High School DxD - Episode 11

Episode – 11 characters

Matsuda & Motohama – They are Hyoudou Issei's friends from mid-school, on graduation they decide to enroll in Kuou Academy because they just change from an all girls school to co-ed. The reason they want this is that there would be high population of women to men, so that they could fulfill their dream of having a harem.

Kiba Yuuto – Is extremely popular with all the girls, and because of this he is envied by Issei, Matsuda, and Motohama. Although it seems that he will play a larger role later on.

Rias Gremony – Is the President of the Occult Research Club, and another key character in the story. However for some deeper reason she has been keeping a close eye on Hyoudou Issei.

Hyoudou Issei – Is overtly perverted, and has some strange dream about being a harem king. Which if you ever watch Yu-Gi-Oh, the joke that the writer is making is quite apparent. Although after he dies he has a slight change of heart. It will be interesting how much he maturates over the course of the series.

Himejima Akeno – She is the Vice-president of the Occult Research Club, and her personality is a refection of the Yamato Nadeshiko “Ideal Japanese Woman”. Although other than this not much is revealed.

Toujo Koneko – First year student at this part of the Occult Research Club, and is classified as a loli character that is popular with men and woman.

Ashia Argento – She is a nun that has recently moved into the city that Issei lives in, but the strange thing is that, the only church in town doesn't have a Priest so no-one see a point in going there. Other than this brief introduction not much more is given out about her.

Shitori Souna – She is the leader of another group of devils at the school called Sounashitori. Also she is the president of the student council, it appears that everyone that join her family has to become part of the student council. There is also the fact that she is the childhood friend of Rias Gremony.

Shinga Tsubaki – She is the vice-president of the student council, which means that it is likely that she was is Souna's Queen. Although anything more isn't really known

Saji Genshiro – It appears that he will be Issei rival of sorts, he was also a pawn. However he was only made with half as many pawns as Issei was. He doesn't like the idea that he is simliar to issei in any way.

Grayfia – She is the queen of Sirzechs, like Akeno is Rias's Queen. The other things is the question is who Sirzechs is, and that very simple. He is Rias brother.

Rizer phoenix – Is a jerk and a womanizer, also he is the heir to the phoenix clan. It also appears that he is Rias fiancee, even so he doesn't care that she doesn't like him. He just see her as an opportunity to obtain greater power, as well as another conquest.

Episode – 11 Summary

The Rating match continues into it's second part, although at this point it is hard to tell who is losing and who is winning. The fact is that Rizer has lost six pawns and one rook, but he still has a lot of pieces reminding. However on Rias side she has only so far lost one rook but she only had one piece of each type to begin with, so even the lose of one piece is a big blow to her. Shorty after this happens kiba grabs Issei so that they can collect their thoughts and focus on winning this match for Koneko sake as well. Then as they head back out to the field they are face with a knight and rook. While Kiba takes the knight this leave Issei the rook.

During most of this battle it focus more on Issei fight with the rook than on Kiba's fight. It turns out for the early part of the fight Issei just has to defend himself to give his sacred gear enough time to power-up so that he can defeat the rook. Then once enough time has pass he tries firing a low-power versions of the energy shot that he used at the end of the training episode. However it turns out that his strike misses, which gives the rook an opening to defeat Issei. Although Issei use this moment to set-up his dress-break spell, which we finish it. This gives him the perfect opportunity to finish off the rook with a second energy shot from his sacred gear.

While all this is happening, Kiba's fight with the knight reveals the true nature of his sacred gear. That his gear has the ability to make swords, any sword that he wants. That means he has the perfect weapon to use against his opponent by using his sword to seal all measure of attack that she posses. He show-off a bit by displaying the fact that he can cause sword to shoot out of the ground by stabbing it with his sword. Although by the time he finish explaining all of this Issei has already Finished-off his opponent,but Kiba feels the need to apologies to the enemy for the shameless way that she was defeated.

