Infinite Stratos S2 - ep11

Now they throw in another filler episode after Cecilia's cooking episode. Although this episode purpose was to set the stage for the return of Phantom Task. While the end of last episode alluded to their return. Throughout the episode each of the girls have a little time with Ichika, the first one being Tatenashi mailing herself to Ichika's hotel. In some ways it a tribute to the last season with Tatebane appearing out of a carrot that she launch down from space. However Kanzaki is quick about stuffing her back inside to send her away.

Then things get complicated with all the girls wanting Ichika to take their picture, so much so that he should be pay by the school to be the field trips photographer. In trying to get away from them, Ichika end up running into Charlotte. This eventaully leads them to meet up with the other at a shirne, but he has to run from them when he says something insensitive. Which leads to him running into Kanzaki dress in a kimono, but they catch him comleting her which start the chase a new until he runs into Houki. Where he is force to buy them some sweet to get their forgiveness, eventhough Ichika doesn't know what he has done wrong.

This leads to the arrive of Phantom Task, when the are preparing to head to the hotel. However Ichika has to go back for his camera that he dropped. Then since it is taking awhile Houki and Cecilia go looking for them. Although at this moment he is being confronted by Madoka, while Autum has appeared to prevent Houki and Cecilia from giving him support. Then at the same time everyone is trapped on the train. It seems that he is going to have to fight on his own until he can get support. One thing is for certain that the next episode is going to return to the action. Also we might be able to get down to the truth about Madoka and why Ichika doesn't know her but others close to him do.  

Valvrave the Liberator - ep22

Now with everyone reaching rock bottom, the secret that they all were holding are being revealed. First you have Haruto's secret of his sacrifice for Shoko as it is revealed to her through Pino. This leads her to feeling regretful for selling Haruto down the river. Then you have A-deri finding out the truth about why L-elf shot him in the first place. That in the end his failure was that he couldn't trust L-elf in the end, This leads to him freeing Rukino, where so can rejoin with the others now that she has her unit back. Although the greatest secret that is the one that Haruto and L-elf has been keeping from each other. This moment is important because most of the episode revolves around their time trap on the moon.

L-elf revealed his secret that Haruto kill Shoko's father, when he gets irritated that he is still trying after everything that has just happened. That L-elf wants him to accept everything is over and give up like he has. Then in his rage and blaming L-elf for everything that happen, he reveals the truth about Lieselotte was Magius. This leads him into believing for a time that she was tricking him this entire time. However after think back about her action, he realize that she was being imprisoned. Also this truth gives something for him to hold on to, that he owes it to her the realize her dream of a world where both races can live together in peace. Then together they light the flare, which turn into a gamble because anyone can see it. First it looks like Dorssia has them but in the end Rukino saves them, after being gone for such a long time. Now it looks like everyone is going to gather together for the final battle, it should be interesting how things are going to end since Haruto is on his last leg. Although will this coming battle really be the conclusion or is just the point of a new beginning.

Unbreakable Machine-Doll - ep10

Now with Raishin and Henri trapped down below because of Char attack on Edward Rutherford. However it turns out to be a good opportunity for Raishin because Henri has no where to run and currently the safest place is by Raishin's side. Then when another collapse happens Henri get injured preventing them from traveling any further. Now with nothing else to do but wait, Henri starts talking about her sister. Then before too long they are interrupted by Rutherford's bodyguard Magnus.

This is the start of a very uncomfortable time for Raishin, which leads to him getting up a leaving so that he can get some distance from Magnus. Then Henri follows after and in his irritation he tells her why he came here in the first place. That his goal is to kill Magnus because he killed his entire family. Raishin wants her to keep quite about it because this is something that even he hasn't told Char about. Then it isn't long after that Raishin gets attack by some strange butler, but he is only save by the arrival of the rescue party. Which leads to his reunion with Yaya but it seems like Henri wants to say something to Raishin although she can't because of Yaya imposing presence.

