accelerating Arata growth into the Demon Lord. However with the conclusion of the battle we see clearly the goal of each side and the driving force behind Hijiri.

That the rest of the episode focus on a last bit a fluff before the next season begins. This is start off with Lilith showing Arata around town to get his mind off being seperated from Hijiri once again. That through this all of the Trinity seven show up. That first additional appearance is Mira when Lilith taken Arata to a cafe where Mira works as a waitress and Akio works as the chief. Then other four appear by shadowing Lilith on their date that isn't a date. Things end with Arata giving Lilith a necklace as thanks for everything that she has done for him but it was a bit amusing when she though that Arata was going give her something different. It was also interesting that she is a bit disappoint that Arata didn't kiss her as she was expecting him to. Thing end with the other members of Trinity letting their presence be known which leads them to return to Mira's cafe. This season was largely about introducing Arata to the Trinity Seven and defining the goals that each side is working towards. The next season will most likely focus on the conflict between the Trinity Seven and Iscariot when ever they decide to release it.