Just as this finishs the rest of Rizer piece show-up but the don't feel the need to all engage in the fight. The second knight of Rizer decides to make Issei her opponent while the rest sit back and watch. However, while this is happening Rias and Ashia tries to sneak in but are caught by Rizer. This leads to them taking there fight to the rooftop. After it been resolved that Rias is going to engage Rizer so that he can't interfere with the rest of the fights. Issei is continuing his fight with the knight, but once he realizes what a dire situation they are in. His emotional state causes His sacred gear to go through it second evolution, where now it can absorb the powers of other scared gears. This leads him to finish the fight down-below by having Kiba use his sacred gear against him, this allows him to enhance Kiba's gear so that they can defeat all of the enemies they are facing at once.

Then just as this happens, Kiba is taken out by Rizer queen that earlier was being occupied by Akeno. Although as this happens Issei quickly runs inside the building to get promote to a Queen. Then from here he rushs up to the roof to help out Rias fight Rizer, and finish the rating game. However things don't go as planed because as Ashia is healing Issei she is taken out by Rizer's Queen but even-though Issei protect her. The blast still ends up knock Ashia unconscious so that she can no-longer heal Rias. This results in Issei charging Rizer but just before he can reach him, Issei clauses from exhaustion and slides down the roof. While Issei is trying to recover Rizer doesn't give him the chance, and uses Rias feelings for Issei against her to force her to forfeit. That if she doesn't he really will kill Issei, this in the end is what causes her to loss the game. Although I believe this is just a nice set-up for a final battle between Issei and Rizer, because Rizer can't marry Rias if he is dead. The other possible end is if he loses to Issei a pawn, Rias brother Satan may feel that Rizer is no-longer fit to marry Rias.

Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai - Episode 11

Episode – 11 characters

Segawa Yuuta – Is a freshman in college, and is getting settled into his new life. His choose field of study for his major is Japanese literature. Also it appears that he has a complicated family because he was raised by his sister.

Oda Raika – She is viewed as a strange person because of the only person that she is know to spend time with is the Sightseeing Club President Sako. Where when she was a freshman she was extremely popular, however now in her second year of college as a Liberal Arts Major she is view as an outcast because of her strange behavior of not knowing how to deal with people.

Sako – He is the Sightseeing Club president, and is well known for his perverted nature. Also one thing in-particular is that he has a fetish for young girls meaning that he is a pedophile.

Nimura – Is a member of the Sightseeing club and it appears that he will be a close friend to Yuuta. Although for some strange reason he never really sleeps at his apartment but has women use it in his stead although for some reason he sleeps over at Yuuta's place but in return he pays for the food.

Sora – She is the Eldest Sister, and is from Shingo's first wife. Also another point to note is that for some reason she is deeply in-love with Yuuta her uncle who is the brother of her fathers thrid wife.

Miu – She is the middle child and is from Shingo's Second wife. While at this point it doesn't seem like she is in love with him like her elder sister, this still doesn't mean that she isn't fond of him.

Hina – She is the youngest sister, and of the three sister the only one that is of blood relation to Yuuta. It also appears that Yuuta hasn't had much interaction with her because of his dislike of Shingo because he married his sister when he had to daughter already.

Shingo – He is the husband of Yuri, Yuuta's sister. Also it appears that when he married her he brought with him two children from previous marriages. However we don't know if they end in divorce or death of his previous wives.

Yuri – Is Yuuta's sister and the third wife to Shingo. Also see wish for her whole family to exist as a whole and not have Yuuta create this barrier between them just because he doesn't like Shingo.

Atarashi Kurumi – Is Yuuta's next door neighbor, it appears that her occupation is that of a voice actress. She plays a part in Lunaluna 7 which is Hina's favorite show.

Sawa – She is the daughter of the landlady. There is two things that she is very particlar on. The first being rule, that everything must be done by the book and has no tolerance to rule breakers. The second is that she is very sensitive about is her age.

Landlady – The real Landlady or know as Sawa's boss and mother. Is more tolerant and is understanding of their situation. That she also understand that thing don't always play out in an ideal manner in which we would like them to.

Episode – 11 Summary

The focus in this episode is on exhaustion, that they are finally reaching their limits. In the end Yuuta's solution wasn't realistic, perhaps in the short-term yes. However in the prospect of long-term goals no it wasn't. The point of this is beginning so show through with the fact that Yuuta is always falling asleep in class because he uses too much energy working. While also not having near enough time to sleep. The other issue is that Sora and Miu are falling asleep in class even-though they are taking caffeine pills to stay awake. The problem is that their schools are just to far away, that it would be more realistic if they just transferred to a school that was closer.