Things get difficult for Raishin because Yaya wants to remove his pants, while he wants to have a serious conversation about Char and Henri. This leads to him revealing to fact that he has a finance, so he would do anything like what she is thinking about. That he never told her because he was afraid she would kill him. That the only thing that saves him is his omission to that fact that he is going to marry her because it was something his parents decide and the fact he has no obligation anymore because his clan is gone. However this is going to cause problems in the future because Frey overheard the part about him having a finance but not the rest. Then there is the fact that Char could have hear Frey talking about to her self when she was flying overhead, and if she did it will be interesting to see the impact it has.

Although after Yaya calms down, Raishin goes about executing his plan to draw out his enemy. That from his interaction with Henri, he realize that she has been trying to kill herself for the sake of her sister. That as long as she is around, Char will never be free. That Raishin intends to use this against them to draw them into the open by kidnapping Henri. Now with the return of the butler, Raishin will be able to get to the bottom of things. However it's doubtful that it's going to be that simple since they have to make this conflict last for one more episode after this since they are staying true to form that they established with each arc being four episodes long. It seems that they will not be doing a rush ending, but setting it up so that they can continue it at a later date.

Log Horizon - ep10

Now we have the transition from the old arc to the new one. First to bring a conclusion to all that happened, thing finish the conference and clear define what guild are going to join the round table. That the first of the issue is the fact of making the food preparation method public knowledge. Also there is the an issue the preparation method it self that make other thing possibility that weren't possible before. That anything can be made as long as you have the right knowledge and the appropriate class, and craft guilds have proved this with their prototype steam engine. This also address a fundamental issue that the cost of living is to low, that by raising to cost of living you will also be improving the quality of life. The last issue point to the next future conflict which is to prevent war with the people of the land. This could prove to be a major issue since they are necessary for the adventures but the people of land would be fine without them.

That with the conference take care of, we get to so how life has been improved in Akibahara. Also there is the issue of what Shiroe has been up to since then. It appears that he has now bought a building for his guild and is in the process of getting it move in. Although what the real focus on this second half is what was the conclusion of Hamelin. Now with them unable to use their hall anymore they were force to move on. The ones that were trapped inside their guild hall either kill themselves to resurrect at the cathedral or they teleport to outside using “call of home”. Then you have the fate of the low level players that were imprisoned by Hamelin, were taken in by Cescent Moon Alliance which has leaded them to getting a much bigger guild. Things end with Touya and Minori joining Log Horizon. However it seem that trouble is coming sense they are now being monitor by some of the people of the land. The question is there are on the horizon for Akihabara, the issue is what is their intent. The problem is did Shiroe's action lead to a potential conflict between them or do they desire help from Akihabara to restore order to rest of the regions.

Infinite Stratos 2 - ep10

Now they decide to give some air time to the girls that they have been ignoring in this second season. Things first get start of with them question Kanzaki on her relationship with Ichika, which formally cements her place in the group. Then things get a bit nasty with Tatenashi causing more trouble for Ichika by having him be the one to take the girls measurements. The only thing that could be worse is the question of who get to take his measurements. Although this is mostly a transition point to get to the real point of this episode. That it is about the girls cooking or more about the issue of who can't cook. This proves problem because Ichika complements Houki, Char, and Rin cooking. However he avoids the issue of Cecilia's cooking skill because he doesn't want to step on a landmine. What maker feel worse is when the Kanzaki can cook better than her.

This leads to Cecilia seeking help because she want Ichika to complement her cooking as well. First she seek help from Houki, which she is happy to help. Although a momentary distraction is all the Cecilia need to add something she shouldn't have which result in the first victim. The next victim turns out to be Char because she makes the same mistake that Houki did by leaving her alone with the food. However after Char falls victim, Laura falls victim as well because she didn't know Cecilia made it. Then after Cecilia's third victim she goes to Rin, then at this point it is is possible that she is doing this intentional to eliminate her competition. Although the situation with Rin proves that it is just her usual incompetence.

This leads to her last hope Ichika, which ironically should have been her first choice. First thing is that he doesn't have her make anything to complicated. Also he has no problem giving her all the attention she need to prevent from increasing the body count further. That with the romantic atmosphere between the two of them, it clear that she is going use future lessons to get closer to Ichika. Now with the fun and games over thing seem to progress to the closure of the season with Tatebane meeting with the leader of Phantom Task. Although when Madoka attack her when the leader doesn't get the answer so wants, it seems that Tatebane is not a stranger to these sort of things. Although wants interesting is that she immediately knew who Madoka was. It seems the things will end with some sort of resolution to the situation with Madoka, perhaps with freeing her from the grip of Phantom Task.

