Log Horizon - ep09

Now his plan has began with the beginning of the conference. That in the end it appears to he invited various guilds for the purpose of representing all of Akihabara. The first of these is Black Sword Knights, Honesty, Silver Swords, and DDD they are their representing the combat guilds. Next is Roderic Merchant Guild, Marine Agency, and Shopping Street 8 which are representing the merchant guilds. Lastly Crescent Moon Alliance, Grander, and Radio Market representing the small guilds. That the purpose of the conference is to create a council to maintain order in the lawless Akihabara, but it doesn't take long before one of the guilds bow out. Silver Swords leave because they feel that what happens in the city has nothing to do with them and will not effect them. Although it appears that in the future they will regret their decision.

Then when the issue of laws are brought up Black Sword Knights bring up the issue of that there are laws, that no fighting is allowed in town. Although Shiroe corrects by stating this is a natural phoneme it not that they choose not to fight it that they can't fight in town. That it is because of this lawlessness that Hamelin goes unopposed, that this is also why Susukino descend into a state of anarchy because of the action of a single guild. That both are immoral but not illegal. This leads the the question of how who he enforce the laws that the Council would make. It turns out to be very simple since he has bought the guild building.

This simple fact change everything while also reveling what Shiroe want the five million for, this also relates to how he would free the low level players being imprisoned by Hamelin. That with the ownership of the guild building he can deny access to the bank where they store most of their resources. Now with the teleporting gates down it means that they can't travel to another town to with draw their resource. This also means that he denies players the right to enter their guild if it is located within the build, while also controlling the ability to join, leave, and create guilds. That in the end this would force the blacklist guild to leave willing, hence anyone that doesn't abide by the laws are exiled.

This also connects with his war against Hamelin and free the players from their grasp. The only problem is that he doesn't control those that are already inside Hamelin's guild, but to solve that all he needs to do is get them to leave the guild. Then with them in his Territory he can have them leave the guild without Hamelin interfering. This is also convent since is allows him to set an example for those that chose to disobey to laws in the future. This end the suffering that Minori and Touya had to endure. However they don't like the idea of Shiroe's ability to blackmail them but in reality if it wasn't in effect than they wouldn't even think of trying to get along. That in a way it is their fault that it has come down to this because they didn't care about anyone else but themselves. That Shiroe doesn't want to blackmail anyone he just wants to return life to the town that he sees is dying, and to do that they need laws that people will follow to maintain order.

Infinite Stratos S2 - ep09

Now with Kanzaki knowing that her sister was the one motivating Ichika, it cause her to distance herself from him. Although she can't avoid him forever because the tournament is today, and once again it seem that Ichika luck holds true, it seems that they will be fighting Tatenashi and Houki in the first match. However before anything can really began it seem that the IS Academy is once again getting attacked by unmanned drones and it seem this time it is seems that the Academy was expecting something like this would happen.

That isn't of trying to resolve the conflict between Ichika and Kanzaki by getting everything out in the open. They use the battle to resolve the conflict and this is not just about her conflicting emotional turmoil about Ichika but also about the shadow that she feels that her sister cast over her life. That it isn't until her sister falls that she is able to stand up for herself. That once everything is resolve it allows for the fences to final be mended. However this cause Tatenashi to question the fact on why she didn't solve her problem herself but got Ichika to solve it for her. This hints at the fact that she might be falling in love with Ichika but currently it appears that her little sister is more assertive on this front than any of the other girls. Although she failed to convey herself properly this time, it is likely that it is only a matter of time before Kanzaki succeeds. The question remains is how they are going to resolve the issue about Madoka before the season ends.

Valvrave the Liberator - ep20

Now with the return to space brings greater problems, the greatest issue is the effect that Lieselotte's sacrifice has had on L-elf. That even-though she sacrifice herself for L-elf, this also destroys his will to live. This ultimately drives him off the deep end with him trying to come up with a way that she still could have been saved. That without him they have to come up with a plan on their own to deal with the Magius ship that is approaching module 77. They barely managed to stop it, however when they return home they find out what Shoko has been up to, trying to get ARUS to join the in their find against Dorssia. That it seems like things are progression to a unit front against Dorssia, since with Lieselotte's death has cause rebellion the rise up against the current ruling reigning government.

Although all of this is very important however to Haruto what is of a greater issue is the Magius. That he doesn't have anything on them that he can act upon. However it turns out that he might not have to go looking for them but they will come to him. The reason for this is that they are not pleased with the attack that one of their ships has suffered because of them and choose to use an indirect way of acting against them by exposing certain secrets that they kept hidden during the conference that they are holding with ARUS. That this also brings us back to the issue of what happen to Yukino, and that they are using her to reveal part of the truth about the Valvrave pilots. While casting doubt on them by making them out to be monsters, by declaring them as the true enemies of humanity. That by destroying module 77 credibility, you also destroy the resistance that was forming around Dorssia. It seems that module 77 is going to on the run again unless Haruto can use what he knows about the Magius against them.