This point is really driven home when Yuuta's Aunt comes to visit, and finds his apartment is a mess. Then when they sit down to have a talk about how things are going with the girls, so informs him about various things that he didn't know about. The reason for this is that he is just to busy to actually notice but this really isn't an excuse. That it turns out that Sora has quit her club. Things are even worse when she mentions that Sora and Miu are always falling asleep in class. Then to add insult in injury, Sora and Miu come home with a sick Hina on their back. It appears that they had to go and pick her up since the day care couldn't get hold of him. Then as she is leave, she advices him that he should really consider what is in the letter. Then act in the best interest of the girls.

Then as they get Hina inside, he says that he would like to say and look after her but he really needs to get to work. Then when he gets home from work he finds Sora has stayed-up waiting for him. It turns out that she wants to find out what Yuuta's Aunt wanted, it turns out that she knew more about what was going on with the girls than he did. That she is disappointed in the job that he was doing, while completely leaving the letter out of the discussion. Then later when Sora has the chance she reads the letter that Yuuto, didn't want to talk about. It seems that the Takanashi's, who are Shingo's side of the family. Have reflected on what they said at the funeral, and have taken in to consideration Yuuta's sacrifices. That they are now willing to take in all three girls, even-though they might still hate them for what they said. That they believe that Yuri would not want him to sacrifice his future for her girls. That if he wants to take them up on their offer, he will need to make the decision soon. This foreshadows the fact that Sora will end up making the decision for him, and they will be leaving Yuuta.

Nisemonogatari - Episode 11

Episode – 11 characters

Araragi Koyomi – Is the star of the show, he was a vampire but now he is human again but not completely. Although this makes him almost immortal with how fast he heals, also the pseudo-vampire that original turned him now lives in his shadow.

Senjougahara – She is the first girl that he helped in the previous series, and she is his current girlfriend. They started to become closer after he helped her to get her weight back from the weight god that original took it. Although when it took her painful memories it took her weight with it because “omoi” means both memories and physical weight.

Hanekawa – Is the fifth girl that he helped in the previous series, that her problem came from the sawari-neko. Which according to the write is one of the legendary cat-demons along with neko-mata “twin tail cat” and bake-neko “monster cat”. The sawari-neko lives inside the person and when the suffer from too much stress, it manifest itself to relieve the problem.

Sengoku – Is the forth girl that he helped, she was suffering from jagari-nawa which was a snake curse. Where it cause an invisible snake to bind the person body then once it reaches their neck it kills them. It turns out that she was curse because she turn down a boy that asked her out.

Hachikuji – Is the second girl in the previous series that he helped. It turns out that she wasn't actually a person but a ghost that is an earth-bound spirit that cause people to lose their way. Although it is also called a snail because people that follow it just endless go around in circles. That the only way to save it is by having it go somewhere that isn't mapped out.

Araragi Karen – She is the older of Koyomi's two sisters, Koyomi make a point of mentioning the fact of that she has a natural talent for karate. That she presents herself in a way that reflect her aggressive nature, and doesn't go about hiding it like her younger sister.

Araragi Tsukihi – She is the younger of Koyomi's two sisters, although from his perspective she uses her womanly charm to hide her aggressive nature. Instead of presenting out there for all to see like her elder sister.

Kanbaru Suruga – Is the third girl that he helped in the previous series. Although her problem was that she made a contract with a lesser demon called the rainy devil. Which once it grants your wish it takes your soul. Then because Kanbaru hated Araragi for being able to get close to Senjougahara so easily. Kanbaru wish for him to die. Although Araragi set things in motion Senjougahara made so that the rainy devil couldn't fulfill the wish because after Suruga kill Koyomi, Senjougahara would kill her thous invaliding the wish and saving Kanbaru's soul.

Kaiki Deishuu – He is a man that Araragi first meets outside of Kanbaru's mansion. Although during this meeting he uses his name to define himself. The first kanji “Kai” like a mountain of clam-shells, and the second kanji “Ki” like a dead tree. While comparing Araragi's name to his own by saying he is a dead tree but Araragi is a sapling. The last thing that is noted is that he is similar to oshino-san but at the same time possesses an ominous foreboding.