Valvrave the Liberator - ep21

After Dorssia used Saki it doesn't take long for everything to fall apart, although it's kind of funny with the way ARUS reacted. If ARUS is suppose to symbolize America, and one of the greatest aspiration of western society is immortality. That the Dorssia proved that the residence of module 77 are undying, would that cause ARUS to worship them as gods. However that doesn't happen because both world leaders are part of Magius, that they need them to disappear to allow the secret to stay hidden so they can continue feeding on the human race. Now the world is hell bent on there extermination with the alliance between Dorssia-ARUS to exterminate these so called monsters. Although they are so driven by fear they don't think to question why when the students are killed they don't rise again.

This might have been prevented if L-elf wasn't so out of it, but he is still stuck in his own little world. This leaves them with little choice but to abandon module 77 before ARUS kills them all. The plan is to gather together as many survivors together as possible then launch into space using the mass driver to give them a boost, but it unclear where the plan to go since the entire human race is now against them. That they will also need supplies if they are going to survive for very long. Although this isn't the current issue, escape is of a more pressing concern. That leave their fate in the hands of the Valvrave pilot, whether or not the are going to survive.

That during this time of much uncertainty ARUS sets a trap to play on their potential divided loyalties, by saying that they will be free to go if they give them Haruto. This event leads them into luring Haruto back by saying that some ARUS soldiers are on board. Although this is just a trap so that they can save their own skin. Then they are surprised when they are double crossed, when earlier it was clear that the intend to kill every single last one of them. However with this betrayal on both side, Inuzuka continues to protect his friends as the other pilot continue to fight.

This leads to raising of Inuzuka's death flag, because someone has to stay behind to protect the mass driver. While also he intendeds to also rescue Haruto before everything is finished. This leave Akira and Thunder to board the shuttle. Then in his final moment he wants to re-affirm Haruto's feeling for Shoko, since he knows he's not going to survive. That he wants to see Haruto have his happy ending with Shoko, since he lost his with future with Aina. That in his final moments he succeeds in taking the enemy with him while rescuing Haruto. Then only question now when the entire truth is revealed to Shoko will they have a future as the final stages of the curse are setting in, also what are they going to do now that everything seems to be lost. The only hope it seem is if L-elf can make a glorious comeback.

Unbreakable Machine-Doll - ep09

It seems that this time it not an issue of an impersonator, that Char is really the culprit. The question to Raishin is why. This brings him to investigate her look-a-like, which turns out to be her sister Henri. That after receiving aid for Frey in finding her, he also learn that she has failed to commit suicide many times before that him stopping her wasn't the first time. Also since she has a fear of men, it going to be hard for her to answer Raishin's questions that he ask her. Then when he ask Frey to do it for him, she asks Yaya's question instead of the proper question that he want to get answered. This also cause misunderstanding with Frey that he has to clear up and in the meantime Henri escapes.

Then after running into various dead end and even Char approaching him tell him not to get involved when she has been avoiding him. This leads him into approaching Kimberley-Sensei since he knows that she is more than just a teacher. She validates his suspicions that someone is forcing Char to do these things. That the most likely culprit is the Kingforts family, this raise the question on what could they have to force her to do this. The other issue is what the gain from having Char assassinate Edward Rutherford. It seems that it is a form of revenge for the Kingforts that they are able to eliminate one of the key people responsible for smearing their name, while also restore their good name by having the one that was proven innocent to do the crime. This would lead people to question who was really guilty in the Cannibal Candy case. The issue now become how will Raishin save Char from herself, and get proof about Kingforts involvement in blackmailing Char to do their dirty work. Things end with Char making a second attempt on Edward Rutherford's life but it also resolts in getting Raishin and Henri caught in the crossfire. Although it appears that Raishin is going to get some of his answers. The only question is this going to be a short arc and end the season on or will it go the normal length of the other two arcs.