Unbreakable Machine-Doll - ep08

Now you have the conclusion of the arc, although where they left off last time makes it look like Loki is siding with D-Works. However as things progress we see that far from the truth, that this is his rebellion from D-works. His reason is the same as Raishin's to stop the disposal of the living dog puppets that Frey loves. Then with Loki going turn-coat this makes things difficult on Raishin to figure out if Loki is on his side or if he is going to treat him like an enemy like he is treating D-Works. Once they take cover for awhile it takes them awhile to hash out a truce in the form of an argument that they are trying to sell each other out to the enemy. Once they can work together for their own goal, it doesn't take long to deal with D-Works.

However once everything is dealt with one last enemy shows up late to the party, to owner of D-Works Bronson. Now what interesting is they make him into the last boss by having him use a more advance version of Cherubim named Lucifer, that in a way his puppet reflects his god complex that he seems to have. In the fight against Lucifer it takes both Raishin and Loki working together to win, although there are a few pit falls along the way with Loki having to deal with a real fight and not a duel. Things end with Raishin using his trump card that he was saving for Loki when they had their rematch. That at the end Kimberly-sensei shows up to arrest Bronson for his illegal experiments, while also saving Raishin and Loki from expulsion.

Then at the end they are receiving treatment from their battle, although it a bit horrific for Raishin when Yaya tries to take extra special care of him in a way that he has never felt was appropriate. This leads to pissing Loki off however before he can exact his vengeance on Raishin for disturbing him Frey enters. Where we get to see that Frey is not just working with Rabi but some of the other dogs that they saved from D-Works. Then when the two return to fighting amongst each other, this leads to Frey implying that she has plans to marry Raishin in the future. This leads to Raishin having to run for his life from the combined attack of Yaya and Cherubim. The chapter final comes to a closes with the beginning of the next arc, with Char disappearance follow by the appears of two people that look like Char. Also with a puppet that looks like Sigmund attacking the school, it seems that things aren't going to quite down for Raishin any time soon.

Log Horizon - ep08

Now with Shiroe's plan in motion, they explain how Minori and Touya ended up at Hamelin. It turns that in the being they only had each other while trying to adapt to this new world that they found themselves in. Although when they finally venture outside the city walls to explore, things didn't go very well for them. Since shortly after they left the safety of Akihabara, they were Pked by the party that tried to take down Shiroe in the beginning of the series. This result in them losing most of all their items when they were Pked, that they were just left with what little they left in the bank. Then in their dire situation they would have taken help from anyone that could save them. It just their misfortune that Hamelin was the ones that lent their assistance.

This leads to the greater issue at hand, in dealing with Hamelin by forming an alliance with the other guilds. It seems that marketing of their food wasn't to really gain money but attention of the other guilds. Then under the guise of further expansion, Shiroe has Marie meet with three of the largest merchant guilds. The first being Shopping Street 8 who is leaded by Karashin who is an old friend of Marie. That she gets him to join by buying their resources from him at a discount, and in return he will be able to join in on the meeting that they are having with the other two major merchant guilds.

That it is through this meeting of these other guilds we see the true intent behind Shiroe's desire to gather five million, because he is using it for the foundation of their alliance. Although his action through Marie is misleading because he wants them to believe by have each of them invest 1.5 million that they are embarking on an even larger quest, where their return will far exceed what the invested. While also gaining the Cresent Moon Alliance secret cooking recipes, that they see the profit from that would be endless. However this is just setting the stage for the next phase of Shiroe's plan by having a meeting with the major Guilds in Akihabara. What it seems like is that Shiroe is trying to lay the foundation of a government to return order to the lawless that has fallen upon Akihabara. That this will free the people from the prison that they find themselves in. Although it's a bit unclear how this will free his two friends from Hamelin and leaded to exiling them from Akihabara.

Infinite Stratos S2 - ep08

Now Ichika has to deal with the aftermath of asking Kanzaki to be his partner. First major point of the chaos that follows Ichika is the reaction of his harem responding to his indirect refusal. Although realistically he really couldn't have asked anyone of them in the first place. In this ways Tatenashi helped him be fair where in the end everyone was equally hurt. However now they are out for blood, this leads them to team up with each other. This leads Houki being left out which results in her teaming up with Tatenashi. While Ichika tries to convince Kanzaki to team up with him while she continues to refuse him but without revealing that her sister put him up to it.