Oshino Meme – Is an important character in the Bakemonogatari story is because he is the one that helped Araragi with his vampirism, as well as helped him save all the other girls in the previous series. That be became less important until he finally leaves, to important of this fact is that he was preparing Araragi to be able to face these things without his help.

Oshino Shinobu – Is the vampire that attack Araragi Koyomi, and with Oshino's help she was defeated by using the Sawari-neko that lives inside of Hanekawa. That currently she lives inside of Araragi Koyomi's shadow, and they have a love hate relationship.

Kagenui Yodzuru – It is now known that she is just like Oshino, but also in other ways she is completely different than him. That all monsters or aberrations need to die, that there is no comprises like Koyomi has with Shinobu. That their very existence is harmful to humans regardless of the circumstances.

Ononoki Yotsugi – It appears that unlike Kagenui, she is a shikigami or aberration that live to serve Kagenui. That the reason that she appear so odd and unusual is because she wasn't human. That in reality she only appeared to look human.

Episode – 11 Summary

It seems like a lot of my assumption about Tsukihi were incorrect, it turns out that Tsukihi was always a phoenix. Then from this Shinobu explains to Koyomi what Tsukimi really is. The fact is to a degree Kagenui is incorrect that Tsukihi is a phoenix, when she is really something called a dying bird. This creature called a dying bird the moment before it dies, it goes it a humans woman's womb before if dies so it can be reborn. That in reality the victim of the dying bird isn't his sister but his mother. That as far as monsters go it is the most harmless of all the creature out there because it only uses human to reincarnate. That in reality Tsukihi relationship to Koyomi is no different that if she was adopted, that she is still his sister even if they aren't related. Then before he goes off to face Kagenui to prevent her from killing Tsukihi, he confirms if he feels anyways different towards Tsukihi by kissing her. Although from her reaction shows him that she is no different than who she was before he knew, that she is still family even-though her origins are not what he thought that they once were. Then with knowing this he is perfectly fine with fighting Kagenui to the death.

Once he arrives at the old building that Oshino use to live in, he makes some final preparations by having Shinobu suck his blood. This cause Shinobu to transform into a teenage-girl, with this done they head up to face Kagenui. Then from the short talk with Kagenui about how they should do this fight. Koyomi finds out that this whole problem was caused by Kaiki. It appears that Kaiki, Oshino, and Kagenui all went to college together in the same major. What even more shocking is that they were even friends, but the thing that piss Koyomi off is that this whole situation was set-up by Kaiki. That somehow he found-out what Tsukihi was and knew that Kagenui would seek to destroy any monsters. That in the end Koyomi would have to come to him for information. That in reality it wasn't any chance event that they meet at the doubt-shop that in reality Kaiki was waiting for him. That all of this was so way to get back at Koyomi. Once he get over this shock, he decides that it going to be monster verse monster and human verse human. This leave Shinobu and Ononoki to have their fight somewhere else, while Kagenui and Koyomi have it out.

The whole fight between Kagenui and Koyomi is very one-side where it mostly entails Kagenui beating Koyomi up, while telling him how she doesn't like the idea of him forcing is ideas on other people. That he might be alright with the fact that Tsukihi is immortal and a monster but what does the rest of his family feel about it. That in a way Kagenui is being a hypocrite because she is forcing her ideals on Koyomi because she feels that she is right. The justification for this is because she is seeking to destroy a monster so she must be a good guy. However she is curious on how Ononoki is doing against Shinobu, she punch Koyomi through the floor to see how they are doing. Then as things turn out is that Ononoki has been defeated by Shinobu without Shinobu be harmed in the least. In the end Kagenui concedes defeat when, he tells her that he will lie, deceive, and force his ideal on them because they are family. This leads to Kagenui telling him about the theory of fundamental evil, that the desire to do good is artificial and question become which is of greater value. When Kaiki proposed this question to them, she answer that it was the thing that was real. While Oshino believed that both the real and the fake had equal value. Then Kaiki said that the fake had more value because it was trying to be something greater. In the this is point at the fact that because Tsukihi is a fake is might be of greater worth than if she was real. In the end she decides to leave things as they are because by killing Tsukihi she the good guy would be evil. That reach the end of this arc but in the conclusion it leaves one last thing to be addressed and that is for Koyomi's girlfriend Senjougahara to meet his family.