That in the end Ichika wins her over with his persistence, although through all this it reveals a sub-plot through out the episode revolving around sisters. First you have the reverse parallel between Houki and Tatenashi, how they are in different position of one being the younger and older sibling and their struggle to break the uncloseable gap between their siblings from apposing sides of the fence. The you have the parallel between Ichika and Kanzaki how they wish to surpass the achievements of their siblings. Also this leads to the fact how they desire to step out of the shadow that their siblings has cast upon them. However when things are going the right way for Ichika things turn sour when Tatenashi is visiting Ichika and Kanzaki stops by to thank him for all that he has done for her. This results in her finding out about her sister being involvement with Ichika, and how her sister was the motivating force behind Ichika's actions. The question is how is this going to effect their relationship, while also change her perceptive on Ichika actions. The other issue is how will she face Ichika now that she knows, and how will Ichika resolve this issue.

Valvrave the Liberator - ep19

Their goal this time was to tie up all the lose ends in everything that has been happening. Although the largest focus was on Mikhail and Lieselotte relationship. That everything that L-elf has done so far was all for her sake because it was love at first sight for him. That he is intent on freeing her and merely sees the students as a means to this end, that is when Haruto arrives in Unit-01 he has him take her back to the rocket as it is preparing to depart. Then before Haruto departs they learn that there is a problem with the rocket, it turns out that Dorssia has block the runway they need to take off. This leads to L-elf going off to secure another path by lowering a bridge. However as L-elf is fading into the background in the pursuit of carrying out this task. It is also implied that this will be his final act, that he will sacrifice his life to see her safely to her new home.

Then as Haruto is return to his friends with Lieselotte, Pino points out the truth about Lieselotte. That she isn't human, this leads her to explain about herself and the Magius. That they arrived her from outer-space hundreds of years ago, but since they didn't have bodies it made life for them very difficult. That in the end they could only survive by taking the bodies of others, then to keep their existence a secret they create the Magius. This ultimately leads us to the point on why she was imprisoned, was she try to expose the Magius so that they could co-exist with the humans. However for this crime so was imprisoned, while having her runes always drained so that she was always left on the verge of death.

However with L-elf's action they have a way to escape but Haruto isn't going to leave him behind to die. This leads to him separating from the other to get L-elf, because he wants to grant L-elf wish to be together with Lieselotte even if she believe this isn't possible because he is human. That Haruto to an extant see their situation as a mirror reflection of his own. However things become tragic when the rocket is damage in take-off, which results in Lieselotte sacrificing herself for them. Although in the end she is happy because she was able to understand what love was in the end, and through this act she was able to realize that she loved Mikhail. However what will her sacrifice mean for L-elf, because now that she is lost there is nothing motivating him anymore or will he become more driven because she died for them. The one question they never really answered was Yukino able to reunite with them before they escaped or is she once again left behind to fend for herself, even thought she has final made it back inside her own body.

Unbreakable Machine-Doll - ep07

Now with Raishin being critical injured by Loki, it reveals another rule of the Night Party that if you kill a puppeteer than you are disqualified. This is the reason that Loki stop the fight so that Raishin could get treated. This also means since it's Raishin goal to kill Mangus for the murdering his family, then this means that he never intended to become wise-man that the only thing he is after is revenge. While he is recovering, a little bit is reveal about his past and why he wasn't killed with his family. It appears that he was exiled from the clan and that is why he wasn't there when everyone was murdered. There is also the fact that it seems that he doesn't care about avenging his clan but about avenging to death of his sister Nadeshiko. Which is going to make things complicate since it appears that she has been made into one of Magnus's puppets.

Also with his injury it also bring into question some of Raishin past with Yaya and why she is so attach to him. Although they don't explain much on what happened but it seems with the appearance of Irori that the three of them that were made by Shoko are sister in the truest since of the word and not just because they were all made by Shoko. They use this time to make us believe that Raishin will be unable to attended the next night because of his injuries. That the next battle will be between Loki and Frey. This appears to be true for the most part, and it seems that Loki beats her almost effortlessly. That is until Rabi goes berserk and starts forceful extracting Mana from Frey put her life endanger.

That is when Raishin returns because Loki wants to destroy Rabi because it is endangering Frey 's life. Although his action are just forcing Rabi to drain her life faster, that in the end after much conflict between Loki and Raishin they eventual work together to save Frey. That once things calm down Shoko appears to take a look at both Frey and Rabi. This gives her the opportunity to do Raishin's job to take a piece of Rabi's magical circuit, but afterward what Raishin finds out drives him up the wall. That D-works is playing god by trying to manufacturer puppeteers for their magical circuits, this leads him to return to D-work with Yaya even-though Char tried to stop him. Things come to an end with the appearance of Loki, it seems that next time we will get the conclusion to this arc.

Log Horizon - ep07

Last time they focus on the role that guilds play in this world, while this time they are focusing in on the issue of money. That a basic amount money a person needs to earn in this world is 35 goal piece, which doesn't take lot of effort because it can be achieve by defeating a few monsters. There is also the issue that a single individual can only store so much currency. That it is the guilds that have true finical power. Although they haven't directly answer why needs to a mass such a fortune but it is clear that it is just a means to an end.

This become clear when Log Horizon partners up with the CMA to open up their booth. That by using the one thing that is in the highest demand right now, which real food will make it extremely easy to a mass the fortune that Shiroe desires. However with their current alliance they are only able to serve about 1,000 people that is only 1/15 of the population of Akihabara. Then towards the end he make another alliance with a guild that is run by Soujirou who is an old friend to Shiroe. The way things are shaping up it looks like he plan for this business is to use as the bases of creating an alliance with other guild to basically form a union. That it also appears that he will use this union to black-list Hamelin so that they will be force to free the lower level player that are being imprison by them. The only thing that is clear is that if Shiroe want to reach his goal that alliance is necessary, but the question is how will he grantee their loyalty.

Infinite Stratos S2 - ep07

It seems that now it is Houki's time to shine when a classmate ask Ichika and Houki to accept an interview. That in the actual interview Houki mishears some of things that Ichika said during the interview. Which isn't unexpected since she doesn't get to spend a lot of time alone with Ichika anymore. Things get even better for Houki when they have to do a photo-shoot together, where a lot of the poses make it like like they are lovers. Things end well for her was she breaks her heel on her shoe and Ichika has to carry her the rest of the way on his back. Although this event will probable cause conflict in the future.

Once Houki's time is over things get back on track with the main plot with the announcement of a tag tournament. The reason being that everyone needs to sharpen up on their skill because of a certain someone got attack recently. This leads to the big question once again on who Ichika would pair up with, although this time he doesn't have an easy out like last time when Char was cross-dressing as a boy. However it turns out that Tatenashi makes his decision for him by guilt tripping into being her sisters partner because it is his fault that her sister's IS development was put on hold in favor of building his IS. It seems that something more is going on since Tatenashi doesn't what her sister to know that she was involved.

However this cause even more problems when Laura tries to force Ichika to be her partner. This leads Ichika to declare that he has already chosen who he would partner up with. It turn out that Laura doesn't take this rejection well, while at the same time he gives false hope to Houki and Cecilia. Also it is understandable why Houki would believe it would be her because of the interview that they went through earlier, but things are not going to look good for him when they find out who he really pick or was force to pick. Things get even more out of hand when Kanzaki appears to turn him down when he asks. However there is probably more to Tatenashi request than meets the eye with the fact that Kanzaki is developing her own person IS, this would also mark as the next likely target for Phatom Task and there is also the point that Ichika himself is still marked. Which is likely the reason why Tatenashi force this on Ichika to partner with her sister because she wants the two high risk targets close together as possible. This would make guarding them easier.

Valvrave the Liberator - ep18

It seem now that we are face with the truth about L-elf and the truth behind his desire to help Haruto and the others. Also it time for Haruto to face the greater truth about himself that was being hidden by L-elf. First is what allow for the present to meet the past. It seems that from helping the Loyalists they were given some information about what Dorssia, from this information the most important things is that in the future Dorssia is planning an attack on Module 77 in the future. The other point is where some of the Jiorians that were taken are being held. This leads to the creation of the plan to focus on these two agendas. L-elf knows that these people that were taken will have information of the Valvrave, this will mean that they would have meet their initial goal for coming to earth. While to the others this means that they can rescue their families. While the second objective to getting back into space to stop the attack on Module 77, to this end they are going to use a rocket that is being held at the national museum to return to space.

Things go well unit the meeting with Kriemhild his former superior who he was always aware of the fact that she was a loyalist. However because she is being noisy and ask about Mikhail throws a wrench into everything that they are planning. This set L-elf off because only one person would know that name since he was given the designation L-11. However even-though L-elf has run off Haruto believes that they should push through with what they originally had planned. This leads to Haruto finding out about who his father really is, that he is the head of the Valvrave project. That his plan was to use the Valvraves to create the next set in human evolution. That his father doesn't see Haruto as his ultimate work of art to fulfill his dream. Although because of his god complex he doesn't see the suffering that he brought to Haruto, that he see his gift as a curse. That Haruto want to destroy everything he created. While it seem that everyone else was force to go allong with Haruto's fathers plan by using their children.

While this is going on we see the truth being L-elf, that the reason he was helping them was because he wanted to save Lieselotte. That he see the country on Module 77 that they are trying to build was her save haven. That he tried to rescue her before but failed because he didn't prepare a place for them to be save. Now that he does have one, and with her being so close. This leads L-elf to the decision to take her with them when they return to space. Lieselotte is the sole reason why he has help them and why he will continue to help them because with the lies Lieselotte salvation, but the question is what is her importance to Dorssia army. The final issue is Yukino's return to the ship that they stole and it is left abandoned. The question is with everyone planning returning to space how will Yukino not be left behind once again.
